It would be wrong if it not did have any effect on pitch in the real world. And I don’t quite see the problem either. It might be close to reality flying, but if I bother to be bugged by anything, I rather look into its DM. And compare it to MI 8. MI 8 got together with Hind the best DM among all choppers in DCS and Huey got loss of rotor. mot is basically dead meat getting fired at, if you don’t fly the rotor off it get shot off. It would have been a good module in msfs , it got a lot of reasons for a upgrade , your problem are last of them in my opinion, but could gladly be looked into

Thanks @AeriaGloria for your continuous seemingly endless knowledge you share with us. I flown this module pretty much every time I start DCS since it came out. I never knew it even had a hoover button. I messed a lot with the autopilot at first, but soon I just trimmed it. I am not with my computer right now. But I just trim it for what ever speed I want. But I will look into this Always something new to learn.

That is far gone. I think you should try to fly MI 24 and MI 8 online. And see how far you go. But I do agree Chinook need a more complex dm. MI 8 is my favorite because of its dm. You can nurse it home or at least get it away from harms way when hit and emergency land

They got a lot of modules older than this to work on. I don’t expect this to be finished for a while. They probably need to get done something with game engine in order to get things right , I don’t know, but at some point this bird will be flyable

I have huge issues loading this chopper in MP it is by far the worst in that regard. I think they know, this bird will be updated a long time ahead

reported 2.9 MI-8 Back Door Gunner Missing
LuseKofte replied to Dracollin's topic in Bugs and Problems
That pleases me to hear , many thanks -
Kind of hard to swallow this. It really do piss me off. I try hard not to make a drama of these insignificant bumps on the lighter side of my life. But MI 8 still is the best UH chopper produced here and it is next oldest. Show her respect and give us a answer on why and if it’s going to be fixed.

You have to recycle the switch yes. And you should get a error code on display about it.

It sounds to me that you have a problem rearming the hook. This is what happen if you don’t arm the hook after use
-
I can do so as many times I want I just have to arm the hook after every release EDIT: I am talking about offline. Online I have not flown CH 47 that much. I honestly like MI 8 better
-
It works for me I do not know if it shows in tracks but if it does sorry for the lagging. I need to be patient when flying the Hook and let everything load in properly , else I wwill have a stutter hell in the beginning. That track did not work for me CH47_sling_testTrack.trk

I flew it last week in sling load mission Guam. It worked then. I just wanted to know you did procedure since we had no update since then. I will of course test this later today, because fooling around with slingloading is a fond hobby of mine and this made me a bit worry
-
Do you arm the hook and set it to all and open the button cover?
-
I noticed that flying using BOB easily ware the engines

Launcher adapters are missing in multiplayer

As a side note. Mods are a nightmare for Campaignmakers too. Even if the mod is not a part of the campaign. So yeah mods do inflict stuff. I am not sure a repair will change that fact -

What I do or rather say did , I has not flown it for a long while is if required hoover and find /lock the target, then transition to forward flight then fire. I do not know how fast you need to go but it never happened to me

Well this means I need to learn the Phantom and later go through the frustration about what I thought I was proficient at, I was not. -
Cockpit Point of View all screwed up - Help!
LuseKofte replied to bop1701's topic in DCS: OH-58 Kiowa
can it help pushing [F10] change position save with [9] -
Mi 8 is hands down the best chopper so far. It got a playability in hostile environments. It takes a believable amount of punishment. It can bring a lot of weapons and still carry cargo or troops. It is and feel like I imagine a chopper of that generation would fly. It still after many years make me f*** up if not focused

Peoples preferences is different all right, I would not buy F 35 and I would not buy SU of any type, it might be the reason I so easily can say that I do not care for the perspective in this post. Wishing something else is one thing , but wishing something not beeing built that is wished by others is kind of , not nice. That said, I do not buy that NATO /western modules is buildt because it brings in more money, it is a BS policy. This is for most a game, If you build just one sides of a conflict modules, what are they suppose to fight in a combat flight simulator? If it do not pay as much, build it anyway and use the profit from western modules. IT is a CFS for god sake. This WW2 crap with F6 and Corsair being built and all it going to fight is a ai Zero. It do not hold any standard, and I would not reccomend that strategy all over the board
