Operation "Blue Flag" - 24/7 PvP Campaign - ROUND 8

Yeah beslan is still missing the mi8 slot. For defending the taken Airfields we have the same situation with f5e against su27. -

I cant make a statement about the f15s rigidness and I will not speculate about that, since I simply do not know enough about the 15. The mirage 2000 is according to everything I know of how it behaves irl fine FM wise, also it doesnt break with my knowledge of math and physics. OFC you can switch the FBW gain controll to fixed and then it will do some seriously phyisx stuff. But the same is the case with the su27, you simply cant model theese edgecases of unstable flight conditions without having the computational requirement which exceeds every single one of our machines no matter how overkill they are. The su33 meanwhile is lightyears away from its obvious brother the su27 in terms of aerodynamics in this simulation, misses things like stalling nearly completely and I mean honestly its just very arcady. I do not mind broken edgecases with limiter switched off here either, but normal flight is already spaceship level. It does not even stall the engines if you are at beyond ridicoulous AoA and should be stalling. Meanwhile if you stretch the mirages envelope to much the engine simply stalls and you are falling out off the sky like the unstable piece of metal you were without your FBW computer. Also the mirage 2000 is in beta and is getting fixes every week as long as ED does patch and doesnt screw up. I didnt see an su33 patch in approx. 300 years. There is the major difference I do see between the su33 and mirage. While the mirage FM might not be perfect, its solid by everything I do know. The Su33 SFM is simple spaceship. I do not even need to know how it should perform, it is simply breaking physix atm. And while the mirage is sitting there beeing worked on the su33 didnt receive a big patch, nor is there constant contact with ED about its flight behaviour to my knowledge. On the other hand the mig29 got a new external model so is obviously getting worked on and is imho not as borderline ridicoulous as the su33 behaviour. In the end I would be fine if both mirage and mig29 got removed for beeing a lil broken in some aspects. But due to my observations the su33 is simply overall on a whole different level then "lil broken". :D If you do think the mirage 2000 is as broken as the su33 atm, please provide sources and or scientific reasons why you think so. -

If its FM wasnt the way it is, I would be all for it. But with the FM it has atm its simply spaceship. :D -
Its supposed to be somewhere on a mass storage device in sweden. :detective_2: Looking forward to the playstyle of the Viggen. ATM I am flying in blue flag with a mirage with rocket pods and bombs. And its great. Looking forwrad to do that in the Viggen ! :D
-
BTW, why is the mirage heading different from the f10map headings ? Which heading is what. :D
-
If you mean multiple ejection racks and or rocket pods you can only jetison those with the emergency jetinson.

I wished we had any discussion in bluefor HQ. XD But yeah pak3 is really important for redfor, that is correct. -
Interesting, didnt know that. I mean You do only reach mach 1.15 or something with 4 mk82s only, with any reasonable a2g setup you do not reach over mach 1.05 anyways, so it should be no big deal GS wise to stick to subsonic launches.
-
Agreed, do you mean supersonic at all with bombs or supersonic without AB and bombs ? Would expect the latter to be the case. Or wont we be able to make it above mach 1 with bombs and full AB ?
-
ouhh yis. Anything about rb05 and BK90/DWS39 will be received by me like a sponge. :D

:megalol::megalol::megalol::megalol: :DD And the CCIP pipper is also broken, no A/G pipper for the guns, no launch warnings etc. etc. etc.. :DD So yeah its more banterous then really breaking. :D -

Somehow not sorry since it only had half its armament the last week. But I get the pain with the russian RWR. xDD But honestly its not RAZBAMs fault, ED messed up. Razbam is really fast at bug extermination. EDs patch cycle is the biggest thing stopping the mirage from not beeing broken. -

I do not conceive it as a war it is an discussion, an exchange of info and interpretation of observations. You can declare a discussion as war if its against an obviously flawed thing like chemtrails but I would not consider our discussion here "a war to be won". And please, if you start a conversation, you have to expect an honest answer. And if the issue is missinterpretation, the solution should be more info, since more info is, if read with a constant interest in understanding the point, makes the probability of missinterpretation smaller. Last time: I am not making a point that numbers arent a problem. And yes defense in that case is easier, but if we are at 2:1 or 3:1 that shouldnt be a problem either. Ah kay, since you didnt specify that you meant that you face the same subset of problems I thought you meant you face [all] the same problems. Well I wouls say anyway that we face different problems which lead to similar outcomes. :D Fighting as a team is allways fun. Outcome doesnt matter. 'would be redfor if the people i like to fly with werent bluefor. If the next round ist split framesets again I will be flying red. Even if you do not have glorious mirage. I miss muh KA50 and mi8. uh1 is simply meh performance wise and gazelle is only fun for so long. :D [And mirage has broken CCIP pipper, which is ultra meh.] I noticed that you did, I did just did make a small joke. -

I doubt its the KA50s fault. Its true that mi8 + ka50 is a way better kombo then an uh1+342m but on the other hand we have the mirage and a10c. So yee. I think the plane setup is fine. The only thing I do not get is the ka50 intel capture but, well its not breaking stuff that hard that it annoys me. I wouldnt neither say everyone on red is experienced, random ka50 pilots getting shot down by stationary chaparals, I am looking at you. But I would say something about experience and or teamwork works better on red then blue for sure. :D -

