  1. Sorry, but you completely missed my points. You treat me like the biggest yeller and complainer which I'm clearly not. Yes, I asked questions and recieved answers but there are others outside who really get mad atm. I'm just talking about solutions on making the life easier for the Devs and the Customers. I'm Member of the DCS Community since the very first LOMAC, thus I know how things are working. But expressing Ideas which are supposed to make things easier (whether they are good or not) and crying for a release date are completely different things imho. Personally I'm looking forward more for the unveil as I wont have much time to dig in deep into all the Systems, at least not this year.
  2. hmm, I don't necessarily see Dev's failures here as we all know that Software Development can be a PITA, especially with such a highly dynamic and evolving Platform which is DCS. I really raise my had for these guys who voluntarily do the Job where every update can break a lot of stuff which has been achieved. That encourages me, even more, to state for a radio silence to the Customer base. 3rd Party devs can for sure exchange Details among each other and ED, but without being public. I still believe that this would make much more sense and would help the Devs and the Customers. Production milestones can be shared post-release which would be an ontop cherry for the Customers.
  3. The Problem is on a different topic and that one is called, Communication. The F-4 was announced in 2021 to be available in 2022. This release timeframe, respectively the timeframe for the Unveil to happen has been approved by HB to happen in October 2022. Then things happened and a delay occurred which was explained by Cobra in a Reddit statement. Then it was mentioned that we will see the unveil (and thus the release shortly after) in early 2023 and again HB said that we don't have to wait yet another half a year which was mentioned end 2022 beginning 2023. Release plans and Reality always collide and they always accompany expectations on the Customer side. We always get the Information from Cobra that the Developing process is very close to being done and an unveil is around the next corner...and then, nothing except another newsletter in March 2023 which diverts from any "you´ll get it in your hands soon" Statements. And now tell me that impatience is Customer's fault The Problem is wrong Communication, and I´m very serious when I say now that I consider any kind of Communication wrong if it happens within a state of development where a release date can not be set. I really wish that ED and all 3rd Party devs would finally stop announcing Modules years before the release. We have lots to do and lots to learn and lots to fly on, we do not necessarily get to be teased and triggered with the next highly anticipated Module which is promised to be released within the next few months just to get disappointed once again. I wish we would get to hear the very first announcement of a module at a stage where a release is dependent on marketing and not Developer questions anymore, but no...we keep on getting teased with hope to sit in our Childhood dream Aircraft very soon whereas we are actually not because the release was once again delayed and Communication went silent by Dev teams to focus better on the work...why not be silent until the work is done and the Module ready to release?
  4. is it possible to get an idea about how soon will be soon?
  5. Mi-8 Multi Crew is planned but not on a high rank on ED´s priority list due to multiple Projects with higher priority. I can imagine that we will hear something about it past the Chinook release (OB)
  6. That was where I looked first but did not found the update on their Discord (I´m a member there since a while already), then I just found it on their Reddit, thx
  7. That's appreciated, but why is Cobra never posting those things here in the Forums? @jaguara5where did you find that?
  8. These type of speculations have never worked out yet and I'm sure they never will. At the end it comes down to, it's done when its done. But a little more communication would indeed be nice.
  9. yeah, they are right. They are so transparent, we don't really get to see anything
  10. Thanks, thats quite a useful step towards a well balanced Logistic System within DCS which will hopefully expanded more when the Chinook drops
  11. Damnit, haha...I'm not used to reddit but wondered why the likes look same like the Forums. OK, that was then a bit of a kidding myself...but this may help to spread the word even more.
  12. Link below from reddit, I havent seen the thread here in the Forums where it originally came from, but I leave it here now anyways.
  13. What I've learned about ED releases is that they look for a close release after announcement (within 1 year +- a few month). Third party devs on the other hand are different. They shouldn't announce anything until it is ready to be included in release cycle.
  14. I'm expecting it by the end of 2023 or beginning of 2024. Thats been the release dates of the Hind and the Apache in the past
  15. Thats my wish as well, announce Modules when they have passed all obstacles and are pretty much ready to release. That would easy down the Community a lot.
  16. That was what I was hoping for too. I didn't really expected to see the Phantom in 2022 anyways, but the unveilling would have been a kind action...too bad I think the way of announcing a module whereas its availability cant really be promissed or estimated and the release gets pushed back again and again or sudden silence kicks in for years, is not a good one. It would spare lots of stress for the DevTeams and keeps us away from postings thousands of senseless posts, if we'd get the announcement along with a solid and aproved releasedate. The modules we have so far keep us busy anyways and how do we say in germany...(I think its a good phrase): What the eye does not see, the heart does not grieve over. I think I would feel better if I wouldn't have known that my Childhood dream Jet will be available in DCS until it arrives for sure to a certain date.
  17. I dont know whether thery are laughing their asses, they know about their responsibilities but yeah, I know what you mean. I also know that the Phantom is in good hands with HB even though their Communication style is absolute underground. I mean they were praising a Reveal show scheduled late 2022...well, late 2022 is somethings like October...may be November...but December 19th is end of 2022 and not a single word about their reveal show...that bugs me the most. some bigger news would be nice tbh
  20. Does your issue still persist?
  21. thank you so much for your kind reply
  22. Hey there, how´s the Phantom Development coming along? I´m just curious about how well you guys proceed. Are you guys still on track for a full unveiling later this year? Absolutely can't wait anymore. This is my Childhood dream Aircraft and I´m so happy that you guys are developing the Phantom. The wait for the Tomcat so much paid out with a Top Notch and super beautiful Module, so I´m so much confident that the Phantom will get what she deserves and nothing less.
  23. Hey there, the link seems to be dead. Is there yet a chance to download your mod or are you no longer supporting it anymore?
  24. Thanks, I´ll contact him. His way to explain Stuff is outstanding Thanks, unfortunately I recieve very little to no feedback and almost no Tutorial suggestions, thus many Modules might lack important Tutorials as I have to look for them by my own. I can only encourage any Tutorial Author to send me your resources whether they may be as Video, pdf or other resource and I´ll add them to the respective Module page
  25. I´ve stumbled over a jewel of a Tutorial Series Collection covering the Mi-8, the Author is vsTerminus on YouTube. The Videos are around 2 years old already. Too bad I haven´t found them earlier. I can only beg you guys. If you have Tutorials that you want to share with others, please send me your resource links, and I´ll add them to my Website. http://www.dcs-tutorial-collection.de/contents/pages/Mi-8_seriescol.php
