I know a guy making one for Afghanistan with place hold map and choppers. But I don’t know the progress or if it’s delayed due to the state it is released on. He is busy doing 3 D also. I will have a talk and hear what’s going on

This is a guess but I assume you mean the DAFCS system. I have no idea what it do. Other than I do understand it is a stabilisation system making it easier operate. The fact it is not ready, means to me it is a complex system ED need to get right. And it is totally fine they do that and spend time on it. If you read Bigenwy’s post you will see they have a make do trimmer that enable you to fly it just fine. I hope we get a great ai crew for it, because the pilots say it is a crew effort to fly it. You need your crew chief to tell you what to do

Yeah. That is my take on it too. Bignewy said it was a blast flying and hauling cargo with. Not having a complete system means it will not work as it should. But an incognito trim system make it flyable. This is pretty much what I expected in the first place. System was a previously Chinook pilot making me aware of not many weeks ago. I knew there was a lot I did not know about this chopper. I can imagine how it flys but have no idea about how controls work. It is delayed, it is not complete and no matter how anyone feel about these facts it do not matter. It is what it is This doomsday speech is just as much assumptions as anything else. I assume you are just as entitled to assume as I am.

I think overcorrections mention earlier is a case here. I actually flown a couple of Bell helicopter with the stick while not allowed to touch the collective. But that was a safety measure. The pilot said it was not used while flying. You hold it but only use it when slowing down and adjusting when flying you almost fly it like fixed wing. The Huey according to Vietnam vets should have stick movement within a quarter coin. Simulator experience are much about the hardware you use. A good smooth stick do not require axis tweak. A stick with detent often do.

With this little faith in a product and developer , I am kind of amazed you buy anything. Anyway what is the problem not installing it if you do not want to fly it in state it is in now. And meantime others can test it out and give them a chance. I do agree in many complaints here, I do understand the frustration. But it kind of not helping. ED is aware of this. Chinook is a legend, just as much as the Huey. The hype is huge and anticipation high among many. Yes indeed, this would have been better off saying before Christmas last year that the chinook will be delayed to end of this year in a better equipped state. But even then not finished. As for now I look forward to its arrival

We got to admit it’s starts to look like comedy the whole thing. You can see the panic when they had to delay the delayed. I was pretty hyped by Chinook myself. Good thing is updated Kola map and hopefully more populated. Halfghanistan I have not bought. I wait until a campaign I am interested in before I go there

Did I call you an idiot? none of you can answer one simple question. Do you want a full complete module in a year? Or do you want an early release version now. I for one want an early version that works as intended and have no problem with a 14 day delay. I just don’t get why you buy early release when you don’t want it

It won’t be more complete in two weeks. It gonna be what they said, just without the issue they fixing. My guess is if complete we look at minimum 6 month delay. I just can’t understand the logic, those wh will not have it in this state can just not install it.

Hey, I am just guessing here. I believe they want to avoid any delays. Because there is other things in the coming update. Personally I work in construction too. I have yet to compare these two branches myself. For me a delay means I have to stay longer away from home. It has happened more often than I care to remember. a deley of this new toy, I can actually live with and live well. I rather have it in a best as possible state than rushed into service

Well I got an older rig with an upgraded gpu to 3080 with a G2 and relative tuned down settings. But I thank you for the explanation. It is obviously been build over many years and this is the consequence. I hope it will have an upgrade like the Hazelle did.

For me it is totally fine. I fly vr. And don’t take screenshots. However, I do see people say it is heavy on their system. And I kind of noticed the same on a very few occasions. There are some oddities I hope they fix in order to get a smooth experience. for the poly counters, just stop it. Of course it could be better. You proved your point. But to me it is not a priority.

Yeah, I got the F4 but not learned it yet. I simply suck at jets. That is probably because I almost never fly them, know nothing about its tactics and when people talk about their mission I don’t even understand their language. This campaign might change that. I might just start to learn some of it

What exactly do you mean? Are we all victims or just a picked few. Is it a secret brotherhood around getting those tutorials? Who exactly is it for by your logic. If you got pedals a throttle and a joystick I gather it works equal for everybody. I do want this to come July 3. Do you want it delayed until they made tutorials? I am very confused.

I figure that all the drama for every release make them hesitate updates. 15 minutes after the release of Kiowa it was deemed an absolute fiasco and a flop. One day after when people came to grips with it it was ok ish. Then all of the sudden people loved it. People seem to wish it asap, and in the other hand it is a shame they release it unfinished.

I think this is realistic and how it should be. Listening to what real chopper pilots say this is how a chopper is. Casmo, a formar Kiowa pilot say you hoover with back down, sort of. Another pilot say that aerodynamic make lift on left side more than right side, so to recover a chopper it is always wise to use left turn

This is kind of false. We are getting it. Just not now. If this is to hard to swallow , you just don’t install it until it got it.

Hi, I expirienced some issues in one server with Kiowa. I think it was in Rotorheads server. That day I turned down all graphics and tried several times. Game just froze. I have not encountered it since. I deem it like almost equal to Hind in performance. But less consistent Are you still experiencing some drops. I kind of want this issue a bit more clear than I am able to reproduce. Because I believe it got sort of issue. Ok I really hope they fix it. I do believe you. I read here and on Facebook groups. Several experiencing this problem

I have seen some got this problem. Mine is assigned to a ah 64 collective grip analog joystick using axis and works flawless. Is it a problem with axis or hatswitch?
