  1. Is the aircraft symmetrically loaded when this happens?
  2. Ah sorry, it's a double-click that's required. Do you see the mapping dialogue open up before you move your pedals or is just the mapping "grid" visible? Edit press the rudder pedals in both directions alternately, until it registers.
  3. According to Wags' ILS landing video it does, but no idea of how to activate it.
  4. I have the normal zoom on a button on my throttle and spyglass zoom on a modified version of the same button. Ie I press that button along with a modifier button on my joystick. It seems to work well enough
  5. If I have issues with particular words, I open notepad and use the speech recognition as a dictation tool. It's often quite funny when you first start with a word and speech recognition thinks that you have said something totally different. My pronunciation of some of the Caucusus airfields is not right at all, for the most part, but once I have added my version to the speech recognition dictionary, it doesn't matter. For example, for Vaziani, ATC pronounces it as Vazarni but I say it as I see it, ie with 2 "i"s ;)
  6. make sure that you click on the cell in the column that has your pedals and in the row that has the rudder command. a dialogue should show up and be populated by your pedals axis when you press one of them. the two toe brakes will need to be set in the same way too.
  7. the last one in your list is the flyable one.
  8. 0-1-3-12-25-39-52-65-77-89-100 appears to switch my AB on and off at the right time and appears to move linearly between idle and full military, for my throttle. the one thing that worries me is whether there is enough range to change the power level once in AB. there does appear to be a bit of a question mark, at the moment, over whether full AB power is being reached in the F16. I'm not overly sure that this will make any difference to the curve, whatever the outcome, but let's see.
  9. Excellent. Good work @Home Fries
  10. Fair enough. @=Panther=. That's useful to know. I have tended to cheat a bit, with auto-start, on cold start missions recently, so had missed that. I'll sort out the other switches in my control scheme, so that I can safely use the synch option, as some of the commands in the default profile must be set to switches on my throttle that are set "wrongly" for startup.
  11. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4053611&postcount=8 The images in that post might help
  12. Just as a bit of additional evidence, when i start the instant 'cold and dark' mission, with my throttle in the off position, ie lifted back over the idle detent, i cannot get it to move to the onscreen idle position by lifting the lever forwards over the detent until i cycle it back and then forward again. edit: i should probably turn off my PC, go to bed and get some sleep, as this one looks like it is something to do with how the switches on my throttle are set in control settings. If i amend my Misc settings to have the controls to synch with HOTAS, a few of the onscreen switches are in the wrong place at mission start, but the onscreen throttle does move to idle when i lift my WH throttle forward over the idle detent. if i clear the synch controls... checkbox in the misc settings, the onscreem switches are all apparently in position for the cold start, but the onscreen throttle will not move forward into the idle position, until i cycle the physical controller forward, back and forward, over the idle detent. it's probably just me. :)
  13. It looks like it is something to do with my thrust axis, as when i lift the thottle over the idle detent, the throttle in the cockpit does not go to the idle setting until i "wiggle the lever around". Maybe a re-calibration might be in order or i just need to press the keyboard shortcut that you use to get it into idle.
  14. it looks like it is something to do with the thrust axis on my WH. It works, but i have now set the IDLE OFF in controls to switch 29 and wiggled the throttle around a little after lifting it over the Detent. Not sure why yet, but the engine revs increased after that. Maybe my thrust axis needs tuning a little as it seems to work if i start in the air?
  15. Having just failed to get the aircraft engine to get to beyond 20%, on a 3 occasions, it would appear that the fuel gauge is reporting no fuel. This also appears to be the case on Wags' cold start video, so either i am missing something or Wags has found the solution to carbon emissions. edit: as the fuel indicator in Wags' video appears to start working, it looks like it only works when the engine is running. that means that there is probably another reason why i can't get the engine running. Although it is more than likely finger trouble on my part, i am pretty sure that i am following the instructions. I did turn of the synchronise switches to the HOTAS switches setting btw, and reloaded the mission, as some of my switches weren't in the same place as the ones in the video.
  16. Like probably a lot of you in here, i have just started flying the F16 and although i have the auto-import new modules set in the config, i cannot seem to get the PTT screen to display the module name. Is the auto-import function supposed to achieve this or does it do something else, as simple inbound commands don't seem to work, even following an airfield select command. btw, i also have import F10 menus selected and have gone through the finish steps. Edit: never mind, i am on an instant mission and i seem to remember that ATC might not be available. I'll try it on a mission later. Edit2: my problem was apparently that i hadn't taken into account the OB update and had not deleted the export.lua file. however, now that i have, the PTT screen displays that i have the F-5 Tiger II active and that just uses TX1. this might be standard for imported modules, so maybe i'll just need to await the F16 update?
  17. the log starts at the bottom, so the first thing to try is to make sure that you have a working mic plugged in. sorting that one out will possibly clear the one above.
  18. who needs a talking clock? ;p
  19. ...and it should also reduce the number of "why doesn't it do this.... " posts. if peeps read it that is
  20. don't worry, all of your posts will be deleted too. ;)
  21. Just say "options" and the menu should appear. With a PTT button pressed, of course. I use it a lot, so i know it works and I hope it achieves what you need too.
  22. Or leave the menus disabled, then press and hold the appropriate PTT and say "options".
  23. If you have the A10c, what does the BRRRRRRRRRRT!! feel like when you use the gun?
  24. ...and a properly scaled HUD in VR :)
  25. I think the idea is that you decide on how you want to map your TM WH throttle switches to the F16, check that they all work and then request a panel with the appropriate labels against the associated switches, using the form on the order page. damn good idea @Glider_UK, maybe you could change the name of the thread to replace the "F18" with "Bespoke" or something like that?
