  1. That caught a friend of mine as well a few days ago
  2. civil traffic especially on the Normandy map creates Massive stutters for me Try turning of civil traffic
  3. One of the issues is AI that will not use a runway that is damaged at all. this really can mess with a mission builder.
  4. I did not know that...thanx, but visable repair teams would indeed be really cool
  5. Definately agree, most dont even have windows untill you really close...no matter your settings. From a small distance they look like a 1985 game.
  6. It would be a great feature to be able to have runway repair teams, both for modern scenarios and WW2. The mission editor should allow this, so that a repair team can remove damaged planes and fix bomb craters.
  7. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, WELL DONE
  8. I agree completely. the only way around it is to have another Formo at the same base for you to use...but its a pain.
  9. if its about AI Wingmen not following...thats a different story, they DONT . just using the mission editor...an AI on its own will do multiple missions with a refuel/arm between each
  10. I tried with a JU88 and Mosquito....they can do multiple missions with a refuel rearm stop.
  11. Absolutely !! I will check for you, I have Transports flying multiple legs with fueling stops etc...
  12. Thats the way to go for sure
  13. I recently saw a post where a few chaps were saying that using the DLSS swopper really helped them with stutters and performance in general. Snag is ...after an update, we revert to the older version. Would DCS consider updating our registry with each patch...to stay with the updated DLSS ? Has anyone used it succesfully....is it a difficult process
  14. I get the same...mine are in a band right across the middle on my screen horizontally, really annoying
  15. This is Surely such a FUNDAMENTAL part of mission design..and its in the options..., the fact it does not work is Not good at all. Thank you for trying BIGNEWY....we live in HOPE
  16. The number of objects in the Approach paths on the Normany Map are just ridiculous. I created Rectangular Trigger zones...to cover every approach that was badly compromised....then used "Remove scenery" in that zone.....works perfectly
  17. My system, 8700K cpu, maximus x mobo, 64 Gb 3200mhz RAM, 2080ti GPU With these settings even on busy missions I have made, I get great FPS and smooth running....on all Maps
  18. Civil Traffic on the Normandy map is a killer....caused massive stutters for me. I have also set Grass to lowest possible, basically OFF...also helps
  19. where can we get the WW 2 ships ???? So Badly need them
  20. I think thats also a very valid point...the Trains issue is now really in need of attention, and in Normandy its Terrible
  21. I do have a MODS folder...but its not the issue, neither is any form of scripting etc, the Civil Traffic...is just the road traffic...directly from the mission editor. Turning it OFF really seems to smooth out my system.
  22. Noticed this a few days ago, as you zoom away from the B 17...but are still relatively close...all the internal structure, pilots etc vanish. Have not been aware of this before the last updates
  23. I think I have nailed the ROOT cause of the stuttering on my missions......CIVIL TRAFFIC. most of my " completed missions" have around 1500 total assets/units. give or take a few hundred does help the overall stuttering...but by far the Biggest cause is Civil Traffic. Turning it off and all my missions run smoothly.
  24. I have been trying to track down the cause of an irritating stutter, in my large missions. The stutter is metronomic...like a pulse. Reducing the complexity and number of units helped...with my system 1500 +_ total units is the limit for me. The cause of the Stutter would appear to be the CIVIL TRAFFIC. The moment my system gets loaded...civil traffic causes horrible stuttering. So...on all missions its now OFF...and they smooth as silk.
  25. Bouncing on landing...as you say Hazzer...can be many things. For me in the Stang...still to fast when the wheels touch for the first time is the main reason. If you going for a 3 point landing...hold off at 1 foot above the runway till she settles...if you doing a Wheeler...as the mains touch you must immediately check a touch forward, if you dont...a whole series of bounces of increasing severity is absolutely garenteed.
