  1. hey. im trying to understand how to employ flood mode.. im getting different ways to send sparrow to flood but key is employing by either: Pilot & Jester going into cage mode (by way of throttle buttton) and having a injected keybind for the WSO aspect knob or Pilot & Human WSO with WSO setting RADAR to BST mode and working aspect knob. i see some youtubers setting the pilot HUD / DSCG in CAGE or A/A mode I guess the pilot INLK switch should be turned OFF. Seems most ppl have successful kill with the aspect knob in NOSE thoughts , suggestions?

  5. after doorgun discussions in the UH1H and MI8MT2 threads, it was discovered that the huey Ai doorgunners can slew / traverse the doorgun at angles great then the angles allows as a player controlled doorgun please dont limit the player controlled doorguns
  6. question, how do you setup Antenna Hand control slew? i just binded to my joystick.. but it behaves way different than the WCS AWG-9 tomcat radar.... im used to the slew gates returning to center.. but it doesnt do that in the APQ120 radar.... what am i doing wrong?
  7. ahh ok, understood im more about the functionality than the gunner model. if Ai has a wider traverse limit, i would like to have as a player also, i fly with the pilot body off anyways. but i guess its up to devs! thank you for reply!
  8. @Flappie i didnt know you did this much research on the huey door gun pintle swivel! so basically no additional range for the huey doorgun? i dont even see the pilot / gunner body for the huey to even worry about passing hard points.. particularly in VR.. but yes, i do see the mi8 pilot/gunner body...
  9. its not that it is messed up.. but the export of no suspension compression is not in the huey like the other DCS helos. my motion platform was working ok in the last update

  11. i found out that my problem was caused by the openXR motion compensation utility. the parameter for openXR config file, physical tracker needed to be set to 0 (disabled) after this, i can see both virtual hands!

  17. im looking to make a custom gazelle livery. i never done skins at all... how can go about making a gazelle skin? at least what is most ppl using to work off of for a paintkit or template? i just joined the livery art group discord to start my skin adventures. if anyone has a template or can share what it is that most ppl work off of for gazelle skin, please share

  21. im just now seeing this... wow! amazing! hows it work for you in the game? my build works for UH1H, Mi24, Mi8, adjusting the axis tune parameter "y saturation" to my liking.. it works for SA342 gazelle.. but it has a limited slew range
  22. I only see my right virtual hand in the DCS hangar environment my left hand doesnt appear), but when i click to meta quest home environment, i can see both hands... what am i doing wrong,
  23. radar to oper mode knob to air to ground radar range to 10 miles. navigation computer with advance and drag coefficient set i am not sure what to look for in the dscg when set the rec gain knobs to minimum, and where should the antenna hand control acquisition gates should be slew to?
  24. me and friend did a multicrew play test this weekend. i selected SA342 minigun as pilot. my friend request to join as instructor (copilot) i confirm request to join. we both successfully start in SA342 minigun variant and perform startup. my friend the instructor (copilot) request control to fly, and i accept the request. my friend the instructor (copilot) successfully takes control of helicopter and flies around. myself as pilot press keyboard 3 to move over to gunner position.... copilot experiences crash to desktop.
