  1. I was just trying to host a sever for my guys to fly on and a msg came up that I had changed my PC. I had not changed a thing but I still have to burn a activation and I am all out. :helpsmilie:
  2. You will probly never need a INU fix point as the majorty of players arnt willing to fly far enough to need one. I have flowen over 150 klominters and had no problems with navagation error's.
  3. OFP2 rockets work very well on them. Get some good secondarys too
  4. No upgrades are cheap.
  5. looks good
  6. grant977 DCS max will not put BS on all 4 cores in XP, it will default to core 0. Core 0 is the core that runs your operating system. what I do in set BD to run on core 3 and make sure nuthing els is using core 3. this make my system more stable and gives me 10FPS more. even with XP. Now with my same setup in WIN 7 64 I get 60+ FPS. It is sad that XP can't take advantadge of the cores and ram in the PC's we build. Your bigist problem is your low mh CPU as BS is a cpu hog.
  7. I have a S&D mission that if you fly low you will die. To search for a unknown target in a area you will need to gsain some alt. to search at longer distance. I fly MP only with my groop so I have guys to spot launches wile I or another pilot scouts for targets. The mission I have has the targets located in a opening in a grove of trees. Due to the ground angel and tree line you wont see the target area untill you are almost over it when at low alt. But If you take a high lvl search you will see it at a much longer range.
  8. A#1 sim in the world. ED did a great job.
  9. if you push the rudder peddel to the left the choper shuld turn left. Best example is in a hover.
  10. This is one of the main draw backs to DCS BS right now along with the ME not having a sat view for placment of objects. alot of us ar hoping thes things are fixed ith the releas of A10c and its updated game engin.
  11. nice post good info
  12. I thing the FF is the main culpret to the problems that most new pilots have in this sim. When you trim with a FF stick the stick will stay put but a non FF stick will move back to the middle. If FF is enabled and you have a non FF stick when you move the stick back to the middle the game thinks you are trying to manuver. with FF off after hitting the trim you return the stick to the cinter position and the KA-50 shuld hold the trimed position. their is some error in the trim and that is something you have to get use to and compensate for. Just learn what it does and how to fix and keep doing it the same way.
  13. Freetrack took me a little to set up ut it works great and I don't think I culd fly with out it. Head tracking in the helo is a big plus. you need to be able to swing your head around fast for gitting a refranc points in hovering and landing. One of my mercenarie pilots finly got his FT working right and he is a difrint pilot now smoth and has much better SA. As for the flying and bucking around, It's just gitting flight time I have over 500hs of online flight time. But when I first started I had the same problems you are having bouncing yawing allover the place. there are thing you are doing wrong and don't even know it. Make sure you read the manual dont just learn enough to blow things up there is so much to learn in this choper that will help you in flying and employing weapon system's :book: And one other thing if you dont have a forc feed back stick you need to turn off the FF in a Lua file. I am thinking this is your problem with the trim. (DO NOT EDIT Lua FILES WITH OUT USING NP++ you can crupt the files)
  14. I think we will get our update in Dec. holding breath till then
  15. I have the same problem with Win 7 I play missions in win 7 and take the tracks to record in XP I get better FPS recording in XP due to rame and CPU are not taken up so much

  17. :punk:sweeet

  20. I am running a XFi gammer PCI with Win 7 64bit build 7100 and it sounds better than it does with my XP running on same system. Win 7 allows the full pontichel of the XFi card to be used. I would say save the mone and just run the one you have untill you do some more recherch or save up money and buy a PCI-E sound card. I would just stick with sound blaster if you buy another card.
  21. Pleas add a track file so we can see what you are doing.
