Good luck spotting a fighter at 30-50 nm in the real world. BVR starts at around 15-20 nm depending on how big the air-frame is. The way it is now, seems fairly realistic. Also, you aren't going to see a smoke trail that far off either (at least I cant imagine you would, the trail is smaller thank the plane. Use your radar, that is what it is for.

I can see the dot with 2x MSAA and PD set to 1.3 in VR. Can see fighters at about 15nm and larger aircraft (tankers) at about 25nm.

I think he is messing with us all. Pay back for us being little jerks about "this week."

1) should be at a later date once ground radar and other ATFLIR / LITENING are added (i believe) 2) Correct, JHMCS will not see ground locked targets yet. 3) crating a waypoint at the given point, then TGT designating that waypoint 4) I believe the HSI is true to the IRL jet and Entry is the way it is due to DCS's layout. Pretty sure there was a thread on this too (i could be very wrong here. Someone chime in and confirm).
