  1. I just read thru this again, and would like to confirm something so I am clear. So Master Arm on/WAS the Hellfire,,, got it. NOW,,, if I attempt to select SKR as my ACQ, the only way it is going to stay put as SKR is only IF the Hellfire can actually see the Laser (your pointed in the right direction and the target is not obscured from the Hellfire Line of Sight), correct?
  2. No, unfortunately I did not Im sorry to say. I wound up using a switch instead to increment the flap positions
  3. I still dont know what that would do for me? Im thinking it would then add that CPG function to the Pilot and then show up in the Pilots controls for mapping, basically doing the same that I am doing in the "Custom" category for the Pilot perhaps?
  4. @TAIPAN_ "I also find it useful to change the name of the "Action" to add "PILOT " to the start of it," I have no idea what you mean by that, can you elaborate please? Thanks
  5. @LeCuvier MANY THANKS! You led me down the path I needed. I now have that command option in the Pilots "Custom" menu to bind. I had to modify the end of that string so it would be inserted in the "Custom" menu. I know that button is not in the Pilots seat, neither are the other ones in the Custom menu. That is the whole point of the Custom menu, so that you can use them when you dont have a Human front seater with you and you dont want the fuss of switching seats while in flight when George is up there. Thanks again! {down = tedac_commands.RHG_SIGHT_SLAVE_BTN, up = tedac_commands.RHG_SIGHT_SLAVE_BTN, cockpit_device_id = devices.TEDAC_INPUT, value_down = 1.0, value_up = 0.0, name = _('RHG Sight Slave Button'), category = {('Custom')}},
  6. I dont have an answer for you but i will tell you that I ran into the same issue yesterday, but figured out it was a MOD I was using to make the Apache HMD Yellow instead of the default green was causing the same result. I wound up disabling all of my MODS to find that out. Im only mentioning it because, if I read this correctly, your using Helios. If that is correct, I suspect there is a reasonable expectation that may be the issue.
  7. As I stated above, I am trying to add "RHG Sight Slave Button" to the Pilot seat via the "CUSTOM" menu in the Pilot controls. I know it exists in the Front seat.
  8. @NeedzWD40"TADS looking at FCR targets will come later with the LINK functionality. For now, you can do a scan and then sight select TADS and set ACQ to FCR, then slave which will make TADS look at the current FCR target (or last target position). You can also use the TGT function with the FCR to generate target points via COORD and slave to these." This can only be done in the Front seat right now, correct? I just want to make sure Im not missing anything as I would hate to miss out on being able to do this in the Back seat while we wait for "LINK".
  9. Im sorry if this has been covered, but I am reading through all of this trying to find out how to add a Custom command in the Apache to allow the back seater to hit the “Slave button” Im not a Coder, how can I add this function to my current Custom Options? I have Monkwolf’s Input file installed. I have this: Im looking to add this to the Custom List: Thank you for any help
  10. After the Patch yesterday (That implemented Apache FCR), if I do my usual changing of the map from KM to NM, I can no longer adjust the scaling on the TSD, it freezes when trying to make changes. This is consistently repeatable. No MODS running, and a full repair done. Typical procedure to convert KM to NM: M/FLT/SET/UNIT/TSD Track file attached Apache_Training-20231220-083616.trk
  11. Is there a way to disable Voice Chat while in a server? Im trying to resolve a matter I posted here: Thanks
  12. Theres a bit more to the issue than that but thanks. If I can just disable it, that would resolve the matter.
  13. I said "Specials" tab above in error and corrected it to "Audio", but NO that check box is Greyed out and can not be toggled while in a Server, but thanks.
  14. Apache specific question, I am having difficulty with conflicts between 2 sources of Radios, SRS and DCS Voice Chat. I am setup with SRS just fine in the Apache, and to get to the point, I want to use the exact same pushbutton on my Throttle for Push to Talk for Intercom use. Problem is, some servers I go into don’t use SRS, so they resort to DCS Voice Chat, which is fine by me. Only problem is, with both SRS and DCS Voice Chat using the same HOTAS button for PTT Intercom, and I jump in a Server that is actually using SRS, it creates a conflict when I press the button for Intercom. I thought I would just find a way to disable DCS Voice Chat while in Game through its GUI, but I didn’t find a way to shut it off either there or using the “Audio” tab in options. Any idea how to simply disable DCS Voice Chat in game? Thanks,
  15. So your flying on a server called "Contention"? I was listening to the Podcast and it was mentioned that you flew on Rotorheads, and mentioned Tuppers name as someone you fly with frequently? I went to your Discord and really didnt see any pinned info for fundamental info.
  16. @Raptor9 Thank you for explaining that, makes sense now, thanks.
  17. While on the subject though, when you see something TRACKING you (Dashed yellow line from IT to YOU) does that mean it is specifically tracking YOU or could also mean it might be tracking another Friendly in the vicinity? Ive had communication with other friendly fixed wing in the area where i would call out Im being tracked by an enemy fixed wing and they would respond that its not me he is locking onto, its them? I get confused then if its me that needs to break off my engagement and find a place to mask or its the friendly fixed wing that is being focused on by the enemy?
  18. @SkateZillaThanks for the feedback. I had been running MSAA x4 with 2.8, I spent alot of time with this new rig awhile back getting the settings dialed in to prioritize no stuttering. Frame times were a major monitoring part of that and I succeeded at MSAA x 4. I will test with MSAA at 2x and see how it goes. Thanks
  19. Well,, you seem to have succeeded, and I envy you! I would like to do the same but as you can see, where I wasn't struggling with stuttering and have had exceptional frame rates and times in 2.8 and 2.9 with DLSS on, later to realize that my MFD text was crap because of the upscaling, I now have a different dilemma. Back to crisp MFD but a bit of stuttering (Frame times a bit high)
  20. @SkateZillaJust as a quick test, I put DLSS back on and to the initial settings I posted,,, watched the frame times (NOT FPS) and they were pretty steady at 8.33. then I turned off DLSS and enabled MSAA at X4, and turned off SSAO + SSLR + DOF and frame times were worse and averaging 11~14. As I recall, staying below 9 or 10 was recommended to avoid stuttering. So, I dont get it, I was afraid of going down this rabbit hole.
  21. @SkateZilla I hear ya! Keep in mind I was doing well in 2.8 with similar settings, so when I configured 2.9 and frames were still well over 120, I thought i was fine until I discovered the MFD text that you gentleman have kindly pointed out. Now that DLSS is OFF and MSAA is back to 2.8 settings, I discovered some noticeable stuttering. And to be completely honest, Im not mentally absorbing all of the impacts of these individual settings no matter how many utube vids I watch or discussions related to them, they just kinda go over my head. And I dont really understand which settings I should cut back on to get the highest quality Video I can get with a 4090 at (3840 x 1600). Im ok with frame rate drops (not primary focus) as long as all is smooth and as clean and crisp as I can expect with this hardware. Thank you,
