No one knows the status of the model. I was just referencing the fact that the Mi-24 is announced since more than 1 year and that noting was announced except the fact that the module is still under development and that we have seen 01 screenshot. And that's a fact ! So we have to wait and I AM ASSUMING that we will probably wait for a few more months...If less than that, it would be great. So if people are thinking on flying with the Mi-24, they will probably have the time to think about the idea. Nothing more...;)

It's not what the Mi-24 can do compared to the Mi-8 or the Ka-50 or we can see on what can do the F-16 compared to the F-18, the F-14 and even the A-10 :music_whistling: I was just pointed the fact that the Ka-50, the Mi-8 or others RW will not have the same impact as the Hind or the AH-64, two of the most requested modules... I have already spent a lot of times on the Ka-50 and I love this combat helicopter but the Mi-24 is for me a complete another story even if they share some similar capabilities... In fact I am waiting this helicopter since FC3 ! Like other simers are waiting the F-16...

Mi-24 just followed by the Mi-24 and finally the Mi-24 ;)

;) I was simply pointing the fact that the Mi-24 is not only an helicopter... and can open new possibilities even for people who have never thinking on it. Same for me, a real fan of RW but I could change my mind with the DCS "Reported" F-4 or the 'coming" F-14 :pilotfly:

Try to think of a few things that you've never thought of before. When we talk about the Mi-24 Hind, everybody recognize that this module could become one of the most significant module of DCS... Don't worry, if we look on the status of this module you will still have plenty of time to think about it... :music_whistling:

The stick was presented in June 2018 and since then nothing... Quite strange... It should normally be interesting for both Thrustmaster and DCS to commercialise this product...just like with the A-10C.

Is this project still relevant ? No news from Thrustmaster regarding the new stick since a long time now. Notting on their Twitter account except for gaming sticks used with Ace Combat 7... Nor have I heard anything from DCS or Matt concerning a new HOTAS after the beta release of the F-18. Can we still expect something in 2019 or is this project already dead ?

It was soooooo long ago....It was an announcement concerning the development of the Mi-24 Hind module. It was sooo long ago that I don't remember the date any more...And since this announcement , the Mi-24 fans have received : ONE SCREENSHOT !!!!:cry: During the last weeks, the F-14 fans have received , plenty of screenshots, movies and infos on the arrival of the Big Cat. So be happy to only wait for a few weeks...I am so desperate concerning the Mi-24 that I have already ordered de F-14 and it will be my 4th DCS module...:thumbup: For my part I am so excited and happy to only wait days of weeks compared to yearssss :music_whistling: We also know that the final results will for sure be magnificent ! Eduardo, Glad to ear that finally you are able to open the mission or the template. As I posted on a French forum, I placed planes and objects like in the real AB (From Google Earth pictures) but I also added more items only in order to give a more "crowded" and "busy" environment. Plenty of different templates are possible and I would be pleased to check yours if you want to share it too... Grtz, Chris

It's mainly only objects and planes used as "structure". Only a small number of vehicles are moving from different positions. Feel free to add additional planes in order to create air activities on and above NELLIS.:smilewink:

Mustang, Your modified version is indeed much more better but I would like to have a more dense black smoke. Could you tell me what I have to change in the Lua file? Is it another lua file for the smoke coming from damaged/destroyed building or is it the same as for the vehicle ? Thx a lot, Chris

I find this idea very interesting. Before I've used the kuky mod (under DCS 1.2.0) but the game crashed after a few minutes. My opinion is that two main things are still missing in DCS 2.5 : realistic aircraft sounds (APU, engines,...) despite the fact that some add-ons are giving a more realistic sound environment. The second thing is the smoke generated by destroyed vehicles and/or buildings. For me totally unrealistic... Sorry but I am unable to help you for that but I really hope that some guys will improve the final result. Watch out, dense, higher and wider smoke will most likely impact your FPS !

Hello, As I remember the SF vehicles (MATV near the C-5) are available in the "Ranger79's Mod Pack". I really don't know why the mission can't be saved afterwards. I can send the mission (miz) file. It will maybe solve some issues... Try first the light one and if it's fit for you I will forward the High version afterwards. Maybe a mistake from my part, templates and missions were done with the DCS 2.5 Beta version !! NELLIS_LIGHT.miz
