Swiss Airbases do have cables at both ends of the runway, including emergency barricades like seen on the US carrier which can be raised to trap the aircraft as last resort. The cables are inside the concrete of the runway in order to prevent the damage of the undercarriage of the aircrafts, like cessnas ;-)

Hi I have the P51 and I am constantly getting outperformed by the BF109 and the FW190. The P51 looks like a better A/G performer. How is the spitfire in terms of dogfighting?

Hi I have been trying to generate quick missions and whenever I set the map to Normandy and select my P51D, then my oponents are SU27, MIG29 and SA3 ... Is there any way to prevent that the mission generator uses post war elements? Thanks

Its the reality for a Swiss Airforce Pilot. Air-to-air, sleeve target shooting in the Wallis, arrested landing practice and for a very little amount of pilots, carrier qualification in the US. For Sidewinder shooting SAF goes to Nevada anyway ;) We already got that map. I have flow so many CAP sorties in the 80th/90th and not a single encounter. For me, this would be sufficient to have a perfectly simulated F/A-18C with the Swiss map.

Hey So many people, every year come to Switzerland, even from Australia and New Zealand just for the sake of see the life firing of our Air Force in the Axalp Shooting Ranch. Why not to build Switzerland Map and the four main Airbases, LSMM, LSMP, LSMM, LSGS The Axalp shooting ranch would be fun to fly, specially in the narrow mountains We got the Tiger F5 We will get the F/18C very soon All that lacks is a very little country ;) Thanks

Hello Is there a way to select a skin for a F-5 or the TF-51? As much as I try to find a way, it always will select one randomly if I start a quick flight. I want to apply Swiss Air Force skins to all aircrafts that I fly. Thanks for help
