  1. TFX by DID was my first PC flight sim. I then ordered EF2000 from the UK as soon as it was released. Awesome sim for it's time.

  4. Hope you had a good one Grimes!
  5. 104th Server is one for sure as well. Also, try out our TeamSpeak - IP 64.34.162.240:9102 Password phoenix
  6. Hey Moa, Wags also made an announcement here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=79080
  7. They need Trackir for jets, vehicles and infantry ala ArmA! I realize this is a business, so they must take in to account return on investment for time spent to implement TIR, but give some of the fans what they want FFS! :)
  8. Thank you guys! It is an honour to have friends from around the world wish me well. I had a really good day. Didn't get to 40 beers, but only cause I have to work today :helpsmilie:
  9. I loved and completed the first one. Picking this up this week. Glad people are liking it.
  10. The big 40 yes. Getting harder and harder to be able to drink one beer per year in one day :)
  11. Do I look fat carrying this AGM-65G?
  12. Good words. Even though I prefer having the ability to do A2A with A2G, I consider A-10C to be the pinnacle of flight sims. There is no reason that someone with even a hint of interest in aviation should not pick it up!
  13. Again, you just make DCS as detailed as possible, then add options to make things easier. Look at the startup in DCS. You can manually do it, or just press the cheat key to startup. There is no need to tone anything down.
  14. Also, you can do most of combat without learning all the intricacies in the DCS series. For example, the nav systems. So there is still lots of room for those that don't want to, or can't spend the time to learn everything. There are game modes in the DCS series as well. Though I never play them except out of curiosity. They get a bad wrap from the hardcore people. Not because they consider it to be lame to not want to know all the details, but as with a lot of things in life, things that take more time to learn can give you greater rewards. ED do a great job with the game modes in FC/DCS for those that want it. I think their should be a dedicated ED server for the DCS series using game mode. I bet you it would be very popular. That would only help the hardcore part of it.
  15. Correct me if I am wrong but FC1 key is ~ FC2 is Ctrl+~
  16. If they make DCS:A10A instead of DCS:FIGHTER JET. I will hold you personally responsible! :D I have been flying IL2COD a bit more. I know I have said this before but, the updates made in FC2 were great, Ka-50 and A-10C are monumental sims. I am, however, a little bored of the same fighter jets since Lock On's 2003 release. Being primarily a fighter jet fan, I am a little disenchanted right now. Not to diminish all the great effort from ED, but I am waiting for a DCS fighter, and it is long, long, long wait for me.
  17. Maybe ED will implement in this the next DCS module.
  18. Great video. Yes an animation where the wings jiggle under high G would be excellent!
  19. Listen to man with the drinking squirrel!
  20. US Fixed Wing...US Fixed Wing...US Fixed Wing... Say it 3 times and you'll go there. Then you will know what it is. Can you say 'tease'?
  21. Lol. Now go play some volleyball.
  22. He is right! I think to the common observer this gets lost, but here is the scoop. When flying online you will see other clients external aircraft jump around and jitter. It is very disconcerting and kills immersion. The good news is that it seems totally fixed in DCS:A-10C! In FC2 and Ka-50 it is still there however. It was not there in FC1. Also, IMHO I don't want to be no gosh darn RIO sorry. I want to fly the darn thing lol
  23. My thoughts... leave a two seater for the future. A single seater will be easier and we already have a long wait.
