  1. Yup here too. I heard my buddy's APU and he heard mine but we were both sitting cold and dark.
  2. I wonder if any of TDC axis can be modded for now (until, hopefully, it's added formally). Any LUA experts out there can advise?
  3. Thank you Pat!
  4. You indicated in a previous post that you never got access to 2.5(.1 ?) before it was released therefore had no idea that the Viviane camera would break. So from a Polychop perspective that's fine and you don't deserve any criticism for that - it's not your fault. So is this actually a problem between the 3rd party devs and ED? What's the point of you committing code for a release that you're not actually going to see until the rest of us do? Ultimately this reflects badly on 3rd parties and ED, and would seem avoidable with a little more cooperation and communication. Looking forward to the fix, and thanks for your work so far.
  5. I'm sure there will be a perfectly good reason why the broken primary feature of the main variant of this non-beta module has not been fixed. Hopefully Polychop will enlighten us!
  6. No mention of this fix in today's changelog. Poly - can you confirm the fix did make it in please?
  7. Steady on Captain Happy. You can tell by his post count he's a forum newcomer, so perhaps cut some slack and be a little less abrupt. Courtesy comes at no cost.
  8. They moved out of beta with a key component of what is arguably the primary Gazelle variant broken. Embarrassing for them, and frustrating for us, but hopefully a fix will be available soon. What I don't understand is why, when fixes etc are committed by 3rd part devs, are we still made to wait for them by ED. Why can't the ED Updater be more active in getting updates to us .. particularly if it's content specifically module related and not core-DCS. Clearly such delays aren't for quality control. For example, the issue with the DMT on the AV-8B. Broken in 2.5.1. Fix identified by dev. Great - release it! But no, we must wait for ED.
  9. You're completely missing the point, but that's ok. There's plenty to enjoy with this module, I was just asking for a slight improvement to help with what is actually occurring in game, regardless of real life. Anyway, as I said, my question was for the developer, whom you do not represent, so I'll just leave it at that. Cheers.
  10. There's a scoreboard and people are (generally) having fun. So it's a game. In other threads discussing this you'd see that in fact some people don't feel confident editing files. Anyway I don't want to get into a pointless argument with you. The question I'm asking is directed at the developer, not you. Cheers though.
  11. Thanks for the link. Seen it already. It's irrelevant. They've taken of artistic license elsewhere in the module so why not with NVG. We have many servers with night missions and all 3 Gazelles. Players want to fly them, but they cannot unless they're confident editing their files. So the 'real life' argument is just dodging the issue. This isn't real life. It's a video game.
  12. Not mentioned in the changelog is some multicrew specific fixes, such as the ADF frequency not syncing between players, and audio/graphical jittering (rotor, Viviane). Have you fixed them too? Thanks for the update and your continued efforts.
  13. What exactly is the problem with allowing the NVG in all variants? You seem fairly resistant to what would seem to be a trivial change. It would enhance QOL and enjoyment for many players, especially those who are unfamiliar with LUA editing.
  14. They YT videos were created before an update to the module, which changed the DMT from greyscale to green.
  15. Thanks Scarecrow. I'll try that when I get home. Does the aspect ratio look correct or should I revert to the 3.5 it originally set itself to?
  16. Hi I'm struggling to get my MFCDs and CDU exported to my right-hand monitor. I have 2 1920x1080 screens. I'm using the old HawgTouch software to manipulate the MFCDs and CDU. It's years since I used this setup and I lost my previous working configs. When I fire up the game, I'm getting the UI occupying the left half of the left monitor instead of the full screen, and at a really low res. It's unusable - I can't even see the Quit option (need to kill the process). I'm assuming it's an aspect ratio issue but I'm unsure what it should be. When I selected the 3840x1080 resolution it changed the aspect to 3.5555555556 or something. That didn't work. So I tried 1.7777777777778 .. still no luck. Thanks in advance for any advice on resolving this. My monitor setup lua: And the graphics section from options.lua:
  17. Can't answer re. the Mi-8, but the Huey door gunners work. Bear in mind they won't target aircraft .. just ground units. At least that's what I've observed (and obviously you need to ensure the gunners aren't in Weapons Hold mode, but you probably know that already). :)
  18. Your English is fine  Regardless of whether the NVG is available IRL, this is a video game. And in this video game we have several servers where the mission takes us into night time, and all variants of the Gazelle are available. Sure, if some purists wish to sit and wait until the birds are singing before going off in their L or Mistral that's fine! Some of us just want to play! :pilotfly:
  19. Great. Thank you for the update.
  20. Respectfully, I think you've missed the point. We are referring to the fact that you need to edit one of the .lua files in order to be able to use the NVGs on the L and Mistral variant. By default they're only enabled on the M variant. That's a design decision by Polychop. Nothing to do with ED. We are asking that the NVGs be enabled by default for all variants so file editing is not needed. Or at least have it as a special option in the menus (like for FFB etc).
  21. Is this going to be fixed as part of the impending multiplayer-related updates you're working on? To clarify, it seems like when multicrewing: The digits left and right of the decimal are not correct for pilot (correct, as entered, for copilot). I think hundreds and tens are fine. The ADF pointer is pointing to the wrong bearing for the pilot. Is correct for the copilot. Thanks.
  22. Indeed. That's what I say in my post that you quoted. I don't understand why they've limited it.
  23. Instead of MANPADS why don't you just enable the CTLD functionality to deploy AA defences? Presumably - as with JTAC crates - you can limit the numbers that can be deployed?
  24. Take my money now!
