not a module issue Loading cargo while startup online
LuseKofte replied to LuseKofte's topic in Bugs and Problems
Yes but before patch it did not matter. In Rotorhead server you are or where allowed to have six onboard if you try that now with tail toward load. It will not refuse you to load it. But it will then do the same thing. I think it is something wrong with the suspension after the patch. It acts differently under landing too -
not a module issue Loading cargo while startup online
LuseKofte replied to LuseKofte's topic in Bugs and Problems
When you stand with load in front of you the load get on the roof if you choose ground crew loading and the chopper go highwire with no contreol with no added collective -
If the engine runs when loading internal cargo online the chinook bounce itself to oblivion. If you do it while engine is off it get a sudden violent bounce downwards , but stay intact. It happened twice in Rotorhead server. I don’t know how to make track online

It worked pre patch. Have not flown since. Updating now -
In CH-47 the helo jumps straight up when I change from Bob to manual
LuseKofte replied to Ramstein's topic in DCS: CH-47F
I still got issues with Bob when I want him to increase altitude fast. Like coming back from [F10] map. It commits genocide counting the troops onboard. It might very well be my own stupidity , it is still very frustrating and I hope a update is coming soon -
I love the hook, I really do. But none of what we see today is ready enough to be compared to reality. It’s too early access. You should have no problem going higher with full tanks and no cargo. In fact if it’s nothing wrong with missions online I have yet to see any limitations in weight. You can fill it up with troops , take full internal cargo and still sling load the heaviest cargo DCS offer with no seemingly difference in performance

In CH-47 the helo jumps straight up when I change from Bob to manual
LuseKofte replied to Ramstein's topic in DCS: CH-47F
I like it. But it is a source of frustration I use it a lot on Rotorhead server. And all my crashes is because of it. If you pull collective to fast you also go to an unrecoverable stall if at low altitude. Ofcourse it is my fault, it is like in real life. I bump my head at the same spot endlessly. My fault, nevertheless very frustrating. Flying the Kiowa a lot, I kind of accustomed to more complete systems. I am going to adore the hook. Love it already. But well, it kind of don’t love me back sometimes -
Not always, it happens approximately 20% of the time I spent on Rotorhead server. Maybe on second trip or more. I have not experienced this offline where most hours are flown. I cannot replicate this offline, and I understand a track will not help from a long online session

If you unchecked easy comms. Button assignment for coms menu will only work when your ac is on ground. you need to assign radio button for comms menu in flight

Armed, not firing hellfires, turn arm off, then again turn arm on again
LuseKofte replied to Ramstein's topic in DCS: AH-64D
You need to be off the ground to arm both weapons and flares. -
OH-6A by Tobsen and Eightball
LuseKofte replied to tobi's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Well this turned out to be a real gem. Only thing left now is learn to land and take off with dignity. Once in the air I can do everything and I mean everything. Not a loach expert but it fly as I imagine it does. My take off and landing skills is lack of hours and all on me -
Yes exactky my point. I considered a Robinson 22/44 stick and yoke at the same desk. Just for the convenience but it was too specific too

Modify? you mean change true to false?

Nope. Mostly because I won’t fly Chinook exclusively. I owned a Huey setup and it got life long quality. But gone over to Virpil collective with different grips.

Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against trials. I just don’t bother with them. For me , I buy modules I bother to learn properly. A hard learned lesson since I own pretty much everything and about all jets is not used. But I have no sympathy for anyone demanding trials. Because it is not a common practice in the genre, and demanding such a thing is just like said above , arrogance
-
To be fair, you don’t see free trials in any other sim. To be fair #2 cheap sodds misused the trials so ED had to set a id on each making such things very laborious To be fair #3 It is an armed recce chopper that is easy to handle yet a capable weapon platform. If that is your cup of tea you know it.

I seen this happen. I think it got to do with position of trust leveler and stick when engaging BOB

fixed Rotor Mast's not attached to main rotor hub's (modeling issue)
LuseKofte replied to T-B0NE's topic in Bugs and Problems
This is a once you seen it, can’t be unseen moment. …. -
I do the hooking much better than delivering. And indeed using Virpil collective it is hard to find the right trust. I might try that slider thing
