finally got around to making a video. i agree that there are unwanted telemetry spikes on the carrier deck i had to use spike filters through the FlyPT mover software -

i dont know i just notice that the compass rose turret representation does not match the 3d asset turret... but i do see that it matches the mounted machine gun. i dont believe that the DCS combined arms is multicrew but would be nice if the compass rose had an additional point / representation for the machine gun that is separate to the turret?

last night i jumped on the f14 rearm menu, and saw there was MK339 and FMU140.. for both Mk20 and CBU99 I saw an air burst function for FMU140... MK 339 had PRI OPT timing just a matter to play around and try out settings... have to find some time to experiment. would be nice to know how it functions as of this date, since most ref seem to be old.. note to self.. NOSE only fusing -

i will but before i can do that.. what is the ideal setup procedure to use Mk20 / CBU99? so far they say set to NOSE as mech fuse... and the appropriate weapon selection , i.e. MK20A with the recent patch a few months ago, when all the fusing options was introduced.. im not sure what is the way... also, for delivery, i think most say u need at least fly 400 knots at release.. so can i start with that, what should i prep in the jet for cluster munitions? also ideal delivery mode (ccrp ccip) at what altitude and speed? -

i just experienced this yesterday evening... i did a CCRP (cmptr tgt) drop and a CCIP (cmptr plt) drop using Cluster munition, and it was way short flying the tomcat.. -

it didnt work for me (throttle to idle) for both keyboard and binded to joystick in the training L39 start up taxi take off... but it works in instant action cold start...

yes that is what i like to do, have an Ai wingman of another heli type follow me around, and i would give it orders via the F10 radio menu... i hope my mission is simple, requiring me to order the Ai to take out the front and back tanks (everything else are soft targets) you have a link to your missions? last night i started to build my mission, added a convoy and an Ai OH58, only question i have about this is, how do i get the heli to continue to engage the convoy after the first shack? all the vehicles just scatter and stop after the last truck got destroyed... -
ok, i revisited the L39C controls. when i go to instant action cold start caucasus, i am able to press the throttle to idle button mapping, see the throttle move to idle, and then use my hotas to move the throttle. HOWEVER, in the L39 DCS Training, both the throttle to idle command and throttle axis do NOT do anything... @Flappie how are u!

im having trouble doing the DLSS4 tweak. when i add DCS to DLSS swapper, i get a message saying that dcs.exe will be overwritten for bin and bin-mt and when i try to search for dcs.exe in the nvidia profile inspector, it doesnt find and instances of dcs.exe... advice please! note, i did not install the nvidia app, only the drivers.. is the app necessary?

@[HOUNDS] CptTrips thanks for a moment to reply ill check out. all i like to do is just send a Ai wingman helo to take out the tanks or apc, so that i can fly my doorgunner to finish off all the soft targets.. let see where my rabbit hole brings me! -
im looking to make a mission for a player controlled huey, to employ a human doorgunner. at moment this is an intercept an enemy convoy, that is escorted by armor. since huey isnt great at engaging armored threats, i would like to make mission using Ai wingman, perhaps a anti tank capable heli like gazelle kiowa or apache.. i never made a mission before to use Ai wing man... any tips? at moment i need info on setting up convoys and Ai wingman (not sure if they have to be same type of aircraft)

i am not using warthog, and i just encountered old threads about this issue, something about moving throttle to full stop and triggering the stop engine command.. IF i am NOT a warthog user, can u specifiy what i should map for controls and axises? i only mapped the throttle axis and the move to idle command... im not sure if the move to stop has significance in this issue...

Yesterday I decided fire up the L39C doing the cold start training in dcs Cleared all joystick bindings. Mapped my throttle axis to joystick as slider. Also mapped set throttle to idle But the in game virtual throttle does not move, nor does it show movement in show controls indicator. Also when training asks me to set throttle to idle, nothing happens, ralt + home does nothing and the mapped joystick button for throttle to idle no worky also...
