  1. I am just an end user of CTLD, I have no idea how to make changes to the script etc. I am just posting up to find out if there is a possible solution to this. If there is, I will direct the folks I fly with on our server to this thread in the hopes they can resolve the matter, so here is the issue. Up until the last update, I was able to spawn crates out in front of the CH-47 via the CTLD Menu, then load them up using the Loadout menu, but now they don’t even show up to do so. One of the guys that handles this for us replied back to me with the following comment: nullnull
  2. Silly as it may be to ask, but you havnt stated,, did you try a full repair?
  3. Thanks for all of the tips, especially the filing numbers, I was putting all of the numbers in the front. "Yes, the automatic map is a cheat that DCS offers for use by the less experienced users, it looks like this on my current mission:" Those maps have to come from somewhere, I wonder if there is a place to shut this "automatic map" off or find the location where they are being pulled from.
  4. @Rudel_chw There is no "kneeboard" file in the Afgan map that I have been using as a test bed. So I guess I am stuck with the (4) maps that are in the kneeboard. Also, I made the files I wanted to use in the keyboard, and in an effort to make them "sequential" in the order i wanted them to appear as i switch to next page, I put a number in front of the file name, but I cant get them to appear in the order I prefer. Any suggestions on that? Thanks, null
  5. I guess i am referring to the 2nd option, its the ones in the kneeboard i want to get rid of. I have been tinkering for hours trying to get the best quality image from some PDF files I have that I want on Kneeboard. I have been opening the PDF's, then saving as .png, then opening them up in Paint and fiddling with resolution e.g. 768 x 1024 or 900 x 1200,,, not very clear Im finding.
  6. I know this is old, but I didnt want to start a new, relevant thread. I have created a custom kneeboard (manually-not using Kneeboard Builder) there are some Map images in the kneeboard by default that I dont want in there. Where do I find that file to get rid of them? Thanks,
  7. I experience this occasionally as well, happened to me once over the past weekend as well. Im guilty, I never went through the trouble of reporting it.
  8. I have saluted twice, and the Plane Captain had passed me off to a Yellow shirt, who was directing me to to taxi, and I confirmed from external view that the chocks were removed, but when I start to taxi, the chocks get re-applied? This is in Multiplayer by the way
  9. Matter resolved by BJ55. Deadband for AXIS had to be increased from 2 to 7 as I did not realize the Axis was influenced ever so slightly (not visual by naked eye).

  11. Ahhhh.. ok,,, well,, thank you again sir! What a relief
  12. Sir,,,, thats a winner!!!!! That was the problem the entire time. Also the reason why I couldnt "UNDESIGNATE", because the axis was constantly influencing a move when the deadband was either at 0 or 2. I had to set it to 6 before it stopped influencing the TDC. I wouldnt have resolved this without your input. As you can see, I wasnt getting any tips in any threads. Something that simple was not considered, now it makes perfect sense! I appreciate you sticking it out with me to resolve, you could have easily walked away. many thanks again! Very interesting settings by the way, why so different for Vert vs Hor?
  13. I had mentioned a few times that I completely wiped out the keybindings for the Harrier and only assigned 1 axis to the TDC with same issue, I had also temped out my Saved Games folder so DCS would build a fresh/vanilla one, and it did. So no double bindings, no mods or scripts running. You do bring up something that I have NOT done, and that is deadzone. I typically have them set for about 2, but to your point, when I did fresh binding, i did NOT Axis tune. I see your point about the potential for something moving my Axis. Its possible that even with my initial settings of 2, it was not enough, could still be a small influence there for sure. I will check that later and report back,, ,but a very valuable theory, thanks.
  14. Initially, it was only 1 thread open because it was initially perceived to be an an AXIS issue, later to be proven not to be valid, so I opened up another in what was presumed to be a more appropriate thread. It just made sense to continue both so others may be helped if experiencing similar issues . And as you can tell, there were no responses. Anyway, moving along, I think you are overlooking the point I am trying to make. So please focus on this, IF I bind anything to the TDC keybindings, and hop into the Harrier and do nothing more than press the DESG button on the map, it does NOT goto STP as it should, it goes to TGT. That is NOT what is supposed to happen. When I wipe out the keybindings for the Harrier, this does not occur. Chucks guide is not going to help me as this is NOT a procedural issue, as no procedures are being performed. This has been tested with other players online while doing a screen share. Again, if you hop in your Harrier and just hit the DESG button, you are going to see STP, agreed? I will NOT if I bind TDC function to anything on my HOTAS.
  15. As a last resort, with no keybindings assigned to the Harrier, I jumped into the Harrier again, touched nothing, then hit "DESG" on the Left MFD Map page, it showed "STP". As soon as I hit the default keyboard keybinding for TDC AFT ("J"), it went from STP to TGT,,,,not good! I think I tried about everything at this point.

  17. Try this, hop into a hot start and touch nothing, then hit "DESIG" on the left mfd map screen, what do you see to the right of "DESIG"? STP or TGT? STP would be my guess
  18. I mapped the TDC to a Hat switch, and same result, so its nothing specific to an AXIS, its specific to TDC function, so now its a total loss.

  20. I did not report this as a Bug, initially, as I thought it was an issue on my end, but after extensive testing, I am now considering this a Bug. Additionally, this is my final attempt to resolve, and that is posting it in the Bug section, and expecting no support. Here is my initial post: See final entry.
  21. As an additional experiment I deleted that file (C:\Users\YourName Here\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\Input\AV8BNA) and went into Harrier controls, cleared the default "Stick" category, and only assigned the TDC Slew Horizontal AXIS to my Grip, and it did the same thing. So this is not just the Microstick Axis as an issue. So I have to think this is more a RAZBAM issue, not a Virpil, especially if I dont have issues with other MODS. Again though, no solution.

  23. I started a Thrread over in the RAZBAM section for a particular problem I was having in the Harrier. After tons of troubleshooting, I pinned the issue down to whenever I assign either of the Microsticks to the Harriers "TDC Slew" Axis, it causes an issue in the harrier? I will post the link to the problem, but I dont think its really necessary to read all though that. I confirmed the culprit, so here is what I posted over there as to my findings. This appears to be strictly a Virpil/Harrier matter, as these same microsticks are used in all of my other modules for slewing without issue. Here is my finding: "So I put more hours into this and found the problem, but now I need to find a solution. The short version of this is: I found that the Harrier Keybinding file was the cause. If I deleted it, all was well. So, I deleted that file (C:\Users\YourName Here\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\Input\AV8BNA) and did a fresh mapping of HOTAS, Problem was back. I then deleted that file again and painstakingly started re-mapping HOTAS, 1 button at a time until the problem showed up again. Short version: As soon as I map either of the Microsticks on either my Throttle or Grip to "TDC Slew" in AXIS commands, thats when it becomes the obvious problem. Now I gotta go figure out what to do about it. I use both of those microsticks for Slewing in all of my other modules with no issue. Razbam however spits it out?"
