Holy Cow, you have these issues with an i7-13700k and a 4090? I run now a meta Quest 3 (see my Specs in my Sig) with quite a good performance. Whats the serving Program to run the Pimax Crystal? For all old a later Oculus and Meta Quest Headsets, its the meta link App on the PC, which comes with lots of tool to enhance the performance.

I also stumbled over a VideoTutorial (in french with somewhat helpful subtitles), but the tips and tricks there helped me to not having DCS crashed anymore and get a better overall experience in VR. Can you meanwhile confirm that a DCS crash does not occur during Headset raising, when OpenXR Turbomide is deactivated? Cant test atm.

Which VR Headset are you using? Or do those issue appear even in 2D?

Have we talked about your Specs already? What a System do you have? Apart of it, are you running Windows 10 or 11?

Have you guys played around with the OculusDebugTool? I assume you also have the Quest (2/3). If you have not yet played around with it I highly recommend doing so. I can tell you that this was a Game changer for me, a difference like day and night. The most important options to tweak there are the: - meta link App resolution settings: 72Hz Render resolution of at least 1.0x (4224 x 2272 (meta Quest 3 values)) Oculus DebugTool settings (to find in: C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics) - (PC) Asynchronous Spacewarp to set to Force 45fps, ASW disabled - Distortion Curvature to Low - Encode Resolution With to be lined up with your meta link App resolution setting, in my Case its 2272 - Encode Bitrate (Mbps): at least 500, can be set higher but to do that type the value on a Textfile and copy/paste into the field, I have it set to 500. - Link sharpening to normal Additional tweaking here would be the FOV-Tangent Multiplier to set to 0.7 on Horizontal and Vertical (be aware that this will crop your FoV on the outsides, but also will save Frames per second) Since I have changed these, I have no stutter, no Jitter, no distortions anymore and my GFX card is considered weak compared with the Cards from other guys with the meta Quest 3. Good to see that you've posted your Specs in the Signature. Are these still up to date? Check my Specs, I have the same Gfx card and also a Rift S, but my CPU is more powerfull and I have 64 GB of DDR 5 RAM. Thus I can fly DCS VR with the Rift S in max settings with a PD of 1.6. May be that'll sort your issue. When I was with 16 or 32 GBS, I had the same issues like those you report. ED should really start to care about the legacy issues instead of adding new features which is pushing the Hardware requirements to a level that only a handfull of people can enjoy DCS VR in good quality. I deeply hope they work on the insane VRAM issue in the background.

OK, I´ve tested it today again with all mods turned off and after I've ran a full slow repair. The overall result, after adjusting a few settings recommended by the ED Discord Log analyzer Bot, were good, but the still need to be tweaked to find the best result. But DCS still crashes when I dare to take off the Headset (Quest 3) for just a Moment (I have not even got it completely off from my head, just raised the Headset a bit, so that the image on my screen stopped). When I went back into the Sim, DCS stopped working and then has crashed. dcs.log DxDiag.txt

Hello, My new Meta Quest 3 works fine, but after a certain time I notice a Lag and then the Performance drops significantly. From there it either recovers or causes a Game Crash. where is it stored? I have the same Collective but never bothered with the firmaware as K51 mentioned not to touch it, so I dont know where to find this.

I was just testing the P47 in Trial and selected Bernay Saint Martin Airfield on the Normandy 2.0 Map. On lining up I suddenly crashed due to a step in the Mesh that broke my left wheel, images attached

Can I please get a detailed description of how to work with Repositories? No matter what I try, I can't get them to work and there´s no documentation on how to create them the Tutorial Video also just states how to add a URL, but the URL to my repository from OvGME does not work.

A bit late response, but what exactly are you about to do? You can rename the buttons to better identify them but you can not assign a button the function of another button. What do you want to fix there on the Warthog? You mean they are damaged and need to be replaced and you wonder if it effects the functions assigned in RS Mapper?

Thus he got his own Section in the F-15E Tutorial Series as well as his Channel has been added to the YouTube Favourites which one can find at the top of each page. Seeing now how the F-15E release happened, I wonder about a very specific point. Will you remain silent like RAZBAM did and reveal the release day with the actual EA release? I think that this is a bad move. At a certain point, it should be clear when a release seems obvious, why not communicate it then? I do not speak of months prior, but rather days or "2 weeks", but this time for real. Have you guys already discussed that? Will the unveil also mean release or can we expect another unknown period of time of silence after the unveil? Thanks -
Yeah, I know the background Story with the Phantom, I was very very disappointed when I learned that it was postpobed/canceled. Thats why I said last year that I'm extremely happy that HB took over the Project and make it not only their new Flagship Module but also having it served as Software Framework for future Modules, incl. Jester 2.0 which are all in all reasons to be extremely happy. I do not blame them for missing release Windows, but I'm a friend of meaningfull Communication. Thats why I made the above Statement which I mean to be a general Process (not only HB) as the Community wont get unnecesarrily hyped and then Disappointed like the Kiowa Drama (please refuse to act on that example, I also know the background with Polychop). I still believe that Dev Teams in general would have an easier life if their Products would be announced past QA Test and when a release date can be given. But I mentioned that way too often and it does not seem to care anyone, thus Dev Teams have to life with a hyped and mad Community if goals cant get reached as planned.
