I dont recall, I rarely ever shop Steam for DCS. Ironically, I have two Razbam modules on steam and DCS...none of which is the F-15E. I just recall there was an option there, but its up to the discretion of both Steam and ED.

I really dont know what you're on about other than one side is talking while the other side is keeping quiet...its the age old gate keeper question: one of us tells the truth all the time, the other lies about everything. In order to find the correct door, you need to ask the right questions, and only one of them are going to tell you the truth because one of them has an official statement and sticking to it and not telling the full truth, while the other side hasnt really shown very much integrity in regards to both their customers and their employer. Just know that deep down that you should expect Razbam not to make a come-back to DCS; if they do, they do. If not, you wont be let down.

Its easy to figure out; those modules in development prior to 2017 are in jeopardy; UH1H, F5E, Mi-8, F-86, Mig15, Mig-21...probably only 2 or 3 of them are at risk, and even then not likely since the vast majority of them are Belsimtek and ED. OctopusG and Mag3...but thats only 2 aircraft that are under an early contract.

dude...just open a support ticket and ask for one. Youll get store credit instead of a refund, but its 100% better than nothing.

It technically isnt incorrect, its just very misleading. It absolutely should be made explicitly clear though as there is no such thing as too honest.

this was the one thing irritating me like a pair of wet tighty whities on a hot summer day: "To avoid such issues in the future, all 3rd party agreements are now required to make the game files available to support their product..." What they didnt say was "for 3rd party creators who have signed contracts from here on out. Those currently in work cannot be enforced because of existing contracts; our attorneys dont want to open that can of worms for some reason or another because amending contracts is too hard big frowny face." FML for me not being able to read between the lines 7 years ago.

did you try removing one of those drives? I mean I get it...I spent the better part of 6 months trying to fix DCS with similar issues and being frustrated not being able to play. I rarely fly nowadays because of this stuff, even more so because of VR. It turned out that park control was the only thing I needed, started fresh with DCS and no mods on a fresh M2 drive WITHOUT VR...no process lasso either. Only need one program running in the background and thats windows. Could very well be Nvidia's app or GeForce experience too. I havent tried DCS since the F4U came out, and even then only for like an hour. Havent even tried this patch yet, so honestly dont know what to expect, but Ill have to see for myself today too. Ill report back as well, but

thats an odd series of beeping and it definitely sounds hardware related. Start looking for issues in your device manager, try installing it on a separate disk drive not on your windows partition, and if anything try to install it on a new hard drive separated from the other hard drives. Id just remove the others - save for the windows disk drive and just go from there.

You telling me that since the F-15E went to sale that Razbam didnt get paid one penny? I find THAT statement funny. Then again, if I caught you taking my customers and doing jobs for them with my tools and not my consent, I wouldnt pay you either.

You know what makes me the angriest about this whole thing? Having to defend ED. Those who know, know. ED is like Lockheed Martin: they dont care about your opinion so long as the job gets done and it sells. I REALLY hate it when ED is in the right, so quit making me defend ED. But Id get mad if someone was using me to make money -on my dime, with my company vehicles and tools, with my customer contracts - as a side gig without my knowledge, blessing, or my benefit.

Have you tried turning off virtualization technology in UEFI? Also if you want to narrow it down a lot more, rename your saved games folder and generate a new one. Dont delete the old one, just rename it. Delete the new one if this doesnt solve anything. After that, youll have to one by one replace folders from one to the other until problems start appearing again.

Yeah I find it weird that me owning a licensed copy of a substantial chunk of Razbams abandonware (at this point) doesnt give me a right to be mad about it.

Why should anyone even bother with you? For someone just interested in the truth, you sure dont like looking for it yourself let alone bothering to search for claims backing your opinions up. Having bought stuff from Razbams stuff from other platforms, I can tell you firsthand some of the trash he's done but that aint proof for you. Neither is everything else in this long conversation where you can put 2+2 together and see for yourself, but you arent going to waste your time because you just know. My advice is to just....stop. You arent going to believe anything you see anyways. If you had, you would have come to the same conclusion the rest of us level headed customers have.

So far the 3rd party creators have a really high retention rate around here. Some people cant handle the workload, others see $$$ in the eyes while they hold a shovel in one hand and a knife in the other. The only way to not get screwed is to wait until products come out of early access and that could take the better part of a decade to do so. Some of these aircraft are far more in depth that it closely resembles GTA6 in some regards.
