At the top of the MFD the button to return to the normal SMS page doesnt have any text on the screen. Dont recall which MFD button it is but its on the top line.

It gets trashed pretty easily. They said its between a 77 and a 120 but its worse than a 77 tracking wise. Energy wise yeah its good. Its CCM in the lua got buffed , this includes the PL-12. It was: PL-12: 0.15 SD-10 : 0.17 now its PL-12: 0.115 SD-10 : 0.14 However its got some of the new guidance and does some nice fancy stuff , pulling 30 Gs off the rail to get on target if you fire near gimbal and such.

Well it may speed up EDs 120 rework if people moan so win win I guess. In the meanwhile we get to play around with the guessworked SD-10 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Way I've had it is that without using the datalink , even if there is no need for having it on. You will be missing a bunch of stuff when trying to lock and select targets. For example you STT someone , they dont appear on the radar screen but you can see them on your HUD and your still tracking them. Having the datalink system activated gets rid of the issue.

Dont think I saw it being mentioned. Also when you completely use out a countermeasure type , be it flares or chaffs and you try to pop one again it will stop you from using the other type untill you rearm. So you could have 0 flares and 30 chaff and you cant use Chaffs anymore due to the fact you have 0 flares left. Ive had no issues with using them otherwise , I've just done the lua for now to have a flare and chaff button all the time. -

Yeah same , its a bit annyoing but if you want to have elevation usage untill the hotfix its the only way at the moment :/ -

Ah ok I found out something. So the buttons are screwed thats for sure and its bugged with certain types of Axis . Not sure what to call this type of axis but the warthogs Increase Decrease axis kind of works fine with it , its the best your going to get but it still is jumpy here and there. I dont think its just sensitivity ,the whole thing is screwed. If you tap it i on direction it jumps all the way up and then all the down and does other crazy stuff also. Near impossible to change the elevation properly now , same thing happens with an axis. -

By it all worked out , you mean constantly getting TKed in public servers . Even with datalink and MSI there is way too much team-killing happening on servers like GS. This is aint going to be pretty for the first month without any IFF. -
The biggest issues with the Aim 54 apart from the fact that HB cant model it properly due to ED . Is actually with the netcode of the game itself and radar memory issues that are core game engine flaws /missile guidance flaws. On the Shooter side (the 14 firing 54s) If the AWG-9 looses track of a target the missile will then go on its own and go out of a loft and pretty much go straight for the target. On the receiving end (what the server sees and everyone else ) the missile stays into a loft like its had the radar tracking all the way. This then causes dysync between the person receiving the 54 and the person shooting it , also if the radar reacquires the target the missile will start lofting again and the more times this happens the more dysync accrues. Furthermore there is a memory exploit that allows you to guide a 54 till pitbull while not even scanning the target anymore , so you can go cold and have a 54 fully track. This also makes it guide through any sort of terrain 100% accurately until pitbull which is a flaw. Ironically this actually reduces the amount of dysync drastically and doing this makes your target have a better chance of notching as its generally fully synced. These are not Heatblurs fault and there is nothing they can do about it , expect the memory tracking which could be removed until ED fix it.

At this point I reckon ED just dont want it to come out at the same time as the MiG-19. That way it should get some more sales on it and not get it burried underneath the Tomcat hype.

[REPORTED] Radar ceases to work + Elevation problems Randomly the radar will start spazzing out when unlocking a target , sometimes it can be fixed by switching weapons and the radar will starting scanning again. However once that issue is resolved a new one occurs , you cannot change elevation at all. I see a thread got closed and saying its not a bug however it is. There are two bugs for this one: 1) Radar elevation changes however the numbers dont change on the TDC . 2) Radar elevation ceases to function and gets stuck after fixing the issue of spaz locking. -
There is no reason to use Aim-7s. If you can use 120s, use 120s.

The radar has improved , the biggest issue now is that fact that STT cant track a target while you do any decent amount of movement , plus it switiching from target to target still doesnt help it all. -

Its not just you, don't use the Hornet for PvP/A2A untill they work on the radar a bit more and have a functioning STT. -
You could never transfer standalone to steam I dont think. Only Pre-Mirage Steam release steam keys can be put over to standalone. It’s not a hard deal to use standalone, if you want the overlay just put it as a none steam game. In the past steam version was worse due to performance issues it had for some reason, I still recommend to anyone to switch to standalone if they haven’t got much on steam or have Pre-Mirage Steam keys.
