Wearing glasses - seriously!? You have to look into the hardware, rather than the software. If you're not seeing clear, that has nothing to do with the software. Electronic viewfinders (EVF) in mirror less cameras, when looking into the viewfinder with glasses, the distance to the screen is relevant. This is why you can adjust it to some extend. With some limitations on a scale +1 to -3. While you can adjust the glass of the Oculus sideways, the distance to the glass is fixed. You have to regulate the distance using the VRCover. They offer two different distances for the Oculus. The biggest issue of the Oculus is to wear glasses inside. I would love to have some dioptr correction too.

I got 45 fps steady in VR. I found no way to go faster with my rig. On big GPU hog, set cockpit resolution from 1024 every frame to 1024 ;)

Wenn ich den FC3 oder die A10 Box habe, so gilt , genau so wie bei Microsoft auch primär das Gesetzt des Landes. Zudem ist das Paket mit der Lizenz dann mein. Keiner, und auch nicht Microsoft kann mit den EULA mir meine Recht Wegbedingen diese Box wieder zu verkaufen. Zumindest nach Schweizer Recht ist das so. Ich kann demnach mein FC3 an jemanden weiterverkaufen. Ganz legal. Online, mag es sein dass es zwar hunderte von EULA gibt. Wenn ich allerdings eine Lizenz kaufe, nicht lease, bin ich Eigentümer und damit auch berechtigt diese an jemanden zu verkaufen. Anders ist es natürlich bei Lizenz Leasing (Adobe CC od. O365). Da habe ich ein Nutzungsrecht welches mir nicht erlaubt diese Weiterzugeben. Das spiel mit der Microsoft Box habe ich schon durchgespielt. In der Schweiz geht das. Konsumentenrecht. Fragt mal einen schlauen Rechtsverdreher in DE. Normalerweise ist das ziemlich ähnlich wie CH.

In deinem user profil gib es einen Ordner "Gespeicherte Spiele". Darin enthalten ist ein dcs.openbeta. Dort findest du sowohl einen fxo als auch einen Shader Ordner "metashaders" Ich lösche immer beide nach einem Nvidia Treiber update und nach einem DCS World update. Bei nächsten mal starten dauert es dann etwas länger zum starten. Nicht verzweifeln, DCS ist nicht abgestürzt. Du wirst beim Starten einer Mission jedoch sicher 4-5 min gefühlt keine Fortschritt im Ladebalken sehen. Einzig das HDD Led zeigt noch Aktivität. ;) Beim zweiten mal ist es dann wieder gewohnt schnell. Lg Martin

Hi Today I went for a ride on the F5E-3. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or the system does not work as I would expect it to be. I am perfectly able to switch the GEN Switches to OFF position or the Radar knob to OFF. But there is no way to switch it back into the opposite direction. Any idea?

Not sure if a pilot is able to zoom in real life ;) I think the Vive Pro will have much better image quality. Already the Vive is a step up from the Oculus, from what I heard. Maybe worth a thought

Hi Over the past weeks I have been flying with my Spitfire. I tried several missions but in the end flying on the Blue side with the Spit is not half as fun as flying on the Red side with The BF109. Why? Well, it looks like the Spit runs our of rounds twice as fast as the Bf109. I maybe shoot down one or two Stukas, then back to base for replenishing the ammo. Which leads to a mission fail, as the second wave of Stukas will be able to hit the radar before I make it back in the air. With the Bf109 I get the 4 spit and still got ammo left. Is this just my impression or does the Spitfire have less ammo?

Well, let us hope that the system depth is at the level of the Falcon 4 F-16 and not the Janes F-18 or the Aerofly FS F-18. ;)

Agreed. I manage a Google GSuite platform with 115k seat. Each little change requires me to run through a CAB. Even if the managers sitting in that CAB don't understand 90% of the changes, it does not reliefe me from doing proper testing and risk assessment. If the changes fails, these CAB managers will anyway blame me. Oculus broke their service recently too, bluntly ignoring a certificate renewal date. They gave us 15 USD compensation. The Oculus App is "Beta" too. DCS 2.5 is "Beta" and GSuite is always behaves like beta ;)

Indeed. It is nice to have the Normandy. I am fiddling around with ME right now to figure out on how to place objects. In World Editor for X-Plane this is much easier. You can see the objects and accurately place them. Once this is done, we can start building BoB missions. I really don't get "Adlertag" ready of the airbases are not nicely done.

Hi Recently I have been trying to build some objects around the airports. AA gun emplacement with surrounded sand bags or checkpoints at the road. Unfortunately I am not able to place and align the sandbags properly around the AA unit. Any tips on how to make it look nicely?

I tried to do a big wing with the HE111. It would only allow me to add one plane per group. Is that normal?

Its a beta. To be honest, I have seen worse beta than DCS 2.5. So please play nicely. Its annoying, I know. But at least it is working. LR screwed XP11 much more than ED on their betas.