See my other lengthy post about the first paragraph. For the second. We are trying. If you tell us why we are failing at this we could possibly win this round. xD -

You often claim I am saying the inbalance in player numbers is okay. I do not. And I do not know how often I do have to stress this. I do say I would have more fun beeing outnumbered with a small group of communicating people, tblisi defence was one of the best things on blueflag for me, then the clusterF on bluefor atm. :D Pls give me a literate interpretation where I did rationalize it and claimed that redfor has less problems or pull your statement. I hate it when people claim I say something I never intended to say neither I can find that I did say something like that while rereading my post. I did even say a fight we should easily win due to the numbers but dont due to the terrible orga. If you had as terrible orga and experience issues as bluefor you should have lost by now by logic. A la two forces of equal quality and equal organisation meet each other, the stronger should win by logic. So I make the claim that your interpretation of the conditions are the same on both sides is incorrect. And I dont know how you can make the statement blue cant know how redfor life is but redfor can how bluefor is, since you said its the same. So atm you are pointing the finger at bluefor as well, by saying bluefor is pointing fingers at redfor. :D Lots of pointers here, I like pointers but that is normally in C. [Manual memory management FTW] I just said its a terrible experience. I didnt say redfor is a compelte different story with the frustration. :D What is in my scope different that on average I see more people on redfor that I respect as good pilots then on bluefor. I mean that observation can be broken due to my perception of pilot skill. And possibly due to my timeframe scope. But I think thats the only reason redfor isnt loosing hardcore and we tend to have a situation where neither of the sides can achieve and hold a gain on teritory. Thats everything I wanted to say. Not that that is good, fun, great, desireable, sustainable. It was just an observation and report of my experience of round 8 so far. :D I mean sometimes I am not sure if I am terrible at writing or people are terrible at text interpretation. But since there is no literate proof of me beeing terrible at writing since people dont seem to catch my point, I cant proof that myself very well. So I am waiting to be proven a terrible author or will keep saying peoplz plox read me posts and question yourself if I am really making the point you think I am making ! Or prove my terrible writing. Something like that. :D Oh and btw, I will have to inform the party about your wastefull utilisation of tu22m3s, comred. ))) Theese things arent cheap ! ;P Dont call them if you do not have a transport heli at all. :D -
The stall in this thread is real it seems like everything has been said we are prepared as good as possible and now we are sitting here waiting for the release. :D

Operation "Blue Flag" - 24/7 PvP Campaign - ROUND 8
microvax replied to gregzagk's topic in Multiplayer
Dunno about squadrons but i can agree round 6 and 7 were way more fun simply due to the fact that we had a working gorup, at least kinda working group, going. Round 8 is the biggest cluster F since I joined round 6. The testing for round 8 was fun, not because blue had the upper hand but because we had working large scale operations. I do not care about the outcome that much, if the coordination worked I do not care. Try harder. But if there is cluster F all over the place AND it doesnt work, omg the frustration is real. :DD Edit: Might it be possible to get a list of who is on which frequency on SRS ? That would be really helpfull in case of GCI. Sometimes you simply dont know if people arent there, arent on that freq, arent listening or whatevar. Isnt really "realistic" but it would be appreciated if possible. -

... yeah... experience of outnumbering red 2:1 yesterday. A mirage which first shoots down our A10c striking a farp, which was at least not terrible, tbh for a pilot not speaking in TS he was pretty good spotting a ka50 around the farp etc.. After that shooting our only f15 CAP in the west, so he had to go defensive while merged with ai mig29. On just telling him to use if he is like there were no friendlies. Someone who volunteered to do GCI after I was simply to freakin tired to take the frustration of not beeing able to do anything. Just freakin left without saying anything, literally 3 min after he said he is going to do it. Gazelles that are freakin hovering more then 50m above the ground for no good reason. And mainly just a terrible lack of a constant of CAP that can do shit. We never have that constant of at least some people in fighters online which can do shit. And its simply annoying as hell. I dont say all theese people are terrible pilots I dont know them mostly, dont know if they are just new to the frame or whatevar. But what I can definetly say there are soooo many unexperienced people who often make the majority of CAP in the area... Its literally feeling like you are kirk in the wrath of Khan if you doo GCI for blue at theese times. You technically have a great ship, you should beat the enemy no problem, thing is you have a freaggin crew of rookies, with practically zero experience. And the amount of experienced crew is just barely able to pull a victory if you want to call the end of wrath of Khan a victory. :D EDIT: IF someone is going to interpret this post as complaining: A: It is not B: It is not. I am just describing that pretty tragic experience of feeling powerless to coordinate the people you have to pull of a win on teritory. :D -
HOW CAN YOU DROP SINGLE GBU12s without the CCRP pipper o.o. Me wants ! I do bombing runs at 60k ft at mach 1.1, but I allways have to do the annoying pitch down to get the pipper to work........ And even that only has 15km slant range.
