  1. Before trying to install it for a day with my snail internet connection: how big is the F-16C download?
  2. Oh mommy, its groundhog day again!
  3. Thanks, will do so!
  4. Happened on multiplayer server in Ka-50 a few minutes after join. No mods used, no silly antivir programs (just Windows Defender), Windows, graphics driver and the like up to date. Deleted and rebuilt the savedgames folder after i updated to 2.5.6 yesterday, ran a repair back then too like on every update. Logs attached, give me a call when you need anything else. Please drop me a short message when you got the logs ZIP downloaded. Cheers!
  5. You're welcome, glad i could help. Was a shot in the blue tbh, first thing that came to my mind :D
  6. Did you try renaming your DCS folder in savedgames? Stuff in savedgames doesnt get touched by the updater/repair, maybe some old stuff still sitting there causing trouble.
  7. To the left of the Skhval HUD indicator circle there is a thin vertical line. Its barely visible and only in normal zoom, once you zoom in it disappears. Hard to see on a static pic but when you move the circle around the HUD youll notice.
  8. Been testing the Ka-50 (search light broken), Su-25A (landing/taxi light broken); A-10C (landing/taxi light look fine); AJS-37 (landing/taxi light looks fine). Didnt test them all but im pretty sure all FC3 planes are broken at least. DCS 256_44266 landing-search lights broken.trk
  9. Entries in the columns get a bit mixed up :) when hitting a key or button/switch in the controls setup screen. Moving the horizontal scroll bar fixes this.
  10. Crybabyism intensifies.
  11. ED please change your simulation based on "the feel"™, we don't seem to need this "as close to the real thing as possible" anymore. :helpsmilie:
  12. Its always the same: folks™ are just that super hardcore sim guy more serious™ than 'all these other wannabes' out there and then, when things get changed towards being more real (like, damn things casting shadows like they do in the real thingy) and it interferes with their accustomed play style and comfy level they start crying. Its the same we recently had with the A-10C pit: first all "ED gib more reel pit we so reel", then "ED cant see muh panel anymore because that seat handle is now where it is in reality!!!! ED change now my game broken!!!!". Theyll get used to it once it hits stable and the crying will fade away :pilotfly:
  13. You received the answer youve been asking for, why the crying? :book:
  14. Only one to tell me im in the wronk thread is muh mommy. Im fine here, thanks.
  15. We post in both, the praise thread and the cry thread :megalol:
  16. *wooot wooot* usual DCS crytrain above. Ignore them ED, new pit is awesome so far. You guys did a great job again.
  17. Exactly. What did OP expect to receive with the given info?
  18. Buy bigger monitor.
  19. Mein Hahn ist steinhart! Freitag Nachmittag ausreichend bevorraten, Fenster und Türen verschließen, Vorhänge zuziehen => Montag früh.
  20. Yet another bad case of "moooooh runway" :D
  21. Pro advice: learn how antivirus programs work, what false positives are, then stop blaming people who did nothing wrong. Live's so easy and entertaining when you're educated. Love it!
  22. :megalol: Jesus my sides.
  23. Recommending this and the other 20 "muh warthog pit dark" threads for some good laughs :megalol: No-calibraters are the flat-earthers of DCS, its hilarious.
  24. Id suggest people calibrate their monitors, but then people will cry "must decalibrate muh monitor after each night mission and recalibrate for daylight mission" again  So i dont :D  :megalol:
  25. Anti-Virus programs cant and wont magically protect you from threats out there, they can just protect you from threats that have been detected, analysed and defined by the antivir company. Depending on the threat and company this can take from a few hours and days to weeks or even month with threats being not spread widely. They naturally hang back for quite some time and in the meantime you are 100% vulnerable to this threat and by believing you are "protected" and surfing the web like being in god mode is the easiest way to catch something bad. You can click that link, you are "protected", arent you? I actually suggest to leave the computer "unprotected" as Mobi call it (Windows Defender is all you need) and act accordingly, think twice before you download this "free" thingy or click this link in that email you just received. Antivir programs wont save you from anything if you act stupid and if you act clever youll never need one. To use your analogy: using antivir programs is like being vacced against a certain flu variant and then bravely walking through a Corona-hospital because "you are safe". You are, right? Because the vac you received 2 month ago already knew how next month flu virus variant would look like, youre also automagically immune to other virus types like corona and it also cures cancer and athletes foot, right? I bet your kids are vacced and you let them smoke 2 packs a day because... well, they are protected, right?:pilotfly:
