  1. +1,000,000 :)
  2. Can't wait to try this. I wish we had this a long time ago. Thanks for your work!
  3. I changed my mind on FC3. I see now how there has been a bit of a split in the online community between A2A guys and A2G guys. The sooner the better for FC3 until well get the next DCS module.
  4. Updated 104th Information FC2/DCS server 67.138.111.123 Teamspeak3 (New 100 slots) ts22.gamespeak.com:9145 Password: phoenix
  5. Sorry, missed you tried the download. If you are using Tacview, go into the Tacview menu and uncheck the record Flaming Cliffs 2 option. Turn it back on for single player or if you watch a track of a multiplier flight.
  6. Those mods are not the problem on our server anyway. Maybe something else. You can try our modman pack that will reset only the files you need to default. Download here here from the 104th forums for our server. Others server have modman packs as well such as the 51st If you really want help, get TeamSpeak 3, as texting and flying don't mix well :) Here are the 104th details for TS ts22.gamespeak.com:9145 pass = phoenix
  7. The posts that were made said that a dedicated server is in the works and on the list of things to do. No timeline set. Servman does a lot of nice things so make sure to use that for now.
  8. What about a light wireless headset with Mic? Sound quality is not important since I just mine for voice comms. Can someone recommend a very light wireless headset please? Thanks
  9. Most servers do a good job detailing locations of enemy ground units in their brief with a map and waypoints. I really recommend you give A2G a try online. There are many people that are hooked :) Jump on Teamspeak and you can coordinate attacks and fly formation. Good fun.
  10. Can you not put a video card in it or is it just a 1U sapce or something? There is a file you can edit to shut off the 3D engine in A-10C, but it seems you still need a 3D card. See here. In FC2 and Ka-50 there is no such edit. In short, the answer seems to be a no.
  11. That has an easy answer. Fly to where they takeoff from. Once you know the enemy airport name, fly there and you will see action. Oh and RTFB. Read The F'n Brief :) If you have read the manual, know the basics and can tell friend from foe, you will get all the help you need when you jump online. Just ask.
  12. I look forward to the compatibility patch. The one thing i think that needs to get fixed is the LWR in multiplayer. Never mind a RWR, the LWR does not even work when hosting with FC2. It will mostly if using Blackshark to host, but then FC2 jets have bugged RWRs. I think the compat. patches are not as easy as everyone thinks. While adding new features for sure would be cool, let ED get the compat. down first.
  13. Nice format. Thanks for the share!
  14. Temp folder of your sim install, or in Tacview use the option for location of the saved tacview ACMI files.
  15. I think you should work for Mikoyan!
  16. That is awesome thanks!.
  17. Whispers are an excellent tool in TS3. Nice post Tyger. Perhaps one day VOIP will be included in the Sim. I think this will be the only way to ensure everyone is linked together. A sim like this more than any other game requires voice comms.
  18. Yoda, maybe you missed Bvoiash's work on having similar functions as ERI with Rus jets. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=68962
  19. There is nothing else to do, therefore you will not need your Sim, your sim peripherals or even your PC anymore. I will PM you my address and you can send all that stuff to me since there is nothing left to do :D
  20. Congrats to Yoda for his new work. Someone that worked so hard for free and shared his work for free deserves it. This topic has split off a bit into other mods and security online... I guess it is just the way it is. Look at the RAF server. They lock down everything. No custom 3D plane models or anything. Then there are online games that allow no customization. A program like Punkbuster will kick you out of the server for any mods. ArmA has a descent system. The server can setup certain mods to be allowed. Then you can join the server whether or not you have the allowed mod! Perfect. It may be however, that mods and security will never mix online. You lock down the game code so the only version of the sim online is the one that was released by the developer. I hope I am wrong and the future sees some possible solutions in DCS.
  21. Sign up is now closed. She filled up very quick. Thanks to all that signed up. Have fun with the planning and the mission!
  22. My guess is it comes from a Winchester rifle. When you have no bullets, all you'd have left is your Winchester. Just a stab in the dark lol.
  23. Hopefully Beyond The Redline will be released as a full project some day. It has been going on for a while now.
  24. They don't. Was a just a small hypothetical. On our server, with just a few MiG-29Gs, it really doesn't effect things much.
  25. Oh this topic again. I really like Leavu and ERI and I wish we could use more mods, but security first. Even small chances make people feel safer. Less accusations etc. I see what you’re saying GG, but people can do creative things with even own ship data. Look at LEAVU itself. It can give positions of other planes by datalink, a US style RWR for RUS jets. A little more creativity and who knows. The alternative is forcing people to download mods that match the server config, but it's hard enough keeping a server busy with FC2, let alone forced downloads.
