I just adjusted it some in order to get the guns available . Rest is originally MI 8 slingloads in syria creators work. However it is a good mission. If you unpack it in your DCS folder it will alter your quick mission lua. If you have not changed anything from original it will only add this mission to CH 47 quick mission. If you have changed it , you probably will loose that. If you want the mission in single mission folder you can do so by just choosing the mission file and put it there CH-47F_Syria_Slingload.7z

It been out too short time to be evaluated and judged by what’s been done.

That last bit is bollox, or you have no idea What you Are talking about. You got to give more time before issuing a statement like that. They might very well have done nothing, or plenty. Thing is nobody outside knows

All These Maps and updates made me uninstall msfs and Great Battles due to lack of storage. No doubt that video showed a very gorgeous scenery. I am tempted. But it have to wait. I am not totally onboard with the negativity around several social platforms though. It is my escape from reality world we talk about. I am pretty dependent of it’s existence. Not saying things do not deserve criticism, but direct hostility I am against

not a module issue Loading cargo while startup online

And it works, however if you pack old units they may float , but still did not make any disaster while loading -
not a module issue Loading cargo while startup online

I can confirm. Choosing one crate and load it one at the time seem to be the only way to do it. This is only happening when cargo is stacked on top of each other when loading -

not a module issue Loading cargo while startup online
LuseKofte replied to LuseKofte's topic in Bugs and Problems
No and I suspect it might be a Rotorhead server issue. I asked if anyone had a problem with it on their Discord. No answer yet. Other servers I tested do loading via coms. Menus I had little time to look for more the internal load stack itself in height after the second or third loading. I will test if this happen if I spawn and load the chopper one at the time. Because if you ask for 5 internal loads they stack itself on top of each other outside the chopper Btw. Thank you for the time. Love this chopper and appreciate your effort. However I do see this as a server vs my own software issue more than a bug. And if it is a bug it might got something with the loading and not the chinook -

I really appreciate your effort. I will do as told. I only done this in Rotorhead server. So I might try another server. I experience a very long loading time in that server. Other servers are way faster in loading. -

Same thing on servers. It goes wrong with cargo on the back too. It seem to be a problem on my end. But slow repair did not help -

Before I go any further I test a mp session with my mods disabled. I got OH 6 and UH 60 mod installed and this was after last patch. So they might do something -

not a module issue Loading cargo while startup online
LuseKofte replied to LuseKofte's topic in Bugs and Problems
Yes but before patch it did not matter. In Rotorhead server you are or where allowed to have six onboard if you try that now with tail toward load. It will not refuse you to load it. But it will then do the same thing. I think it is something wrong with the suspension after the patch. It acts differently under landing too -

When you stand with load in front of you the load get on the roof if you choose ground crew loading and the chopper go highwire with no contreol with no added collective -
If the engine runs when loading internal cargo online the chinook bounce itself to oblivion. If you do it while engine is off it get a sudden violent bounce downwards , but stay intact. It happened twice in Rotorhead server. I don’t know how to make track online

In CH-47 the helo jumps straight up when I change from Bob to manual
LuseKofte replied to Ramstein's topic in DCS: CH-47F
I still got issues with Bob when I want him to increase altitude fast. Like coming back from [F10] map. It commits genocide counting the troops onboard. It might very well be my own stupidity , it is still very frustrating and I hope a update is coming soon -
I love the hook, I really do. But none of what we see today is ready enough to be compared to reality. It’s too early access. You should have no problem going higher with full tanks and no cargo. In fact if it’s nothing wrong with missions online I have yet to see any limitations in weight. You can fill it up with troops , take full internal cargo and still sling load the heaviest cargo DCS offer with no seemingly difference in performance

In CH-47 the helo jumps straight up when I change from Bob to manual
LuseKofte replied to Ramstein's topic in DCS: CH-47F
I like it. But it is a source of frustration I use it a lot on Rotorhead server. And all my crashes is because of it. If you pull collective to fast you also go to an unrecoverable stall if at low altitude. Ofcourse it is my fault, it is like in real life. I bump my head at the same spot endlessly. My fault, nevertheless very frustrating. Flying the Kiowa a lot, I kind of accustomed to more complete systems. I am going to adore the hook. Love it already. But well, it kind of don’t love me back sometimes
