I have a Warthog throttle and like to have the throttles linked because it feels better since they dont wiggle about independently. I have no problems doing air to air refuelling this way but I only have a few 3 wire landings, mostly I get the 1 or 4 wire. Maybe its just a matter of training but I wonder if its required to "walk the throttles" as I heard its called in the real world. Do all real pilots walk the throttles when landing on the carrier? Is not doing it regarded as improper flying or is it a optional techniqe that some pilots use and others dont? In the real aircraft you cant link the throttles right? Just wondering if I have to unlink them to be able to fly the ball good or If I could have them linked and just practice more. Skickat från min D5503 via Tapatalk

Noticed something strange after updating to the latest version. In the Hornet I can always talk to the AI wingman even if I use the wrong radio, If I set Comm 1 to 255 MHz that is our flights frequency and Comm 2 to 130 MHz that is a JTAC in the mission it does not matter if I accidently call the wingman on Comm 2, he still answers. When I updated to 2.5.10 I get this error after pressing a TX button on my Hotas. I managed to replace the DLL with the one from 2.5.9 so it works for me again but I cant update anymore. Hello I can not hit anything with LGBs, they seem to land long. I use them with a JTAC that lases. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong? Also, is it possible to do a waypoint offset like in the Harrier or is this not implemented yet? Since its not in any manuals yet I cant know if it is possible now. Would be great for JTAC engagements where you get a reference from an IP and since from what I understand entrring the coordinates from the JTAC wont work since its the wrong format. Finally I fixed it! I removed the mod from the aircrafts folder and unzipped version 0.80 into it again and the navlights came back. Wierd, I dont get why the old files got corrupted some how. Skickat från min D5503 via Tapatalk

I cant get contacts from AWACS on the SA page, I only get them there from my RWR, not my radar either. Im starting missions with runway start and am on release version. I have tried with both E2 and E3 AWACS and have LTWS on. Is it something that is not implemented in the release version? Or am I missing something? Is LTWS on needed to display contacts from donors on the SA page? I would think it should not but I dont seem to get them with it off. I would like to use LTWS off until I learn the basics of the radar better but still have AWACS give me the big picture on the SA page to give me better situational awareness Skickat från min D5503 via Tapatalk

I have also spent some time trying to get a view in game in the different aircraft that feels realistic. I use Track IR though and dont like the fisheye view in many DCS Youtube videos. However I suspect that the real pilots lower their seatbucket and that the angle of attack makes you sit more leaned back so that you can look through the HUD. I run the warthog with Target, and sometimes I get both Thrustmaster Combined and Thrustmaster Warthog Stick in the DCS controlls tabs causing a dual mapping, in my case of the Pitch. Check if you have some other controller mapped to your roll axis Skickat från min D5503 via Tapatalk
