  1. DCS_VREM.ini Here are the files. Worth noting that even for the color correction that works with no AA, the feature breaks down when MSAA2x is used, which should be working according to what you said. Thanks for taking a look. ReShade.rar
  2. Thanks, in 2D , if AA is turned off, color correction and sky deband work, but not dehaze. All generic Reshade effects also work fine in 2D. I am pretty sure I installed the latest Reshade in DirectX mode only with addon support. I reinstalled it twice. But I suppose the above indicates I did not do something right... Is there some way I can can confirm this, or some log/debug file to post?
  3. options.lua Here's the options I was using to test this.
  4. This time I used the graphics options that you posted in OP. Still no joy. I discovered that MSAA x2 messes up the cockpit color correction, but the other options still don't work even without any AA. Could it have something to do with Pimax using PimaxXR?
  5. I've installed the latest versions of reshade and Vrem again. Using Pimax Crystal. The only options that work are sky deband and color correction. Although color correction of the cockpit has no effects, and the external one affects everything. Dehaze still doesn't work for me. Ticking the new 'Activate in VR' option causes the game to instantly crash in VR.
  6. Yes, the Tomcat is tougher than most jets. Just the way they did the damage model. F15c gun is fine.
  7. You're right, The Spit cockpit was upgraded and is good. The outside is not as good, but I guess that's in the livery? I usually leave it default.
  8. This looks great, how much 'manual' effort did you have to put in VS using upscaling for the textures? It would be nice to get such a 4k upgrade for the Spit and Mustang.
  9. Yes and Yes, but it seemed to do more harm than good.
  10. I recently just removed process lasso and restored default CPU settings, it removed stuttering I was having in the main menu. Not sure if it's related.
  11. It looks like a copyright claim from JSC. They make the helicopters affected.
  12. Wrong. The trim hat does not move the AP set attitude, it doesn't have the same effect as pressing the trimmer and moving the stick.
  13. That's what I'd like to do, but without affecting the AP, I'm just setting myself for a large jerk whenever I have to use the trimmer.
  14. I have a question about trimmer button vs trim hat. Using the trim hat (FFB) moves the stick center, but not the AP. The hat just seems useless to me. The AP trim fights my input. In what scenario would using the trim hat be appropriate?
  15. You're overcomplicating things. You have to drop the GBU more or less on target for it to track. You need to follow some legit attack profile, not just drop it near a tacan. For this, you need to see the target. If you want to find your tomcat buddy, just use the radar and your eyes.
  16. I never saw any cloud radar returns using the Mig-21 (around 2 years). The image you posted must be older... My understanding is that the radar modelling is very basic here. We probably need to wait for a 21 upgrade for such advancements.
  17. I have 0 problem with trainers being in the game. Some people might just love the aircraft, want to roleplay, or use the second seat with someone. That's great. Personally, I don't have any and for me they don't offer much value. I learned jets on the F-5 which as I understand is very close to what the USAF use in their training, but single seat. It is also a viable combat jet with some campaigns to play. In DCS, trainers have next to no combat value, are not viable in any MP setting, and there are 0 official campaigns for them. I'm sure they're fun to fly, but so are combat jets. Now, if there was a quality campaign where you go through a realistic training and they actually teach you stuff, that would be more interesting. As is, I'd rather buy another combat a/c I don't have.
  18. Based on my knowledge of DCS, you are correct. All other ED modules will likely be updated soon, and for 3rd party modules it is up to their devs to do it.
  19. I have actually found two ways to fix this/workaround. First, if you set spring to 0 in Moza, the stick and trim positions will be corelated. But then you lose most/all of the Moza telemetry I suppose? Second, if you set the Y axis travel to a strong progressive (concave) curve with 100% spring, the positions are almost correct - good enough for flying. I am planning on mounting my Winwing stick to the base with a cable bypass, so I will not have hardware trim when I do so...
  20. I see what you mean with the default trim though. The fact it is not synced with the game won't let me trim nose down enough. It's not really flyable without hardware trim. Is there a bug report for this?
  21. I've found the issue. I had a vJoy recognized as a FFB device, and all the direct game input was going there. I wasn't getting it in my actual FFB base. After disabling it, trim works in props.
  22. I've found the issue. I had a vJoy device recognized as a FFB device, and all the direct game input was going there. I wasn't getting it in my actual FFB base. Now F-5 trim works without hardware trim, although it doesn't appear perfectly synced with the indicator. That's fine for me now.
  23. I actually found trim is not working at all for me in the Spitfire or P-47. Indicators and trim tabs move, but don't change the flight model. I also found that the F-5 has a special option for FFB trim following, but again it doesn't seem to work. Overall, something is fishy.
  24. Trim has no effect on the flight model. The indicator and trim tabs move, but do not influence the a/c. I've tried Direct, telemetry and integrated modes - same result. I am using the default Moza Spit profile. Same on the P-47 btw. Somehow, it works fine on the 109. Is this a bug, or am I missing something? If trim is implemented via trim tabs, I believe it should affect the flight model. I know a/c where trim just moves the neutral point work a bit differently. Here's a track: where I move the trim all the way nose down, then all the way up. Trim tabs visually move, indicators move, but there is no effect on flight. https://www.anonfile.la/0aa7bf Sorry for the link, but it won't let me upload files above 358 kB?
  25. Thanks. I have serious issues trimming the jet with this preset. It seems like hardware trim is not synced with the indicators in the jet. Without hardware trim, trim just doesn't work. Is there a way to not use hardware trim? Edit: it seems to match much better with following rate 2. But still, is there no way to not rely on it and sync it with the game automatically?
