  2. ok cool thx sandman i will give lasso a go. i am a bit special when it comes to stuff like this so could you please tell me how to do it fella edit ive done it
  3. i have been toying with the idea of turning it off in the bios to see if it would make a difference in DCS. So my question is has anyone on ryzen done it and did or would it help?
  4. No worries fella
  5. circuit breaker is on and still no light. this was on the Korea 1952 server earlier today. had no problems with it before the last 2 DCS updates. https://i.imgur.com/2MVHYZV.png[/img]"] https://i.imgur.com/F30tPk5.png[/img]"] https://i.imgur.com/VKP5kNM.png[/img]"]
  6. nose light doesnt work after recent update, the coloured wing ones do but not the white one in the nose.
  7. yeah that is a good point, they are flown nowhere near as they were so the data wouldnt really match up to how we would want to fly them in the sim
  8. Yeah with ds on the terrain looks great, but on the other hand the cockpits look gash. I personally prefer to have a better looking plane than a tree but each to their own.
  9. ooh yes please
  10. absolutely with you on that
  11. this is awesome news
  12. agreed the 1070 doesnt have enough horse power
  13. Agreed with Silvern about the ram speed on Ryzen it matters quite a bit. For example i didnt know about the whole Hynix, Samsung ram modules problem when i bought my ram for the r7 1700 and because they were Hynix the system was using so slack timings to get it to run at 3200 it was actually making it slower than 2133. ive got some samsung b-dies coming on sunday and will be able to run 3200 with tight timings so will let you know the results.
  14. Yeah that was my thoughts especially with the ever growing size of DCS
  15. Seen a good deal on a Samsung SSD and was wondering if it would be worth while using it to just put DCS on and taking it off my main SSD. Has anyone else done a similar thing and did you get better performance.
  16. Yeah 388.71 seems to be the best for me. Thanks for the input guys

    sweet
  18. Thanks for the reply guys.
  19. Yeah I used that guide as a starting point and it is very informative. what seemed to sort most of my stuttery problems was disabling my second monitor while playing dcs
  20. Now we have had the 3 hotfixes, would it be worth while doing a fresh install of DCS?
  21. happy birthday doggo

    Mig-19 hype?

super excited for this beautiful piece of commie engineering to be released. do we have an estimated time scale of when we might expect her?
  23. a proper Korea map and with the release of the mig 19 a Vietnam map would be pretty cool.
  24. yeah i was hoping we were going to see some improvements in this area when 2.5 dropped as well. its one of the reasons i am flying my beloved mig 15 more at the moment
