  1. personally I think the answer is pretty obvious. Its like you paid for Battlefield 4 and got Battlefield 2042 on release day instead... sometimes the best answer one could give is to just keep your mouth closed if you gain nothing from it. Razbam never had a problem with inserting footwear in various speaking orifices.
  2. I think that in order for it to work is to deactivate the Corsair module if you have it. If you're trying to make a kneeboard for the corsair, you'll have to do it manually and then click-drag from one aircraft to the corsair.
  3. I love me some Goat Stimulator 3 and GoatZ myself...
  4. Dont let the fact that google can answer those questions for you. Find it ironic as well since you posted a tad bit of my supporting evidence, but ok. Gee, I wonder where they get their Super Tucano information from....
  5. ....dude, believe what you wish. ED isnt required to discuss legal matters with us, nor should they. Its public knowledge Razbam was making the Tucano for the Equadorian AF, and its public knowledge that any entity that represents a government interested in training their pilots should look towards TBS and not DCS. Because its TBS, ED wants to keep this topic to DCS for everyone to not even reference this because its OT. Its kind of obvious at this point you dont care about the truth, so I will just remind everyone that there is - in fact - a such thing as a dumb question. Let it go, please?
  6. The fact ED left this tidbit out is because its supposed to be for The Battle Simulator, not DCS World: two separate products with more strict contracts and higher standards -and therefore higher costs. Has nothing to do with us, therefore not for you to know or understand. They've made that abundantly clear, so what else would like debunked to destroy whatever narrative you're trying to feed?
  7. Nobody ever said ED is free of sin here, you know. With that said, ED never took their frustration out on their customers because thats just bad for business. It takes a special kind of person to use the customer as a hostage.
  8. I guess the only way you will accept this truth is if it happens a 3rd time, right? Or will you just continue denying said reality?
  9. Thats good not holding a grudge. But that little outburst wasnt the first time from Ron as more than a few of us back in the other sim days had almost identical situations.
  10. No, it does work that way. You want to prove to me and everyone else here that Razbam DIDNT do what people claim he has done? You can google those simple facts and see for yourself. Ask Chuck Owl (of the Chuck's Guides fame) about how he feels about Razbam too; plenty of online forums where discussions like this were normalized like..SimHQ and other places. I could point out plenty of evidence too, but hey...we're not here to debate proving me right because its only made up, huh, according to your sources. Well, prove me wrong that he didnt abandon his FSX/P3D customers. Prove to me he didnt blame Microsoft when his planes didnt work; prove to me that he didnt do exactly all that here with his currently unsupported modules in DCS either. Otherwise put up or shut up. Plenty of places for you to search, you can start with google.
  11. ok. prove me wrong; Ill wait.
  12. he abandoned all his projects in MS FSX and P3D, left his customers hanging. He blamed microsoft for his products failings, so the fact that he's doing this again doesnt really...tell YOU anything? say whatever you want, but its not like those of us who've been around havent been paying attention to who's who in this business and can attest to this simple fact for you. theres a difference between being optimistic and being realistic, and realistically Zambrano ditched another group...and for what? dont let the simple thought of Razbam making a comeback to finish the job stop you from thinking he wont do this again.
  13. I never asked to solve a problem, Im merely interested in the data. Shouldnt really matter; opinions are formed, its been over a year+ now, and its not looking...too great so to speak. After a certain amount of time, someone should just ask "why bother" when the damage is already done? After almost 20 years of watching his actions in forums, discord and discussions everywhere else under the sun, you can pretty much characterize who people really are just by what they say and do online. Zambrano has never made himself out to be a particularly pleasant person as plenty of people here can attest to.
  14. You know, I just wonder...if someone were to post a poll whether or not Razbam should just try to come on back and try to mend fences or cut their losses completely. Id be incredibly interested in seeing the data from that.
  15. Honesly Id go over and try Hobby Boss over Trumpeter. Ive never worked an accurate kit from Trumpeter that didnt have poor fit results, inaccurate panel lines and shapes, and be worth the price. But even so, anything is better than the Revell Monogram Thud...
  16. finished means feature complete. serviced is what you are alluding to to keep it functional past its life expectancy. you know, much like maintaining your vehicle at the dealers.
  17. if you say so... its not as if it has its problems that can be fixed yet, right? nobody is reporting anything broken? degraded? ok. I wouldnt hold my breath if I were you, but ok.
  18. No, its realistic until things change. Things arent changing, are they?
  19. thats hope. It will eventually break more and become another hawk. that will be sooner rather than later, and thats realistic. again, by all means enjoy it. its already falling apart, you can deny it all you want, but your feelings wont change reality because in the end what you have now is all that you're going to get.
  20. I wouldnt trust Trumpeter to put out an accurate kit of a kitchen sink much less an F-105. Some of the worst designed kits out there were Trumpies.
  21. ok, still doesnt change the facts.
  22. When it comes to outcomes where everyone hopes for the best and prepares for the worst, realism is the best word to use. Realistically, Razbams F-15E is dead. Its not going anywhere for a very long time, if ever again. The best way to describe any part of this now is calling the F-15E "Lazarus" if work starts on it again...and only if Razbam opted to farm out the work to another 3rd party because I just dont see them being relevant here again.
  23. You know, the UH-1H has been officially dead since around 2016/2017 with sporadic updates here and there. Its been done for years, and now even the community is coming together to build the external model (and internal as well IIRC) to bring it back up to standards. Hardly any of these modules are in beta anymore except those released in the past 5-6 years, and even those are mostly fleshed out. Every single last one of them still has a functional team thats willing to put out an update here and there; even OctopusG still puts out updates for the donkey from time to time, and he's just a one man crew. Mag3 still trying their best at maintaining their Mig21 while attempting to put out a new module or two over the last 10 some odd years because even though they havent been touched in a while, doesnt mean that work isnt ongoing in some way, shape or form. For all you want to believe and hope, it doesnt change the fact that Razbam has practically abandoned every single one of their modules so the Ecuadorian air force could possibly get some better deals on some Tucano modules rather than follow the contract stipulations. And in any possible chance that Razbam finally puts their head on straight and starts working again, I sincerely doubt many people will be too happy theyre back, and thrilled to buy another module from them again after this...those modules are as good as dead; no ED working on them to update or fix bugs, no new features; they will be the only modules in DCS whose life cycle cant be extended. Seriously, how many Razbam modules are feature complete? Now Im not going to ding people for wanting to keep their F-15E, by all means enjoy them...for as long as you can...while you still can. Optimism may be better than pessimism, but realism...kind of makes pessimism and optimism useless. They either pick up where they left off (which at this time puts them 1 year behind current ED tech, so they're 2+ years behind schedule now) or they cut and leave (most likely). Their modules are considered brain dead, so unless a miracle happens....
  24. They may be unfinished, but everyone is still actively working on them. Except for Razbam, so again let me know when its finished. Maybe Ill buy it again. You know, alongside my other 60 or so aircraft that people are working on? The ones that still show signs of life? Or at least until "officially" taken off life support.
