  1. This stuff is already posted up Bud, The Harrier video is already posted up on the Harrier thread as well. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=213934
  2. My AOA hold just fine once trimmed, with just a smidge of throttle change I would be hunting between say -1500 to + 1500. I spent alot of time last night working a curve on the throttle, I certainly made some manageable improvements. Much better now, I just hate to have a curve set on my throttle.
  3. I am still struggling with this myself. Forget about trying to control my break turns etc, I am just dropping my gear and running full flaps and trimming out my ONSPEED just fine, at which point i am trying to keep a level altitude. I am fighting the vertical speed + or -. I find with just a touch of the throttle either way, the beast goes wild on me. I tried masking some curves to make it so I get some manageable travel on the throttle, but to no avail. If any of you have been successful in creating a manageable curve ( I realize the physical characteristics will likely be different), I would be very interested in what you have set. thank you.
  4. After pounding my head against the wall,,, I ran Process Lasso. I have not used that in quite sometime. Wouldnt you know it, when I run it with my custom config for improving performance for DCS,,, Sound problem goes away! Dont know why, but it does?
  5. Yeah,, I agree. The only real problem I have to contend with is when I go into the Break and I simply want to switch from AUTO to FULL flaps. there is simply to many things to do in a short time and my brain simply want to switch to full flaps in the break then move quickly onto the other things. If I have to make the flaps switch into a 2 part mental process, it really hinders everything it seems when you have to simply stop and pause for that quick moment. I will have to give this some more thought. Thanks for helping me out.
  6. Switch is physically fine, it works as long as I pause. Its all in the timing it seems? Your recommended resolve appears to be what I already have implemented? unless Im missing something? here is what I have. It may be a little different, but it appears to be the same? BTN T7 /I /O /P FLAP_Switch-FULL /R FLAP_Switch-HALF BTN T8 /I /O /P FLAP_Switch-AUTO /R FLAP_Switch-HALF
  7. NOPE,,, that did not work. Switch works fine if I phyically pause between positions, but if I switch from T8 to T7, it cycles just fine, but then it switches to the center position all by itself. I dont think I have the correct modifiers set? I think I should be using the /U, /M, /D, but I dont yet know how to work the middle position of the switch yet? T8 would be /U, T7 would be /D but how would I setup /M ? I will look through some old profiles libraries and hope I see the light.
  8. Thank you sir, that sounds like it will surely do the trick. I will give it a shot later. I used your profile as my building block and did see that you Toggled for this purpose, I just wanted a different approach,, but thanks sir!
  9. I need a little help with the flaps. I am using the DogFighting switch T7 & T8, which has the common center position. It works perfectly fine for all 3 positions, as long as you are slow about it. If I switch from Auto to Full real quick, it wont go to the end position because there is some sort of timing issue thats creating this issue? I can goto T8 to center and all is well then center to T7, all is well,,, but if I dont pause through them for a second, it does not cycle all the way though? Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks BTN T7 /I /O /P FLAP_Switch-FULL /R FLAP_Switch-HALF BTN T8 /I /O /P FLAP_Switch-AUTO /R FLAP_Switch-HALF
  10. Sound is choppy, from within cockpit and external view. A little background, I did not notice this issue until the Hornet was released. I was flying the Harrier up to about a month before Hornet release with no sound issues before I installed the Hornet on release date. I noticed as soon as I did some quick flights in the Hornet, the sound was choppy. It was only until today that i checked the Harrier and A-10 to see if they were the same, and they are. I never had this problem before. I just updated all my drivers just to be sure, and it made no difference. I do have the ability to restore my system back to older setups for testing purposes, but I don’t know what I should check next to trouble shoot this annoyance? Also,,, this is not the Afterburner sound issue, this occurs at any speed. This is in the Open Beta,,,, I did check the Release after yesterdays update,,, both are problematic. DCS Repair did not cure. Thanks for any feedback.
  11. Maybe we should all delete our postings then to keep this thread as intended,, just a library of videos to avoid drama etc? I will delete mine at this pont in hopes others will follow? Just a thought
  12. Ahhhhh,,,, I see your point
  13. We never did pushbacks for parking. You can ride the scupper and angle the aircraft just fine as long as you dont put the nose over the shot line. Only one time did we ever do a pushback to park a running aircraft, and that was because his nose was just over the foul line while we doing an emergency pull forward.

I would be happy to help you out, unfortunately I myself have the F18 sitting on the shelf as well due to other commitments. Summer time is tough to get any hobby stuff in. Typical,
  15. I started re configuring my Foxy Files last night, thats as far as I got sorry to say
  16. Glad to hear! I have not had time to even check this out yet,, but will soon! Great input guys,,,
  17. Thats a great start in deed! Thank you sir
  18. Dying breed here, but I am still using the Thrustmaster Cougar for at least another year. Anyway, has anyone created a profile for this for FOXY only? Or at least have a description of buttons and associated commands that I can copy and paste into FOXY? Thanks
  19. Thanks for sharing, cant wait to get this running myself over the weekend
  20. Take a screen shot of the flight deck on approach and point out the line you are referring to or do the same with the many photos available on the internet for reference and point out the line you are referring to.
  21. Maybe you can attach a photo, because I cant figure out if your referring to the "Ladder Lines", "Foul Lines" or "Shot Line"?
