A BUG/WIP list so we know what's been reported
BlueAngel replied to BlueAngel's topic in Bugs and Problems
Updated the first page list with further suggestions from you guys. Again, this would help a lot of people if the admins either pin or create a similar post with their own list. -
A BUG/WIP list so we know what's been reported
BlueAngel replied to BlueAngel's topic in Bugs and Problems
I've updated the bug list with your suggestions. Would it be nice to have this pinned? -
Hey It would seem that so many bugs and work in progress items are repeated in this section. Can I ask that we create a simple bug/WIP list so that people search for what has already been reported and what is WIP and will be implemented later? Reported and Known Bugs FIXED - Hot rearm does not recognize new AG weapon types. - "DEGD" indication on Weapons BIT (connected to the above issue) FIXED - EHSD Map OFF option is not available. FIXED - F/A-18C Hornet does not log flight hours. - "Bump" sounds after Mach 1. - Carrier catapult takeoff afterburner issues - UFC comms sometimes doesn't register the input of new frequencies. PART FIXED - ADV-RSET warning on the left DDI. - Inability to adjust AMPCD brightness, contrast etc - Length of time to hold UFC buttons to activate them - Oscillation after catapult launch - HUD blurriness (in 4k screens) and text slightly thick FIXED - In A/G bombing in CCIP mode, after pickle it will switch into AUTO. - In the Cold Start Training mission, for one of the steps, the voice switches to Chinese - ADF static sound persistence after being switched OFF. - CVN-74 jet blast deflectors don't raise for cat launch. - Radio transmissions sometimes don't go through, demanding multiple tries via radio menu. FIXED - Flying with fuel tanks can cause a random freeze. - EHSD brightness control doesn't work properly. Reported, but not a bug (Work in progress) - Jammers are not implemented - Parking spots are bugged on the CVN-74 - Multi-display monitors not supported yet - MFD export doesn't work yet - AIM-7F/M Sparrow accuracy needs further work - Approach angle of attack behavior needs further work Help me out with further issues you may have seen reported and/or classified as WIP. UPDATED: June 10th 2018

You don't even get the rearm "copy" if you're not doing ground handling properly. Like others have said (and I did too), the weapons really are loaded, but you cannot use them if you change their type.
-
Hi guys I am having an issue here I can't change weapon types during a hot rearm. Well I can, but the Store page doesn't have the buttons to select them Only the previous armed weapon models or none at all. Does it need to run the BIT again? If so, I'm only getting DEGD, which I assume is "degraded" or something. What am I doing wrong here? Can't the Hornet perform hot rearming changing weapons? If so, what's the procedure? Does it need to shut down entirely to change weapons?

I would say to use no curves whatsoever and focus on the refuelling plane, making sure you can match its speed trimming the aircraft. Then only make small adjustments in pitch, prefer pedals to ailerons for lateral corrections and if you use a twin engine "walk the throttle", with small increments to increase or decrease speed. I trained loads of formation and interception flights to make sure I could match speed prior to attempt AAR.

Awesome, drop me a line if you need help or testing. Thanks

Why... damn, you're right. But, no wonder I missed it, it's so freaking small and unreadable! Look at the picture of the real USMC Harrier cockpit. It looks quite different. Regarding the NWS/Anti-skid toggle, that's not the one I was referring to. And that's a button, by the way. Thanks for the update on manual. It is unfortunate that I need to learn things by trial and error.
-
I can´t understand why these toggle switches can't be implemented. It's a simples text inserted into the lua file. Right now, without these optional lines there's no button, key or switch option for the NWS/Anti-Skid toggle, for example.
-
Hey Razbam. Thanks for the work on the Harrier. It's been a nice evolution since the first version. Unfortunately there's some elements missing that I just can't help but ask why are they missing. Where is the left side canopy mounted wet compass? Every single Harrier model have them, heck, every single modern aviation airplane has one. How do we navigate when the systems go down? Why can't I map the NWS/Anti-skid toggle switch on a keyboard or joystick? Also, can we get an updated manual that includes the TPOD and HSI operations? Again, great work with the Harrier. But, please, these items seem to be disregards on your behalf.
-
Will this fix arrive anytime soon? Also, please fix the freaking clouds of Mordor when you place the nozzles down on the tarmac...
-
It's there, just too quiet. Same with the exterior view, more audible but still too quiet.
-
Hi Weren't these toggle switches supposed to be integrated in one of the Harrier updates? I honestly think Zeus or someone said it would. It's just that every time there's an update I have to recover my lua file because DCS restores the default controls.
-
Thanks for the clarification I tried the command line but it states I have the stable 2.5 version already. So, yeah.
-
Transitioning between 2.5.0 Open Beta to Stable Is this possible? Whenever I try to do force the update to stable version, the updater states I already have the latest stable version. But I had the Open Beta only. Could it be that this is just 2.5.0 with the last few hotfixes? If so, there doesn't seem to be any correction to multiplayer crashes. And that memory leak, was it fixed?

