  1. I have a mission with random spawned enemy ground targets with a friendly AFAC (reaper drone) giving me locations. In that mix of random targets, there may be anti air (SA-6/13 etc) and a bunch of other stuff such as tanks. The AFAC sees them all, but it seems like anti air is the last thing he prioritises. Are there any ways to change this?
  2. Thanks for your reply! Yes, that mission is a part of the Gamblers campaign by Baltic Dragon, and that's the only place I can reproduce this awkward behaviour atm. That's why you can't view it, I guess (didn't know track files from DLC campaigns required activation ). And yes, I agree, it's acts as if I'm too excited with the RDR cursor. I'll try what you just told me and check the keybinds.
  3. Is it a bug or a feature? It's kinda frustrating. I look for targets with the TGP while the maverick is in PRE mode. If the maverick can't see the target it often (or always?) switch over to VIS mode, and then I lose track of where I am with the TGP. Is it possible to tell the maverick to NOT switch over in VIS mode, even though it can't see the target? My workaround atm is to switch over to another weapon, like a GBU12 or something, search for target, and dont switch back to the maverick before I know the maverick seeker can see it. This cannot be the right way, obviously I've added a track file if it is any help. f16_agm65_going to VIS while in PRE.trk EDIT : I did some testing in a self made mission where I started airborne, and then it worked normally, ie : no annoying automatically switching to VIS while using the TGP and agm65 PRE mode. So my hunch right now is that I'm doing something wrong under startup (since this mission is a cold start). I know I didn't boresight my mavs, but that can't be the case?
  4. I confirm, the dialog stops for me as well. Have tried it 3 times now, same thing happens. My wing(wo)man and I have killed the convoy of 5 vehicles, and is asked to report back and head to IP, and it stops every time after I've pushed 6 on Uniform and Ghost asks me to "send it". EDIT : I have every time killed the convoy with the maverick and gun. EDIT 2: Aaaand I'll go a fourth time, seeing that I must be exactly at WP3/IP/BULLS... thanks@YoYo! EDIT 3 : didn't work now either.. sigh..
  5. This is totally off topic, but I’m pretty sure the radar altimeter works even if RF is set to silent. Dunno if it’s a bug or feature
  6. I mean, is it modelled? Do you increase your chances to survive when sneaking through a high dense area of sam sites with your radar completely off? And how big is the difference in terms of cross section from SILENT to QUIET?
  7. The throttle already has animation, and the stick in the real plane does hardly move at all. It is based on how much pressure you put on it rather than movement.
  8. The graphics inside the cockpit didn't blow me away, but all in all it looks like an exciting frame to fly.
  9. When I landed after mission 1, the player says that he's taxing to S-39 and S-40 (for the wingman). I taxied to spot 39 (there's no S on the map), and shut down the jet. Still no message that the mission is completed. My wing(wo)man was taxiing all over to the other side of the airport along with some F-15s, so I thought maybe that was the de-arming area. So I started up my jet again to taxi to the other side and parked along my wingman, shut down. Still no message/cue that the mission was over. So I just quit, and found out that my mission was a success. So I guess the mission is completed once you land back at Andersen, or?
  10. I believe it's more or likely the same fuel flow, but I'm not sure. But usually it's faster to refuel in the air, obviously depending on where the tanker is in relation to the closest airport.
  11. Same here today I've had this module for several years without any issues.
  12. I've now played through First In and Last Out, and these two campaigns are a must if you're a viper driver. If you are considering this campaign but haven't played First In yet, you should really go for that one before playing this campaign. I had my problems in some missions, but only due to pilot skills. All of these missions are very solid made and I didn't experience any bugs, apart from some very few times where audio chats overlapped and was played simultaneously, but that's almost impossible to iron out in the way the mission editor works. The story is well written, and I got immersed into it from the get go (in First In). Really good mission briefings with good documentation and very good kneeboard docs as well. How the ATC works is brilliant, and I this is exactly how the built in ATC should have been in DCS. Every mission was a blast to play. Score : 10/10
  13. Thanks, @ChillNG! Finally made it!
  14. Allright, I'll give it another go. Thanks!
  15. This mission is way too hard, IMO. It's way, way harder than any of the Weasels missions so far. I've failed it 6 times now. Giving it up. Maybe ease a bit up on the SAM threats? And also include a pitstop at Arco to refuel before entering Silver corridor in the mission? The missile dodging consumes A LOT of fuel
  16. I managed to screen shot it right before it faded away: "Next time make sure you request clearance to takeoff"! But I'm just taxing behind Sword 1 on the parallel taxiway, with no intention to take off before them Mission 7 (or 8?) "Chaos" was the name of the mission. BTW : I really love the effort and detail you've put into the ATC in these campaigns. I love it!
  17. Ok, I wasn't aware that the bullseye point was loaded automatically into the F-16. I suspect you need to manually set this IRL? I mean, how can the plane just magically know what the bullseye point is?
  18. Steerpoint 25 is by DEFAULT what the F-16 treats as Bullseye if it is SELECTED (which it isn't by default). And if steerpoint 25 doesn't have any value, it doesn't help. On First In : Weasels over Syria, the kneeboard would look like this: Or like this: But in Last out : Weasels.. it looks like this (at least the first 3 missions):
  19. On the kneeboard doc, it says that bulls is "portal", but portal is not a waypoint, and I can't see any lat/long I can enter in manually. I'm probably missing something very obvious.
  20. Yes, I know, CZ will fix it, but I still can't understand why it has to affect every steerpoint loaded into my system when I slew my cursor off from the PRE point. Can someone explain the reason behind this?
  21. I've played through the first 8 missions whole campaign now, and man, I am overwhelmed by the immersion. It's so cool to NOT be the lead, (although you are sometimes), and all the small details that really breathes life and realism into this campaign. I've never been a fighter pilot, but I totally believe that this is how things are going on IRL. Thank you so much, Reflected! Score : 10/10
  22. Thank you for your reply. A rebinding now worked!
