I still didn't try any mp server with the F-14. What was the Altitude?, range?, location? aspect of the engagement? If they look for the mountains the engagement range will be real close and it will be difficult for the F-14. Try to pick your fights and try to lure them to play your game instead. Im no expert on the F-14 but I played with the M2K a lot against F-18 and I tried to never play their game (I was most of the time outnumbered) and when I did I knew I was going to lose. So I always tried to separete them and go for close range since the 530 has less range than the aim-120.

Why is this bug not fixed yet?

I used to set them at 10000 ft AGL and 7nm orbit. Invisible. Its been a very long time since I don't use them though.

I'm also struggling with this. The problem is when you add or reduce power you also change your AOA. Its not like the F-18 when you set the AOA the plane stays there almost for ever. In the F-14 its like you need to set the AOA with trim and throttle and then fly with the DLC up and down which also changes you AOA.

This is a very old bug (more than a year?) and makes the RWR almost useless. I don't know why this bug is still in the game. Using the radar warning in multiplayer is almost worthless.

I don't understand why there's still no option to change country sides in the ME after the mission is created.

The extarnal lights are very dim, you can't almost see them, even on bright

At around 300-340 knots you can do 40 AoA without much effort.

The switch is difficult to click because of the cover. Its difficult to move around the cockpit to see the switch to click it.

Its a really a nice feature but during long straight level flights it gets a little annoying when trying to focus or read the instruments. I guess we need to get used to it.

Replays are useless 90% of the time.

Having only 6+ Hornets in one side its unrealistic. No F-15 or A-10C for example. Having so little full fidelity aircrafts, the only way to "balance" the server would be having all the aircrafts available for each side which will also cause everyone to fly the F-18.

Having 6+ F-18 in one side is really a let down and its even unreal. I always go to the opposing side because this situation is really silly, but its really hard to fight in the M2K at medium and sometimes at close ranges against the F-18 with superior armament. At least the 120C is not permited.

That brings the question... can the AWG-9 see and track a cruise missile at 60nm? And an even further thinking..., can a phoenix be guided with the radar of another F-14 (at least irl)?

It would be nice to have the option to change seats between pilot-rio even if its another player occupying the slot, so you and your friend could change jobs midplay for whatever reason.

I didn't thought about this. It would be realy cool to have this feature, I use this on car racing games.

Its really annoying, and having the SA in the center display is not really a good option since it has a lot of information which needs to be seen quickly.

I want to asign a random TACAN, radio frequencies and ICLS to units every time the mission starts. Is it possible to do this with a script? Thanks.

Of course, I didn't thought about old big planes. Against modern fighters I guess stt is more effective (than TWS) at closer ranges.

The manual says that in PD STT the AIM-54 has more range (about +10nm) than TWS because it receives more imput corrections. Since STT will alert the enemy of the missile launch and it may start maneuver defensively earlier. Wouldn't this be counterproductive?

Oh it would be awesome, but I'm sure not possible.
