  1. Did you even read my post? Have you read the rest of the thread? You completely misunderstand. LM can not develop support for DCS, I never said that. ED has to develop support for LM from the ground up.
  2. No, that is not a good argument. There is no technical reason it can't be supported. Why do you think that the mouse cursor has anything to do with it? Go try LEAP support in FSX/P3D with FlyInside, and you'll see how it works. It is VERY cool to be able to just reach out and touch buttons and switches in the cockpit. To explain: The mouse cursor can co-exist with your LEAP hands, no problem. They are separate. LEAP hands interact with the cockpit in 3D space. But that interaction has to be supported from the ground up. The question is if ED considers it a device worth supporting. Sadly I don't think they do, but I think they should.

  4. Yeah, I noticed this too. Posted another thread about it, but in the wrong subsection it seems. Would be nice to have it fixed. This thread is over a year old now. Seems like it should be an easy fix, just multiply the deflection value by -1.

When flying stick it's more convenient to fly right seat, because then you have your left hand more free to adjust radios etc. It's easier to let go of the collective than the stick in a heli especially. When flying yoke, it doesn't matter, and then i sit in the left seat because I'm used to it.
  6. As the title says, the deflection of the course needle is reversed when tracking a radial towards a VOR in the Huey.
  7. Yeah, I'm always on the latest... 1.5.6.1938 at the moment. Shoot, maybe I somehow managed to skip the needed files? I thought it wasn't possible to have anything but all the updated files using the auto-updater... Or is it a regression? Is it working correctly for you?
  8. I noticed that the deflection of the VOR course needle is wrong (=reversed). I haven't been able to find any comments on this, has anyone else noticed it? I noticed this being east of Mineralniye Vody flying westbound towards Mineralniye Vody VOR. I dial in 270 on the OBS, and the needle is centered and I get a TO flag, upwards pointing white triangle. But when I deviate to the right, the needle also deflects to the right. It should deflect to the left, indicating that I am to the right of my desired radial. Given that the needle represents the radial, and my position is represented by the small circle in the middle of the CDI.

Reading the changelog for the new update, it's absolutely stunning that things like "AI UH-1H will not able to fly with broken tail rotor" and the likes takes precedence over fixing a broken map. While nice to have AI being affected by broken tailrotors, it's not nearly as game-breaking as not being able to use the map. But then again, us VR flyers are a minority... Edit: I had to eat these words, the map was fixed in 1.5.5!

  13. The culling algorithm for shadows creates a mismatch between left and right eye when the shadow-casting object is close to the edge of the screen. Shadows are culled for one eye but not the other. Same thing with clouds. Visible when turning your head while flying among clouds.

  15. Same here. Grass flashing in VR. I noticed that the grass only flashes in one eye, if that's any help to the bug hunter... In any case, it's very uncomfortable.

  17. Heat haze only shows in the right eye since the 1.5.4 update. Apologies if it's already been reported, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
  18. Yeah, that's pretty bad moderation if you ask me. I also reported this in the VR issues thread, and when moved here, my post appeared pretty incomprehensible and out of context. I can understand the will to keep the forum neat, and the thread count down, but not to the price of added confusion.
  19. Horizon tilted in 1.5.4 I'm having the issue with tilted horizon as well.

  21. Nope, I have to do that as well. I don't see it as a problem though... However, the horizon is tilted in VR. That is a MAJOR problem. Please fix this with high priority! And heat blur only shows in my right eye, worked in both before the update.
  22. Yep, I noticed this as well, with the "Aurora" mission in "UN pilot" campaign. Martell group wouldn't move, changed the same way as you did, and it worked.
  23. Yeah, we know it's ALPHA, that's why we are providing feedback. To maybe sway the developers in the direction we want before it's too late.
