Hi, I have just installed the 2.5 version. On the previous version I used 3 monitors for the main view+Shvalk and ABRIS. I have update the monitor setup (lua file) in the 2.5 version but besides the main view, I have an extension of the main view (and not the Shvalk+ABRIS) on my two others monitors.. As I know, the muli-screen is compatible with the 2.5 version but I have maybe forget something... Thxxx for your support Chris

Sorry but I have an issue with the KA-50 and multi-monitor on 2.5 I have just installed 2.5 version I have adapted my lua file as it was in the previous version. Normally I have 3 screens : Main view (1680x1050) + Shvalk (1680)+ABRIS (2280) Total : 3304x1050 (Resolution) Result : main view ok but the Shavlk+ABRIS view are showing an extension of my main view, not the ABRIS and Shvalk screen ! What I am missing ?? Thx for your support Chris

Mmmmmmm The Hind is well announced in the last Wags' letter... Our talented 3rd parties are also working hard on other great aircraft like the AV-8B Night Attack S/VTOL, F-14 Tomcat, FC-17, F-4E Phantom II, Mi-24P Hind, Bo-105, and others.... Let's watch and see over the next few months (weeks ??) ...

I totally agree with you ! Phantom or Hornet is prio 1 and I think that the Hind project is not yet very advanced. Maybe it's that why it is NO news on it ! Which is quiet very frustrating...because everybody is asking the same question on the BELSIMTEK forum, and it's still no answer from their part...

No , the Mi-24 project could not be cancelled !!! The info below could confirm this idea... Q. Are you allowed to tell us which helicopters are in the pipeline for future release ? A. For now only Mi-24P. Others could be planned but as we answered before, development time is not short, and in that time a lot can happen, so its not productive to make any solid statements at this time. Their current projects include the MI-24P helicopter. We're sure this is going to be of the highest quality just like their current helicopters the Huey and Mi-8. So, cross fingers and still waiting....an continue to prying !!!

Same as many of you, I am waiting for the Mi-24. I am only flying with helicopters. Since few months now I don't play with DCS modules anymore. After the Ka-50, I am waiting for the Hind !!! Mi-8 is a transport (and support) helicopter only and Gazelle is too light with a limited weaponry. Belsimtek, if you ARE working on it, a small update will be nice !

I really understand your point but since the NTTR map and the issue explained by the community I decided to wait my installation despite my excitation to play on it... I will continue to flight on the Caucasius map and wait a 1.5 final version.... But thx for the explanations Silver Dragon

Look on the forum and also on the other international forum on DCS and you will see that i am not the only one to share this opinion. I really love DCS but since ka-50 and A-10C I am dissapointed by the proposed products....in beta version since months or years....don't be blind and accept the criticism from others unless all is perfect for you...

So, for you DCS is perfect ? Sorry but for me it's still far from that. You right no one said that I have to install alpha or beta but when you launch a new terrain or a new version everybody want of course to tried it. Since who many years we play on the same map without any improvement ( exept mods from the community) on DCS ? 1.2 is the more stable version but if you want to play in a beter Caucasius map you have to install the beta 1.5 AND if you want to flight above vegas you need to install an other version.... Hopefully, maps of Normandy and the other one in the Gulf are far from ready...5 different version of DCS...why not ? Hahaha I am pretty sure that DCS is the only one to do so...I don't have any problem to pay the full price (even more expensive than actually) for an advanced module but if you give me a draft from a draft who will stay so during few months... Put your people on one or two project only and at the end the releasable version will be much more serious, playable and expected by the community compare to the actual situation...

ED, I want to be honest in my following comments and despite my sincerely pleasure to play with DCS I think that some of us must also give a critical analysis of the current situation. Sorry but since few days it's really difficult for me to understand the ED philosophy ! We have now 3 different version of DCS, a normally following module (1.2) and two other Beta, Alpha including many issues. Can you explain to us how it will be possible to install the next annouced modules (Mirage 2000 + Gazelle) in three different versions ? What will be the next version ? A pre-Alpha , an alpha first version ? Sorry but for me it's not serious ! Yes the DCS community can support ED as "beta tester" but we are really loosing the advantage of this with now 3 different version of DCS. Some of us have and enjoy DCS in order to "fligh" and not to spend hours and hours to find issues or to report buggs in three different version of it !!! At the moment I didn't downloaded 2.0 and NTTR map, I will not pay for a product far away from what you can expect... Same for WWII modules simply because, for the moment, I don't see any interest in it (Spitfire, BF-109,... in Caucasus or Vegas....No kidding !!! :music_whistling:). My feeling is that there have been so many complaints following the delay in the output of previous modules that now ED want to respect the announced release... So please ED let us enjoy your "nearly finished" products and don't dissapoint some of us with 2, 3 or more alpha, beta,...version... Your devoted fan !

I have some troubles with my DCS 1.2.12 folders. It's a mess in some folders. For exemple CA is still located in Mods/Aircraft (normally it should be place in Mods/Tech) and if I delete it, I can't play anymore with this module...:music_whistling: My question : Is DCS 2.0 will be an update as it's normally be after each DCS update or it should be a complete new installation ? Thx

What do you mean by a clean install ? The entire DCS World ???

Hi, Before I played with CA without any problems. Since last updates I can't play anymore. I think before CA was installed in Mods/aircraft no it's in Mods/Tech. When I erase CA from Aircraft in the main menu is grey and I have to buy agin CA. When I let CA both in Aircaft and Tech the CA icon is colored, I can play but when I want to join a vehicle, I can eard the sound but the screen is blue. It's really messy ! :( If anywone can help me ! Thx a lot
