P3D has real weather and the possibility of historical weather when using ActiveSky. I think even in battle, it is not always nice weather and a dynamically changing weather situation makes the sim more challenging as a sim. You will have to plan better your weapon deliveries, like on real life. If you want to fly around and play war, probably you should not use a sim and rather change over to a game. World of Warplanes and War thunder might be better suitable.

I had three crashes yesterday after the patch. Vanilla install does crash as much as if I move my mods back. This release is pretty unstable in VR. Cockpit, when it loads, loads extremly slow. Mission take felt 5min to start.

I really don't like the P47. There are plenty of other warbirds which I would love to see before any P47.

I found that it is mission dependant For testing I created a mission myself. BF109 + a Fieseler Storch as target aircraft Kill is added. Went back to the other mission with dynamic elements. Killed 2 P51, confirmed by debrief, not added to the BF109 logbook kills. So the issue is with this mission. No idea what reason.

Hi I got a very strange issue. I recently shot down 4 P51 with my BF109. They don't get added to my logbook. The pilot could bailout. I see that if I fly the F5E, then the kills are added. Any idea?

Hi I have been observing the Bf109 recently quite a few time. I am astonished how much time in a dogfight the Bf109 can fly constantly at high G. I cann see the wingtip vortice the whole time, 3min+. I don't believe that is realistic. Specially the Bf109 AI does this steep pull upwards, it pulls over and the comes down to me again and in the flyby the vortice stay. I am not an expert on the BF109 flight model, but it does not appear to be right. Cheers Martin

Hi Daniel I have tried using SteamVR too. No issue. I am having an Oculus CV1 I am using the SteamVR, which reads "Beta". Would need to check the build. Don't know. Game freeze was there before VR, thats not related. I have it in 2D mode too. Middle of the mission and DCS freezes forever. Have you done the same situation without VR?

I am really surprised about how much complaints of fps I read in DCS forums. Just for reference, and then you can continue complaining. In XP 11.20 VR5 I get with Oculus on roughly 22-25 fps, I get around 90fps with TrackIR. In P3DV4.2 I get 15-20fps with VR singlepass and with TrackIR 35fps. If I use the VRS F18 in P3D, my frames drop between 8 and 15fps. I am stucked at 45fps in DCS and Oculus VR. This is what I read on screen. I can fly fluid, no stutters, nothing in DCS 2.5. I can fly fast complex jets and have no restrictions. Pure fun. Please go on now ...
