  1. I go to the Graphics Preset Editor; I click on Preset #1, input my options for rendering, shaders, VR, terrain, etc...then I click on the disk icon. When I click the save button, everything reverts back to its values before I changed anything..now I see these are from the import from profile, so none of these are legitimate presets to save over? It does the same thing when I click on the save icon too when editing the global presets...just reloads its default values. Also, Im trying to add custom apps to launch in external applications and no .exe files are being shown when browsing for one. For example: Im trying to add Sim Shaker in Custom App #1. Click on Browse, head to the default location C:\Program Files (x86)\SimShaker\SimShaker for Aviators Beta\, and the only thing I see in the folder is two more folders.
  2. you mean to tell me I havent paid attention to the launch of the new version? I must be getting old...and I have a little question. How do I save new presets? When I click the save button, all it does is revert everything back to default.
  3. awesome, thank!

    F-15 roadmap?

Been looking for one here, but I dont see anything official. Mostly curious though if this aircraft will get a helmet mounted designator like the Viper or Hornet.
  5. Ok so where would one find a bunch of custom shaker profiles at? Think the default ones are a bit too...vibby
  6. Ive been wondering why it hasnt been working all day...
  7. Ill put pictures up later of the foxxmount that will go with it. Just found me a T-50CM that Ive been trying to get for a long time now and no longer have a need for it. I have the mount wrapped in bubble wrap, I havent even opened it up from the seller because I dont need it. Great condition! Ive had it since it was released, just a tad dusty. No damage, all the buttons 100% working, nothing wrong with the axes. Have it set up for over 120+ buttons. IMO still better than the T-50CM2/3 throttles now in Virpil's lineup, far more toggle switches to play with and just the right amount of buttons on the throttles. The newer ones feel crowded. The first two iterations were better. Willing to let it go for $400 + S&H, US only.
  8. How do you know they havent changed? Post a screenshot.
  9. Again, shouldnt have ever been placed into service. Much like everyone with a boat, it almost always puts the owner under the sea with debt at a minimum. It never was finished.
  10. its not that it combusted at sea, its more or less its last deployment was marred with crippling issues where the tug did most of the work during the deployment. call it what you want, but thats the Kuz legacy whether you like it or not. It should have never been sent into service in the condition it was in. If you want to rag on US ships being on fire during port refits, lets just say that arson shouldnt really count on the "spontaneous combustion" clause.
  11. no, thats not fair. I fly the russian helicopters more than anything.
  12. the boat catches fire every time it leaves port anyways, you're better off just taking off from a tugboat.
  13. Ok, something new. Two settings I changed: mistakenly I did have motion blur turned up; apparently DCS MT loads up a different set of config files, and I had motion blur turned up all the way. I dont have it on in the ST version. The other setting was I also had MSAA @ 4x and I dialed it down to 2x. One of those two settings in MT is borked, and since someone mentioned it earlier its most likely motion blur.
  14. I literally do not have this issue in single thread or any other vr related app, and this is new as of this latest patch. video card isnt overclocked, and the cpu is pretty much at stock speeds too. Ill give that a shot in the morning, but I havent had much issues with vr up until now. nothing on my system has changed in the last 2-3 months except my motherboard. 100% confident my hardware is not the problem. edit: have it running with the force xr argument, no change. Ill post a video of it soon...heres what I am seeing: Upper left corner, I see the cockpit. It moves along just fine, but the instrument panel graphics are just glitching all over the place. The cockpit is out of position, the instrument panel layouts are at the bottom of the screen, and its 100% bugged DCS. Ill get that video up. edit: give it a few minutes to process, heres the link.
  15. "B:\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\DCS.exe" not launching it from anything other than a desktop shortcut I pulled from that address. No arguments, no commands after the target, just set in VR enabled in settings only. I believe I do...Ill double check, but take it as yes for the moment. edit: nope, do not.
  16. Nope. Only happens in MT. I just flew a 30 minute session without any issues in ST.
  17. Check out the screenshots. So far only in the Apache, and in MT. Didnt experience this much, but that could change. Not sure whats coming from, but DXDiag is posted below. Using HP Reverb G2, WMR and not through steam. edit: seens its not just Apache related too, its spazzed out in the harrier too. DxDiag.txt Screen_230609_223650.bmp Screen_230609_223616.bmp
  18. Ive tried to get a screenshot of it, but doesnt really show it well. Every time I load into the AH64 in MT, I get a bar on the inboard side of my left eye as if its the edge of the camera. Right eye seems fine. Ive been experiencing this since MT came out, and I only get it in the MT verson. ST is fine. Possibly other modules as well, but so far Ive only flown the AH64. Heres a screen
  19. people also need to take into account air density with regards to the weather. Rainy summer days will be vastly different from dry winter days, also depends on humidity as well...but not sure if humidity is even modeled yet.
  20. I cant even get to the main page of the website, too much traffic at the moment.
  21. Im hoping someone can answer this...is the audio jack really necessary to plug in? Wouldnt the USB port be enough to make this work? Curious because I have to contend with sound coming through the right speakers now.
  22. I never mentioned hiring someone to teach you how to fly; plenty of people online willing to spare their time to work with you so long as you join a squadron. They do that so they can have participation in events, whether its squad on squad competition, 1v1 competition...some do aerobatics, so its formation or stunt flying. The more people you have that can fly, the more people who can participate, the bigger the missions can be..and the bigger the mission, the more realistic it can be. So yes, it requires some dedication, but thats the price you pay for quality training and entertainment. And who knows? Maybe they train you good enough to where you can do your own youtube channel. Those out there asking you to pay for training arent worth paying for. I can name quite a few ppl like that, but Ill keep my mouth shut for now.
