  1. Yes they are, that is why I fly the Su25T in Georgia and the F15C in Nevada.
  2. There is one key thing missing for the Viggen through: The theater. The Viggen is misplaced in Georgia, Nevada and France. I sure hope the Viggen theater is not affected by these changes..
  3. Hi everyone Does anyone know if it is possible to tweak some lua-file to limit the random skill setting in the mission editor so that units never gets for example Excellent skill? It would also be nice to be able to exclude Average to.
  4. I have got it to. Bought the Su25, noticed the bugs, could not stand them and uninstalled the module. Sad because I wanted to fly it. :(
  5. Im sure you are right about that, I havent tested VR. Maybe there can be a option to enable or disable limiting of the viritual head then. But Im very suprised that this can be something that is ok in a realistic sim. Im hoping that it is a bug. All aircraft have different benifits and drawbacks, in the Viggen for example you should have harder to look behind you compared to the F15 which has a bubble canopy. But that is put out of play if you just can stick your head through the canopy and check your six. I only fly single player but I wonder how this is handled in muliplayer. I think that it should be limited and if somebody with VR cheats by sicking their head through the canopy I dont mind them getting sick :)
  6. I totally agree, I dont have VR, only Trackir but thats how it works in the F15C and the Su25T.
  7. I have been reading in the manual about this to try to understand how it works in the real aircraft. From what I have read I am under the impression that the trigger is in T0 when released and then T1 on the first detent and TV on the next. If that is right then it should be able to map in TARGET to the trigger on the Warthog stick so it works exactly like that: T1 on the first detent TV on the second detent T0 on release of the first detent You would have to launch the maverick for example with another button and with the trigger pressed in the second detent because if you release it it will go back to T0 and go boresight. But as I said that is how I belive it works in the real thing but I may be wrong. I havent tried it myself though because I just thought of it now and am at work :) However I dont understand at all what the difference is in DCS between the ordinary T0,T1, TV inputs and the "Tree stages button" in options.
  8. I never use the keys when I fly but as Ice_Cougar I can also move myself outside the aircraft and sit on the inlet and look into the cockpit for example. But I dont do that because I only use TrackIr and in the F15 and Su25T I cant put my head through the canopy. I am using the proper neck mod, however I did a test just now and removed the server.lua and it did not change.
  9. I have been searching the forum to see if somebody else has reported this but I havent found any other post about it. Its very simple, when I have my Trackir on I can lean outside of the aircraft through the closed canopy.

  11. Im trying to make a snapview for a realistic default view, a view that I would se if I was sitting in the real aircraft. I have been sitting in a real one but the seat must have been lowered as much as possible because I sat to low so I cant compare to that. How should the view be to be realistic? If I look at the pilot in the external view and on photos of real pilots I think it looks like the pilots eyes are in the same height as the top of the side mirrors and over the top of the HUD-glass. If I set the seat height like that I cant really see anything in the HUD. Should I not be able to see the flight path indicator when in level flight and the HUD-glass in the raised position? My default view is like in the picture now, I can then see stuff in the HUD but my eyes are lower then the real pilots, if I turn my head my eyes are about level with the underside of the lower of the two headrests.
  12. Im using a Hotas Warthog, I mapped it just like you did, but if I would press your JOYBTN4 the flight controls would not be responding as long as I would be pressing it down to steer the RB05. I remapped it to some keys on the keyboard instead and that works ok but I was just curius to see if it worked for you.
  13. I was standing on the runway with a AI wingman and switching on my lights and noticed that he did not turn on his the same way that I did. There is less settings for lights in FC3 obviously but there they follow what I do. If I turn on my navigation lights my wingman turns on his also along with his formation lights even if I have my formation lights off. The navigation lights is the only thing that he follows, I can never get him to turn on his anti-collision lights or position lights. And if I only have my formation lights on he does not turn his on. Im just posting this to see if somebody else noticed this and to say that it would be great if it would be fixed so that he (and wingman 3 and 4 also) follows how I set my exterior lights.
  14. Do you have the flight controls still working when the modifyer is applied? I was trying to get this to work with a switch on the throttle like you but I had to have the flightcontrols mapped to an axis plus the same axis and the modifyer to still have control of the aircraft when I was in for example RB05 mode. And that did not work for me because axis tune did not save for me then when I had two axis inputs on the same flightcontrol.
  15. I totally agree its a must. As I Voiceattack-user I would be fine with if the Jester-commands could be assigned to the keyboard, then I could just map it to Voiceattack. It works flawlessly for me with the radiomenu now so I hope it will work with Jester also!
  16. Checked the files, they where not write-protected. However, I finaly figured it out and got it to work! I hade made a setup where I used a switch on my throttle as a modifyer that made the hatswitch on the throttle control the RB05 missile instead of the radarstick as it normaly controls in my setup. To be able to control the aircraft and turn my head with Trackir when using the RB05 I had to assign both an axis and the same axis with the modifyer for each axis input. The UI lets you assign more than one input for axis controls like with keys but when it is done the axis tune stops working completly. So it must be a little bug but I personaly dont think it needs to be fixed because I dont think many people tries to set it up like I did. I just made another solution to my controls for the RB05 so now everything is ok :)
  17. Now the Viggen is in the release version, unfortunately I still cant use axis tune at all because it will not stay saved. Is this a confirmed bug that is in the pipeline to be fixed?
  18. I would also like it faster, the best would be if it could be like it is now with another keybinding that is much faster, perhaps 5x. Or 10x if that is possible to control. You could then map it to two keys and then use the same with a mod key like Shift or Alt to fine tune it.
  19. I tried both in the aircraft and from the menu from the main screen but it will not save, when I check again its back to standard linear curve. I have only come across it with the Viggen in the openbeta, hopefully it will be fixed when it is released in the release version because something is not right.
  20. Im having problems with axis tune as well, I cant save any curves or settings like slider. When I re-enter axis tune they are gone.
  21. It should be a knob for contrast aswell. (The sight is called EP-13, I named the tread wrong and cant change it..)

  23. I may be blind, but is the knob for adjusting brightness for the EP-13 sight missing in the cockpit? I cant find it on the left side. (By the way, the module is awsome!)

No need for a screenshot because your answer solved it for me :) I was trying to figure it out in the description.lua and many other places so I never thought of deleting the tailnumber in the mission. I was under the impression that a aircraft had to have a tailnumber. But when I deleted it it turned out right, Thanks!
  25. Cant get it to work I cant get it to work, I would be very happy if I could use the Aggressor skins in 2.0. The tailnumbers get written twice somehow. Does anybody else have this problem and any fix for it? Or could uscstaylor do a version with this fixed because I like them very much..Please :)
