Some time ago I saw this thread and I exported my left and right MPCDs to my other monitor. I don't want to export the screens any more, but for some reason I can't disable the export. The following lines are commented out in the MPCDL/MPCDR.LUA respectively: --try_find_assigned_viewport("RIGHT_MFCD") --try_find_assigned_viewport("LEFT_MFCD") Yet each time I start up the AV8B, as soon as turn on an MPCD it exports a copy on top of my main window. I then have to toggle the [Left MPCD view export on/off] and [Right MPCD view export on/off] commands to turn off the export. How do I permanently prevent the MPCDs from exporting? (I'm probably missing something completely obvious but thanks in advance for any advice).

Server is currently running Op Armageddon (Caucasus). Briefing says for Blue UH-1 to take off from FARP and go to the blue smoke for FOB crates. I can't find any blue smoke! Anyone got any idea where the crates are? :huh:

Doesn't seem so. My other modules are fine, but most (not all .. strangely) of my F/A-18 binds were zapped. Could have done with a warning in the changelog so we could back up prior to update, but hey, they don't even provide an accurate changelog anyway.

Good question. I PM'd the guy that posted the ED update and he replied that when (if) ED are told of any changes, he'll add them to the changelog. This would seem to indicate that communication between 3rd party devs and ED is .... limited.

Hi Is there any way to reduce the volume of the sidewinder growl tone? I can't see anything in the cockpit that allows this. I'm wondering if there's a lua file somewhere where this can be changed. I don't want to change any in-game volumes (helmet, world etc) because I've got them pretty much just as I like them. I just find the sidey growl too loud, especially when communicating on TS or SRS.

You can turn down the 'helmet' volume in audio options. We told you this in game.

Is the LotATC licencing client or server side? i.e. are your hosting floating licences, or do GCIs need to purchase their own client licence?

I'm sometimes finding that even after pressing POS again for the Easting it doesn't register, and I need to press POS a further time in order to proceed.

I've experienced this too, but I assumed it was just a WIP issue, since the CCRP does seem incomplete (e.g. steering cue reversed).

@Maverick .. Are tooltips disabled for a reason, or is it an oversight? For the 7 billion of us who don't speak Russian it's handy to have tooltips in the Mig-21! :music_whistling:

Plenty use voice activation, because it's quite common to hear people issuing Voice Attack commands with open mic on SRS. Whether it's appreciated by the other's who are connected is another thing! (I find it mildly annoying but it's not for me to tell someone how to have fun).

You make a fair point. However the onus should be on the developer to inform ED if something their module is reliant upon is malfunctioning due to ED content. It's not for the customer to determine whether something is ED or the 3rd-party dev's responsibility.

There are some RAF skins available in the user files area. Would be great to have a real RAF variant, but until such a thing exists all I do is drink more tea (or Pimms, depending on the weather) and say "tally ho" a lot. Works for me. :pilotfly:

Depending upon what HOTAS you're using you could try assigning 'bands' to the mini-stick to simulate axes. If you need more help perhaps post up in the Input & Output forum.

Yup - confirmed. No thermal image at night. Just ran a mission, and also yours, and for sure after the cooldown there is no thermal image.

Yup. I just hopped onto the 104th and fired up a Gazelle: No sound, but you can see me clicking between TV and IR and you'll see the IR gradually improve as it cools down. Perhaps you could do a repair? Disable any mods first if you have any.
