    Seems != know. Unwilling JTAC not cooperating with you, not RAZBAMs problem. Workarounds only create more workload overall and make existing problems seem less problematic. Neither of the two qualities is something we should want I guess. :D

    You provided a Solution to something which is the correct behaviour for a Simulator. If you are not an software specialist, how can you determine what is easier to implement.
  5. It doesnt seem to have a that low refresh rate like the f14. But as you see, symbology is very non standard ! :D
  6. I would guess DCS simply doesnt have the RADAR model atm. Zeus said before he would do what is possible after conversation with ED. But would be indeed be interesting why. :) Bc' I am only speculating.

    That is simply not correct, the mission designer can set both JTAC laser code and mirage laser code. Its simply the mission designer who didnt do that. So its far from useless. And after all, getting a friendly A10c to laze is easier and actually more realistic in many scenarios. IRL 2000n do it for the 2000c iirc. Most realistic is you cant adjust it inflight, JTAC is able to do it. DCS is a simulator. I am fine with stuff like the d2m, which was an catalog option in terms of if you wannted to buy one back then, you could have it. I am remotely fine with having modifications like the quad magics. But something which is just not possible like gbu12 in flight lasercode change from a plane that doesnt even know its carrying LGBs, noo :D to much for me. But having an option in the kneeboard or something else to change it while on the ground, perfectly fine with me.
  8. 1.5 especially is not even using my 1080 up to 50% in many scenarios while putting out less then maximum FPS my panel supports, so well, I would say the DCS engine is to blame and not a module with high res textures and high poly count.
  9. There were huge DPC problems in some combinations, but it got better from version to version. But 2.5 should solve that.

  11. I am not sure about the mirages FM, I dunno about low speed turnrate accuracy, but for DM I actually consider at least the Eagle too fragile. I mean hydraulics failing from a few rifle hits just happens way to often. Same as with missiles, someone has to start doing the right thing. :D And unless I discover, that the Mirage can take missile hits without severe and mostly fatal damage, I would say its really the other planes which need to be worked on, and honestly with the 2.5 damage model rework that would probably be an good Idea. And until F15 and Su27 do not take damage from runway craters I am not taking their DM serious anyways.... I mean even the Mig29 crashes from that. :D
  12. I dunno how old the footage is, but that has to be horrible desync if its recent. I did sometestint already with a friend just for the RWR. Shot AIM120s at him. 4 Hits, 4 times pilot dead. It really depends where you get hit, but you are combat ineffective unless someone is so bold and goes in front of a plane which even if its falling to earth still has operational guns and fox2s. I mean you loose Radar EVERYTIME you get hit, RWR as well, additional to that you loose about 70% of the Engine performance if you get hit anywhere near engine parts. But as said, I will test. I think its really just bad memories in combination with terrible DCS multiplayer backbone, blaming the mirage DM for DCS issues. But hey, I just could be worlds unluckiest Mirage driver who knows.
  13. Can I please have that DM ? Don't test against AI ! But know what, I am just going to do test tomorrow player vs player and publish the track. I am flying the mirage only since the last damage model iteration. And I never had that luck many of you describe. So I think it's mainly memories in combination with DCS multiplayer things that leads to that. But hey maybe I am wrong test will show.

  17. LNS isnt going for early access but for direct release as they said to minimize resources needed for post release reworks. So yeah happy to wait until its ready ! :D

  19. Maybee because BK90 has a radar altimeter and that only works up to 500m ? But the graphs given should make range calcs from other altitudes doable. Kinda surprised expected 10km at 50m at mach 0.9. Thats the info I had so far, but well, not going to argue with the Manual, I guess. :D But I didnt see how to target it, so it could well be that the range in the graphs is for turn up to N degrees on final for release heading and the 10km is the range at which it will stall with given params. Would seem reasonable with 7.2km max range. Will be interesting to employ. 100m at 7.2 km is kinda dangerous at M0.9 for engaging any serious SAM systems. Question will probably be, how low you can release the thing. 20m at 4-5km seem way more attractive to me in that case. Question there is not really the range but, how low can you go, without getting into tunguska gun range. ;) Its indeed pretty complicated and HELL is it an complicated plane for early 1970s.

Viggen has been leaked by Steam pretty much. I do not think its a PR method. I think its a method to stop people from hyping the shit out of stuff and getting frustrated with it it not beeing released, while they think it _should_ be ready, because with their non software developer view they dont have a clue how ready something really is. I enjoy it, that way we dont have that many people DOS the usefull information flow here. :D

  23. Not officially branded as update but there was better info from some Devs then some official updates imho. And with not worth updating I meant, there is no point in putting a "we are coding" update after a "we are coding" update. :)
