    BIP ?

This time, they forgot to check : ${1} Shit Happens !
  2. Hello, What buttons are you talking about? The whole cockpit? Any particular one? Personally, everything is readable, sometimes zooming in on it of course!
  3. Many thanks for sharing:book:
  4. Of course I am aware of that, but this is not about gardening. ;) Dcs is a sandbox that is constantly evolving. They therefore also have the need to adapt to it, to deal with it. The Mirage 2000 is their first module and already it is very well done despite some flaws that do not prevent them from flying and enjoying as much in solo as in multiplayer. Razbam has matured, they have learned a lot and at their expense. They have just accumulated a lot of experience and we can see this maturity growing with the modules they come out with. You have to be honest, they need money to live and they can't stop all the projects and restart al they have done. And the chance we have is that they won't give up! They met a French fighter squadron! Who opened their doors to them, it's fantastic and a first on a French fighter! We all know that, they're working hard on it. They're not perfect in comms but in any case, there will always be grumblers and disgruntled people! Unless they are humbled, they should count on our trust and above all on our unwavering benevolence. They are loyal and there can be no doubt about it, they prove it. I don't think we can measure how much this meeting with the Air Force must have opened up new perspectives for them. They rediscovered the Mirage and also the understanding, the logic of functioning of some systems. I am even sure that at this very moment they must regularly ask for confirmations or additional information on what they have learned. Without setting the bar too high, all their modules will benefit from this experience. We see it on all software and video game creations today, it takes time for the finish to be perfect. Falcon BMS is the first example, both when it was released and now 21 years later. I understand your point of view but I do not support it. They deserve to be defended and they know it, it's so easy to add more and more layers (they're not deaf, they're just working), but doing their job is not that simple and they're admirable. We who love aeronautics, they allow us to take advantage of it by bringing their originality to it, in the choice of planes and fields to come. A little personal touch, regularly when returning from flight, the pilots had enough to complain about their planes (radar failures, fuel failures, defective inert weapons, avionics failures, birdstrikes, etc...), and yet it helped us to progress, to level up, to become better professional. 5. In real life, For a mechanic, he must spend a year in school (minimum!) to learn the general information about : Aerodynamics The mechanics of flight engines (jet, turboprop, etc.) Flight controls The braking process the landers Fuel systems The hydraulic circuits Non-destructive testing The generalities aircraft Technical and logistical management Embedded systems The oxygen function The pressurization air conditioning Armament (the bases) Electricity aeronautical materials Aircraft easements etc... Just after, he arrives in a unit, and there he will learn that he knows nothing! he leaves for a minimum of 1 to 2 months of training on the aircraft in question and then he will be sponsored by the elders and after a few years, he will be considered as "dropped" on a machine only. And I'm not talking about avionics, electricians, armourers, servitudes or even pilots..... There, you have a French plane, with few documentation, software engineers who are not specialists, aeronautical maintenance personnel and even less combat pilots. They must translate into their languages, learn, understand (understand each other), interpret and adjust and then translate into computer language from scratch. (and go ahead with French logic.......) Not long ago, they met a fighter squadron from the French Air Force (it's quite exceptional) who introduced them, explained and asked them a lot of information about the Mirage. As a result, their understanding of it was necessarily turned upside down! And you seriously and sincerely believe that in a few months they will correct you all this!?? Come back to earth, enjoy what you already have and be patient, it will happen! My two cents... (And as an old FalconBMS driver i was, 3-4 weeks, doesn't matter) Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator
  6. I would just like to send a message of encouragement to the whole team, thank you for your work. Stay on course. Not only here, but everywhere you can read messages of impatience, misunderstanding (like, it should already be fixed, but if it were that simple you'd already have the perfect simulator, right?). Some people should remember that their mother did not make them in a hurry (yes?). So give time to time, and instead of pressing F5 all the time, go to the cinema, take care of your loved ones, and when you come back you will have the good surprise to see that things have evolved, at their own pace, but they are evolving! You have the choice to live in the meantime, enjoy it. There's nothing serious in this world, unless you lose your life
  10. Wahou ! Superbe !
  11. The chocolate's tiger !:megalol: It was his name ;)

Maybe you should uninstall vidéo card driver with DDU : https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html And re-install them just after. I'm playing with a RX 570 ARMOR 8G, with the last drivers, and no problem occurs.

    M2000

Did you try to reinstall the module ? Or maybe, just in first repair DCS world ?
  14. Ok, misunderstanding
  15. yes, I noticed, but more convenient to have it in local time, it's just an opinion:imho:
  16. Received Loud and Clear :joystick: It should be great to go further with the INS :) Just a question, why the clock in the mirage cockpit isn't start with the beginning time of the mission ? It could be useful to follow the flight plan/rendez-vous and work with the INS. Thanks.
  17. What are you talking about ? Terrain following radar or only avoidance ? In all cases, it's a Mirage 2000 C not D or N. His job is Air to Air combat, and a little bit Air to Ground attack (basic). And so the RDI cannot be used to "see" the ground.
  18. Hello Baltic_Dragon, So just before, I upgrade my hardware. Ram grows up to 16Gb (4x4Gb dual channel), and my graphic card is now a MSI Radeon RX 570 ARMOR 8Go OC (instead of GeForce GTX 660 - 2 Go). I tried again the mission, and then, no more CTD. The big difference, it's the hardware, and just before the upgrade my hard drive was always on the run and so the mission, maybe, pretty ask to much to my pc. But as you say, nothing really exciting happen in the mission, only the C-130 was there. Now, with your changes in the new file, it's much better, we fight against the L-39s and shot down the C-130 with our guns :) Thanks for the job ! That's really nice (and very strange to hear our voices during the campaign ;) )
  19. No news ?
  20. Hello Baltic_Dragon, I'm sorry, but I had the same problem described in the first post with the Leader. (And he doesn't follow any speed or altitude prescribed by the flight plan) And, every time i arrived on station to rejoin the AWACS : CTD... exactly at the same moment, i do nothing else just flying (no radar check, or radio comms, or cockpit managing) What is going on ? I don't know ... I tried with the mission by default, installed with DCS, and the new one : same ! Could you check this ?
  21. I didn't try on the other side of th runway, i'll check asap :)
  22. Ahh I'm not alone... Same problem on a multi-mission made with MOOSE. Don't understand why, i test 3 times, never ILS worked. I wonder if it necessary to have a flight plan, cause it was free flight with no waypoints.
  23. Excellent ! Merci pour ce partage commémoratif ! Thank you for this commemorative sharing!
  24. If you read 'French', you can also try this post : 'How to calculate easily your bingo' http://www.checksix-forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=145162 Cheers, HiCKS
  25. Rooo, I'm Sad. Too much job to update the missions ? Maybe could you tell us how you create this missions and maybe we can try to follow your way ?
