Thanks for the update. What are the multiplayer fixes? Can we expect better sync when multi-seating (especially the Viviane)? Yeah it's a workaround. Would prefer the devs could just enable it on for all variants. Or even have it as a special option. Yup - never had any issues with it thus far.

Multi-crew Auto-hover Slave fails to engage on it's second activation.

This seems to still be an issue. Unable to engage slave mode after having successfully used it beforehand. -

Still unable to dual-up in the Gazelle. I've seen others reporting this issue too. Hopefully you can find out what's causing this. -

I do this in the Huey all the time. It's the Load/Unload Troops option (F1) which picks up already deployed units, not the MANPAD option (F4). Obviously, you need to be close enough to them. -

I've never had so much fun in DCS than since 2.5 OB dropped. Sure there are some annoying bugs, but they're not actually game breaking are they? For sure they're a nuisance (in particular the DS night lighting) but the game is still perfectly playable. IMHO, releasing the game in this state - even if they did know about these bugs (which they may well have done) - is perfectly reasonable. I don't think it's a question about pressure to push the game out at whatever cost. Releasing as an OB, with no serious game breaking bugs, allows us to enjoy what's been developed thus far and affords us the opportunity to provide feedback on other issues that may have thus far gone completely unseen. This is a benefit for all of us.

Is multi-crewing in the Gazelle somehow disabled? Tried to hop into one last night with a buddy, but was unable to get into the copilot seat. -

Anyone? I really don't want to waste time and crates dropping off a JTAC if he's going to do nothing for the team. So any advice is appreciated. -

Great fun on the 104th tonight. Well, except for one friendly in a Huey taking pot shots at my Huey (thanks for your help there Mustang). Thanks to whoever it was for the Airwolf theme to spur my spirits as I raced over to Kutaisi to drop off troops for the capture. Just as I was coming in to land I genuinely had a little panic that I may have forgotten to load troops. That would have been embarrassing! Thankfully, I had some! I have a question regarding the CTLD JTAC crates. Where must be drop them? Do they need to be dropped and unpacked in sight of the enemy? Or can they be delivered a bit further out and somehow they'll saunter on over to the enemy and start their lasing and whatnot? Thanks in advance for the advice, and for the fun server. -
I'm sure whatever you serve there'll be a fair amount of whine. :music_whistling: :lol:

Good luck with that. For sure it's great fun in the Gazelle with a buddy. Just bear in mind that the multi crew functionality is still incomplete and suffers from some annoying bugs. In particular, the camera view that the gunner sees will be slightly out of sync with what the pilot can see. The pilot's view seems to be the one that's usually correct. So when I'm flying with a buddy (I usually do the missiles) I'll get the camera roughly on target then ask the pilot to confirm whether it's a good lineup from his perspective (and realign if necessary). Teamwork. Also the gunner manages the radios in multicrew but that's broken too, because the frequencies don't match between gunner and pilot, and the pilot's is (apparently) the one that needs to be correct .. but he can't manage the radios with a buddy in too. Lots more issues with multicrew, but still it's good fun. Looking forward to seeing lots more development of this feature because it does make the Gazelle stand out as having great potential. If only the Huey had it!

Nothing specifically to do with 104th's mission. Seems that post-2.5 the permission feature isn't working on the Gazelle. Not sure about other dual seat modules though (I don't have them). -
Will this affect multiplayer? Also - devs should fix problems with the product .. not the customers. Edit: apologies .. didn't mean to appear ungrateful there. Your help is appreciated. But hopefully also the Devs will address this issue so all players can benefit without having to hack the texture files.

Looks like the marker police were out in force that night then! :lol: For sure in future I'll try to steer well clear of taxiways to lessen the chance of this happening again. But yeah, regarding crates ... should they be deployed at airfields, or at other locations? Your post seemed to imply that airfields are not a suitable location for them. -

That was my bad. From my perspective when I dropped the crates they were on the grass, not the taxiway. Someone did place a marker to warn of the (invisible) EWR but the markers don't seem to last long. I recall I did discuss this with you on in-game chat. Or .. if the EWRs aren't supposed to be placed at airfields then where should they be? Please advise so I can do a better job in future! -
I'm using the same button the the Warthog HOTAS and I'm struggling with this too. It just seems that it's a difficult button to depress cleanly (twice), without one of the directional buttons being triggered instead. Will probably move it to another button.

Can't get NVG to turn on in 2.5, on any variant. On/off and gain up/down are mapped (default keys). Anyone else experiencing this?

Is this going to get fixed? In some lighting conditions it's impossible to see through the windows, making this module effectively useless.
