Civil aircraft not showing I'm sure that some while ago there was a version of this mod that worked. I cannot get the images on screen or in mission editor. I see the heat-blur from engines, hear noise. Even a label. Sadly that's all I get for now. In the short term I have found some stress relief. I found a solution (guaranteed) a Problem solver button.

Although I have had this mod installed and working previously. I have noticed that..... 11/10/2019 Aircraft invisible. If I turn on labels, they show as 747 or whatever. However they don't show on screen or map. Playing Open Beta, not sure how to get version number. Was updated in last couple of days. Wait, I found version number 2.5.5. 39003 (that's the game) version number 0.80 (that's the MOD)

looking to install latest version. Downloaded latest zip file. Unable to see installer? Is it missing? never had this as an issue before, just used to unzip downloaded folder and there it was. DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone-master is the zip file I downloaded. Don't remember "master" being there before. Is that why? still cannot see "installer"

Here's just a thought. Title them as templates for the F-16. Just a thought.

I have a number of controls plugged into a powered HUB. Stick, Throttle, Cougar MFD's(2), Home made button box, Max falcon 20RGB keypad, Pedals. I think that's all. No problems whatsoever.

Could try looking up "release of cockpit pressure" before opening canopy. Its the "tap" looking thing on the right side of seat. I got stuck in that aircraft for a while and that is how I got out. Maybe that will work for you. Good Luck

I have not started to re-install just yet, do you think it's a good idea? I have back ups of everything, including backups of the backups. I have some days off work from tomorrow and coffee. What say ye?

Not got around to that. Crash log, what’s that? Spoke this morning to a passenger who gave some advice. All the attempts to fix this issue, plug/unplug install/uninstall/re-install could mean that I have inadvertently ended with a "mod soup" I may have created a circumstance of masking the problem, with the cure. Or, I may have cured the problem although now masked that, with this leftover soup mix. It was suggested, and to me makes sense, to perform a "clean" install of os. Do nothing with it but test speech (as this feature seems so desperately important) Using ONE microphone. Advised the one with the webcam was ok (ish). Now the odd bit. If speech does not work, the advice was to then re-install another copy of os. Don't use the same stick, go and get another copy, wipe the usb and from the wabsite create a new install copy. The explanation for this was that not every install is perfect. If microsoft download contains an error, that’s going to cause issues. Windows is not infallible. All this talk of soup has made me hungry, and also curious enough to consider the extra happenings taking place. The blue screen hang, for example. It’s not a biggy. I can do it, it’s an achievable goal. I will do that. And eat something. .

Yes now OK, the blue screen has gone somewhere else???? Among the microphones I have there is one part of a web cam. Logitech C 190 HD Pro. I did try it once, seemed to work. I will dig it out and plug that in. Worth a try.

Two plugged in, one plugged in makes no difference now. All I have for last 9hrs is blue screen. Win+H used to bring up a record window from memory. All mic's here record voice and sounded clear on playback. Just blue screen. Goes through BIOS, then blue screen.

Logitech G533 Gaming Headset Has cordless ability but plugged in to usb. Is set as default. Speech to text issue. Having spent 18 months trying to find a cure for an issue with speech recognition on windows 10 pro. V 1809 Build 17763.379 I have reached an impasse. A wall. I'm stuck. Some conflict between motherboard and software is preventing me from utilizing VoiceAttack. I found that program to be something truly wonderful. My 70yr old fingers find it very difficult to spread themselves across the keyboard. My eyes seem about the same age as my fingers, they don’t work like they used to. That program used to work on my machine. It worked really well. I do remember a large (ish) update from microsft. You must have....bla bla bla. Since that update, no speech recognition. No VoiceAttack. For some reason was not able to uninstall that update. Please don’t tell me to go to device manager. Please don’t tell me to go to audio properties. Please don’t tell me to go to reinstall windows. Please don’t tell me to go to ask microsoft. Please don’t tell me to go to asus motherboard. Please don’t tell me to buy another microphone. Please don’t tell me to check plug. Please don’t tell me to check cable. Trouble shooter tells me microphones are working correctly. (Sometimes without one plugged in ????) Yes the microphones work in other appliances. Yes the microphones work with other software. Yes windows registers microphone on setup....Peter prefers bla bla the green line is hearing my voice however it immediately shuts down setup and tells me I have no microphone. microsoft helpline, no help.
