The new version of Evo is out and I have to say.. Boring. I'll edit it this week and make it a little more interesting.

The 169th has a dedicated server too. We run Evo maps only at the moment. Ive had a go at editing it so there are more flyables of course ;-) As well as a squad of playable OPFOR to keep the yankees honest. Lots of fun.

What is less realistic ? Translating the buttons/indicators to a language you understand. Piloting an aircraft and having no idea what each button/indicator says? :huh: This will be a must have for all my members.

Like I say. the ECM macros saga, at least on the 169th Dedicated is not an issue. Im not going to police it. At the same time those that use it must fly elsewhere cus its never been an issue. This makes sense too. People who would use a macro are experienced enough to know how to create one. and obvioulsy know not to fly on the 169th Dedicated because they just arent good enough to win a fight there regardless.

I very rarely, if at all see ECM macros being used on my server. However IF people want to use it they can. No one CAN stop you so therefor it is allowed. The argument about PRINTSCREEN does not hold. PRINTSCREEN produces WARPING and can be reproduced in a recorded track. Anyone with too much "WARP" gets banned.

The reason is explained in the brief... Technological Advances: Radio-Active Chaff. Dump enough and spoof any radar missile. Anti-Radar Paint. Both sides now have special paint that confuses any radar signal when flying within 10 metres above water. Hi Speed ECM Transmitters. These transmitters have the ability of Strobing the signal which is still very difficult to counter. IR tracking Sam Sites: Mobile medium range sams are able to track targets via IR optics. Only after the missile is launched do they show on RWR's.

As we all know A-10's which dont have Anti-Radar Missiles start at Sochi-Adler and can attack ground units in relatively short time. So, to make things fair, Ive added 4 Su25's to Red side starting from Maykop. Just a note the server will be down until tomorrow. Were upgrading hdd's

It shouldnt be difficult. Try using the template i made for Walmis' Skin.

I'm running an Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 2.67 o/clocked to 3.00GHz 2 gig ddr800 KINGSTON RAM nVidia GTX8800 768mb Samsung 305T 30" wide screen Monitor. Its interesting to note the pixels on this monitor are about 30% smaller than a normal monitor. Very fine detail indeed.

We will run intermittently Externals ON or Off. At least for this week. So if you are one who has wished for externals are OFF in our FAT PIPE server. Be sure to use it when they are. then I will be inclined to keep it that way :smilewink:

yep and scenes on low. At this res they are a killer.

dont need aa at this res. From where i sit it looks just as good without it.
