  1. Same thing with Kiowa and Huey (maybe all modules). TACAN turned on with hot start. Not sure if its new but in audio theres a slider for Helmet. Turning that down lowers warnings and the TACAN.
  2. Not sure how much spread it should have but the laser accuracy does make it pretty hard to hit infantry or damage multiple nearby targets in a gun run.
  3. Logs can be found in Local Disc C / Users / Your Name / Saved Games / DCS / Logs You might want to post in DCS 2.9/Bugs and problems/ Install and operations/Game crash
  4. Do you have it set up as Instant Trim? Looks like what happens with Central Position trim mode if you release trim button and stick/rudders are not centered. Another thing to check is that Force Feedback is unchecked in Misc options. Some have had trim issues with that checked. Or maybe just how you're trimming. Are you maneuvering then quickly tapping trim or holding in trim, maneuvering, releasing trim. I tend to hold in trim while making adjustments with Kiowa since it doesn't get to squirlly with SAS disengaged.
  5. Have you cleared all double bindings in Pilot and Copilot input configs? Do you have Game mode /Simplified Flight Model selected in Game play Options? I don't have Caucasus loaded to test but I recall there being some conflict with either game or simulation mode and training missions.
  6. Plinkin with the APKWS and a dramatic B&W
  7. Point track will lock onto something or Area track to lock a spot around/ between targets.
  8. You only need to set them up in Pilot configuration. As long as you didn't bind anything else there in Copilot configuration they will carry over. They did this to make it easier to set up controls for flying solo.
  9. Turn on AI HUD overlay and you'll see what's happening. AI doesn't react instantly and tales a while to catch up so if you're speeding up when you release the indicator may be moved to 60 knots but you're only doing 50 so it continues speeding up. When disengaging AI your controls will be trimmed to wherever they were when you handed off, not where AI has them currently so I use control indicator overlay to put them close to where you think they should be before disengaging.
  10. AI Pilot on/off hands off to AI autopilot. Pilot HUD gives you an overlay to see alt, heading, speed adjustments. If you map AI controls to Pilot config they will also work with copilot as long as you didn't bind those buttons for copilot already.
  11. Maybe a binding conflict, Under Pilot controls weapons category I set up B, N, and M for drop L, drop Center, drop R and it works. Edit: Maybe works to well. It kept dropping extra smoke grenades. I do have unlimited ammo on so that may have caused this.
  12. OK. I think it was just me not realizing how long you have to hold down to get going. It responds quicker to change alt and turning. Mapping the HUD helps to see whats going on. Thanks.
  13. It would be nice if tapping lower altitude would stop it from climbing, Are you using the AI HUD? It shows a good visual for the adjustments.
  14. Is there any way to get out of hover mode and just start going forward if maybe you're out of range or just want to start moving to new location? I;ve tried increase speed and go to next waypoint and does nothing.
  15. I agree with all of this (especially the drinking when deciding to purchase part ). First impression is that its easy to pick up and fun to fly . Sounds and textures could be better but not so bad I regret buying. Does feel like a little laggy. Hopefully some optimization can help with framerates. Sure it needs to improve in some areas but IMO Polychop did a great job and delivered something i've been wanting to see in DCS for a long time.
