Yes , that's right..with the real Mi-24 I was talking about the expected Mi-24 DCS module... Until now there is for me no real DCS module with dual seats.. So it's maybe easier for ED to develop the Hind-P version with a fixed gun than an other version with a mobile front gun. Maybe the same issue for a possible KA-52 which could be upgraded from the Ka-50 module.

Fixed gun is maybe the easiest solution for a dual pilot helicopter...for the moment. The Pilot can flight and fire with guns and rockets. The gunmen can manage only the anti-tank missile... I can live with it... But before asking for different versions...let's wait for a FIRST real annoucement on the status of the project...Which is still on but maybe still far away from a BETA version... And there is no one more impatient than me on the release of the "Majestic" Mi-24 HIND ..

Eduardo, Thx for the reply but... The Virpil Mod and both mission files were ok during the past. Now, If you download it from his website, nothing is working anymore... Yesterday, I have received the last Mod 0.9.4 from Rudel (downloaded before by Rudel) and all is working fine. Same issue with mission file. When you download the mission, the Red one is 0 Kb !!

Thx a lot Rudel !! Just downloaded. Texture files are working fine and are not bugged compare to the Virpil link on his website. I will test it tomorrow in DCS 2.5.3... So tested this Thursday...and approved ! All is working fine... Afterwards, I have dowloaded the 2 (blue and Red) missions... still on Virpil website and same issue, both files are corrupted ! Is it someone using both missions and who could send a link for download...like the 0.9.4 version of Rudel ? Thxxx a lot

So, I made a lot of test today, regarding the installation of the VP-Airfield Equipment 0.8.2 beta and 0.9.4 beta The version 0.8.2 is working fine Afterwards, I removed the 0.8.2 version and installed the last version 0.9.4. Of course in the same folder name (Users/Mods/....) The transfer of the files from my USB stick to my computer HD was much more fast compared to the 0.8.2 version... Which is strange because we have more files to install... I downloaded the the 0.9.4; via the Virpil website https://virpil.com/en/news/58-vpc-airfield-equipment-dlya-dcs-world Is it a possibility that the file there is damaged or corrupted ? Could somebody give me the possibility to download his 0.9.4 working version...just in order to compare both files... Thx a lot PS : And again when I look on the textures of the 0.9.4 with WinRAR I have the message reported on my previous reply (see Att)

Both Texture files are corrupted. Error when adding new objects in DCS. Am I the only one with this issue ?

Gents, Is it somebody working on the feasibility to add trees to the caucasus 2.5 Map (add object) ? The new map is beautifull but I still find that the object and particularly the trees are missing around the airports... Last weekend I went to an Airshow and the base was surrounded by trees...As most of the military airbases... Thxxxx Chris

I have on multiple occassions discussed and asked some news on the forum on the current status of the Mi-24... Many answers but no real "scoop" or confirmation... Be patient for the Kiowa because IF the Mi-24 is the priority in the helo, untill now the news on it were very "light". Untill today no screenshots and no news regarding the status of the Hind...so Maybe in the following weeks...

News from WAGS: F-18 and YAK-52 are now released and indeed a lot of information were posted before the release. Sorry but for both Mi-24 and AH-1, nothing like that. No official announcement, no screenshots, no discussion on the current status of these both projects... And it simply can explain why a lot of people are asking more...

You can follow the forum on the Mi-24 here : https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=193715 The MI-24 is still not officially confirmed and no intersting informations since a few months... BO-105 : On hold, status unknown AH-1 : same as Mi-24 No new helicopter in DCS since the release of the Gazelle : Apr 16 (if I am correct) So....more than 2 years ago ! Unfortunately, it seems that helicopters are not a ED priority...

With ED it is always surprising... Everybody was surprised with the announcement of the YAK-52 development... It should not be forgotten that the announcement of this module was released during a WE news in November 2017 ! The releasse of the YAK-52 module was effective end of July, 8 months later ! The Mi-24 module was discussed on very few discussions but is not yet officially announced... How much longer are we going to wait for the official Mi-24 module announcement ? An then still at least 8 months for the release ??? This lack of information regarding the Mi-24 is quiet annoying ! I don't know if I am too negative or if some people have the same feelings as me... but is it really impossible to have some news on the evolution of this project? We don't ask the date of a possible realease ! For your information, during the past, the development of the Ka-50 module was so long and the release was so many times posponed that I got my Private Pilot license (Helicopter) on Robinson 22 ! I think that I will have my Bell-206 licence before the release of the Mi-24 !

Maybe some news on the Mi-24 during the next ED weekend news ??? Ok guys, sorry, a very bad joke !! No news since 1 year so why now ? ED has decided to not communicate anything on the Mi-24, no news, no screenshot, no info regarding the development since the module moved from Belsimtek to ED... Very frustrated ! If, as me, you are in love of the Mi-24, continue to post on this forum, maybe can we expect a small reaction from Waggs, from Chizh or from any other ED members...Who knows... What a beautiful duet...We want to do the same above the Kobuleti AB !
