For some time now i got the problem that my SRS keyboard (joystick buttons seem to work) binds (change radio up/down, the grey radio overlay toggle) dont work in DCS anymore (ctrl-shift-ESC toggle still working tho, guess because its integrated into DCS directly and not external). While i have the SRS application window (not the grey radio overlay) in foreground, it works all fine but stops once i tab back into DCS. Same goes for my OpenTrack keyboard binds, here too joystick binds work. Other program's keybinds on the other hand work just fine (NVidia Exp. recording shortcuts for example). Anyone else experiencing this? Any workaround to get keyboard shortcuts back working?

Hm, installed it via OvGME but for some reason i still get vanilla sounds. No change at all. edit: nvm, got it working. Was putting the sound files in the wrong folder O.o Thanks a lot!

Anyone still using this successfully or is it defunct?

Just put together a load of kneeboard pages for the hog: checklists, maps, procedures, threat/CMSP settings charts... one is easily hitting 50+ pages and i already threw out the default pages that bloat this even more (vanilla maps/charts). Big +1 on this wishlist item.

Anyone knows how to remove all of the default KB pages (autogenerated flightplan map plus the default aerodrome/visual approach charts)? Tried messing with the lua files in the kneeboard/indicator folder but im not into lua at all, was just shooting blind with no success. I got custom KB of everything i need (approach charts, checklists etc.) and the default stuff is just littering my KB. Annoying to browse through these additional 20+ default pages i got zero use for. Cheers edit: a modified indicator lua also does not pass IC as i just saw O.o

I really dont want to multi-bind my HOTAS buttons and wont mess with modifiers (not to mention the TM target software, that thing is an unusable mess. No way). Thing is: keyboard shortcuts worked in the past and it was fine that way. What has changed, why has it changed and how do i get my shortcuts working again?

Since lately, external keyboard shortcuts stopped working for me in DCS. Have my Opentrack re-center function on the keyboard, SRS keys too for selecting channels and showing overlay. If i got the Opentrack/SRS client windows open while having DCS running in the background, the keys works as intended. Once i tab back to DCS, the keys stop working. Putting the shortcuts on a Joystick button works fine but i got no buttons where i could put them (flying A-10C with TMWH). Anyone else having this issues? Any workaround?

Sitting on Al Dhafra runway requesting takeoff, ATC gives a QFE of 29.87. If setting the altimeter to that QFE, the altimeter shows a negative altitude. See attached image. Something's off here :P

Scientists lately discovered a specimen of the until now believed to be extinct Ilyushin-Dolphin in the Persian Gulf. He got designated "specimen IL-78M" by them. They also managed to take some short footage showing the little rascal healthy and playful in the Strait of Hormuz.

Oh, i was still using an old shortcut i made for my task bar (one for starting DCS without updater, one for beta updater only). Issue fixed. Thanks a lot for the quick response :pilotfly:

When starting DCS (2.5.6.47404 OB) and going to the modules manager, i get presented the list of modules currently available to install. I deselected all but one (F-16C in this case) and hit the install button. DCS closes with no error message but without any download too sadly. Thought it might have been a matter of SSD space but 77GB free should be sufficient for the F-16C module i guess?

There so far is no evidence the Ugroza has ever been built into the Ka-50. And no: Wikipedia linking to a nowadays unexistent dubious website which claims Ugroza is real in a 5 paragraph article without giving any source is no evidence. Period. This is a simulation, not a "but i want!!" fairy tale. ED won't implement this without proper evidence no matter the crybaby-factor.

Posts here are very helpful (thanks for posting), but having it fully implemented by ED still is my no. 1 wishlist item for the BS. Having all buttons and switches implemented in the controls setup like they are in the A-10C would be awesome.

Common sense wise, its the same caliber so there should be no problem. But on the other hand... "should"... Since theres two separate magazines, the ammo type selection switch probably controls if ammo from magazin 1 (HE) or magazin 2 (AP) is used. Since AP/HE differ in weight, ballistics will differ too. Hence i assume the calculation of the gun CCIP (by the K-041) is controlled by the ammo type selection switch too. This would end up using e.g. HE in both magazines but one magazin using AP ballistics calculation (no matter if you have 500 rounds HE loaded, if magazin 1 is empty youve got to flip the ammo type selection switch to magazin 2 which also changes ballistics calculation for CCIP). On the other hand there could be ground crew operated switches on the magazines itself or the like, giving an option to define loaded ammo types and change that behaviour (these switches would control how the K-041 calculates ballistics for each magazine and the ammo type selection switch just controls which magazin is used or its overridden completely when having just one ammo type loaded). Just some assumptions how things could work the one or other way. Been looking this up and the only place so far stating an option to take either 500 rounds AP or HE or split the 500 rounds 250 AP/HE each is the german Ka-50 Wikipedia page. Business as usual on Wikipedia, the author didnt give any source (or its been an online source not available anymore now) for this claim (hence Wikipedia is considered "no valid source" for a reason), so no proof here. Guess the best bet would be some russian speaking bloke looking up russian primary literature on the topic or maybe contacting the manufacturer.

Been trying to install the F-16C trial several times now but with no luck. Started DCS as usual (no mods), went to the module manager, got a dialog presented that asked for F-16C install, module was checked, hit install, DCS closes. Got around 65GB SSD space left on the DCS install drive.

For me, the F-16C trial module does not install. Starting DCS, going to the module manager, dialog opens with F-16C selected to install, hit install, DCS closes.
