Are you on Open Beta er stable? Because I had only one problem with this campaign, as I mentioned earlier, otherwise it worked like a charm in 2.5.5 stable

have you tried to push numpad 0 to put yourself a bit more behind in the cockpit?

I played the UN campaign last time on 2.5.5. I remember I needed to open up one mission in order to remove some trees, because you are supposed to land up in the mountains somewhere, and when that mission was made, there were no trees at that spot, which the 2.5 update introduced. Just a heads up

If you go to your controls/key bindings, click on the keyboard column on any command, then press RIGHT ALT + HOME. Does the "start right engine" command get highlighted? If the command does not get highlighted, make a new binding for this command (as well as the left enginge), because then DCS obviously have problems fetching the keyboard command.

Do you see that your left throttle moves to the idle detent position when you’re hitting Right Alt+Home?

How come I never had any issues with this then? I’m having the same setup as you. (2.5.6 OB)

I'm still in the learning process of this aircraft, and there's one thing that's bugging me. Let's say I have a couple of GBU-12's on station 4 and 8. If I go to the DSMS page, and don't select any weapon, then click on "PROF", then move the cursor to the GBU-12, and then change it from CCIP to CCRP and set Auto Laser to ON for example. If I now go back to the main screen of the DSMS, select ALL of the GBU-12's on the page, and then click on "PROF", I'll go directly to the profile page for the bombs without having to select it once more. That makes all sense to me. But then, every setting I did in the first place are completely gone, and I must do it once more. So when I select a weapon in HUD mode with DMS left/right, how am I suppose to know which PROF settings are used for the GBU-12? The one I did first (without pre selecting the bombs), or the setting I did the second time (where the GBU-12's was pre selected)? I'm on 2.5.6 Open Beta, so I suspect this to be some kind of bug, or?

Very nice campaign! I'm at mission 14, without a wingman. I get shot down every time. I've taken out the SAM as well as the AA-tank at the front of the gates with Mavericks. What's the best approach for dealing with the man pad/infantry at the right of the gate?

Yep! I did one re-arming now, but without shutting down the aircraft, and then it worked just fine, so it has to be something when you repair it as well.

Ok, I must read up on TACAN approach. It would be cool with a MP server reading latest METARs for the area they are in and fed them into the game. Dynamic, off course :)

Title says it all. Are there any old school ways to do this, or do you divert to an ILS supported airfield?

Like I said, I did upload the weapons into the DSMS (just like you stated), and I can see the new loadout in my DSMS. But again : On the MAV page, it still says "NO MAVERICK", so there's no option to turn the sensors on or use them. But they are hanging under my wing AND they are listed in the DSMS page. And like I said, the reason why I did a shutdown was because I needed a repair after swallowing too many bullets.

You can only switch between DAY/NIGHT (green/orange). It's a switch below your left MFD somewhere. The brightness can be adjusted with the INTEN rocker on your UFC.

I did that, because I needed to repair the aircraft as well, so I did a full shutdown to request repair, re-arm and refuel. Then started it up like a normal cold start. But no Mavericks on the MAV page..

The Huey doesn't need that many HOTAS-buttons. But for my fixed wings I use the X56 stick

TAD, TGP, MAV, as well as the HUD are the only SOIable sensors I can think of