Hi Every time I choose this module to fly it, I get a crash to the menu with it. It's random, in any phase (ground, flight, whatever). Anyone got any idea on what to do? Tried repair and reinstall, by the way.

Latest Update DCS 2.5.0.15085 broke F-5E
BlueAngel replied to DaveRindner's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi I have the same issue, only I get a crash to the main menu with this module. The same is happening with the L-39C so I assume it's deeper than a simple module reinstall. Any help would be appreciated Belsimtek. -
Last update was in December, 23rd if I'm not mistaken. And that update was mostly cosmetic stuff, barely anything relevant in terms of additions or anything backlisted. I really hope this isn't turning into another Mirage 2000, since that plane is a "released" product but somehow is still needing updates. Is Razbam already aiming for the Tucano placing the Harrier down the list?

I thought it was just me. I stopped taking 4 sidewinders because of this. I thought I was doing something wrong.

Kiowa Warrior will be a day one purchase!

Hi I am searching for an active Close Air Support group to fly actively in central Europe. Although I've never been in a group, I wanted to make that jump. Seems to be fun. I fly mostly the A-10C, but also fly other ground attack planes and choppers with enough proficiency. Also aiming at Razbam's Harrier once it's officially available. Any groups available?

Hey, do you restrict your members to the flags on your logo? Or are you open to other countries?

Hi all I'm not a Beta tester and I am aware the plane is still in EA. I'm just listing these errors so that the developers can find something they overlooked. Some of these issues might not even be issues at all, so I apologize in advance if that's the case: 1- Refueling in this plane is bugged. When you spend fuel and try to refill the tanks (either by AAR or Ground Crew), two things happen: The internal stores (L and R) deplete immediately. And, all fuel taken only reached total fuel on board count. L and R stores remain both empty, lighting the master caution lights. The other thing that happens is that it seems the fuel taken overloads the plane, rendering it unable to even perform a conventional takeoff. 2- It seems that the Sidearm missiles don't like being picked from the lower weapon panel. Also, they appear to perform much better locks to friendly (blue) units. 3- The nose sensor appears to be quite blurry in distance. I am sometimes unable to properly ID targets farther that 10nm. 4- There seems to be several sound bugs with the plane. But the most common is that other aircraft are just too loud in my cockpit. I also found that bitching betty has some trouble understanding that the landing gear IS DOWN and sends multiple "Lower Gear" aural warnings. I need to raise and lower real quick to make her shut up. The other sound issue I found is that the early stages of engine start are pretty much the same as APU start sounds. 5- A Stall Warning isn't implemented? I know several planes don't have it, but in this plane is almost mandatory. 6- Is the real life GAU-12 this powerful that you can take out armored vehicles like Shilkas or Tunguskas? Really? 7- The Tarawa elevator platform is hollow and I plunged to the sea twice running over it. Thanks for your time. I hope it somehow helps or that you can correct me where I'm wrong.

Since this system is being designed for the F/A-18 Hornet, I would like to request that it too features on the A-10C in a future update. Please take a look at this article, not because of the cute girl (it's ok too), but because of what she's wearing on the Warthog cockpit... yes, a HMD system. This is such a great addition to the A-10C. Please consider this. http://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/4014/how-a-small-town-girl-ended-up-in-the-cockpit-of-an-a-10-warthog

Steam bought modules not showing in standalone
BlueAngel replied to BlueAngel's topic in Payment and Activation
Ah thanks, didn't know about this. The module manager eventually worked. :) Thanks anyway.
