  1. Nope, it will be the number for that Truck Driving School.
  2. In real life, anything that can create a return can disrupt what the pilot sees on his display; be it A/G or A/A. That is not modeled, currently, in DCS - AFAIK.
  3. One thing to keep in mind is that the image from 2015 represented a radar "image" from the work done on Pusle-Doppler. We are getting SAR imaging in the Hornet. The image also did not represent the EXP mode for Pulse-Doppler.
  4. What they are saying is the existing CVN74 will get some "bug" fixes and will exist in-game for all. It will be separate from the Supercarriers - payed DLC.
  5. If you upload a .trk file and the .miz file we can be of more assistance. Just from reading your post, it might be an error in the mission.
  6. By default the MPRS will only deploy baskets; there is supposed to be a LUA edit that will enable the boom, though I have not tried it.
  7. Revelation

    GBU-39

The last I read, they are still planning to do the Sniper Pod, they need more time and info on it.
  8. Just make sure you are using Open Beta and you will get the updates when they come out.
  9. I believe we are still waiting for that to be implemented.
  10. Works for me. Might want to doublecheck the key assignment and ensure you have the MFD for the TGP set as your SOI. Only things I can think of off the top of my head.
  11. Not true. Unless there was a recent change they stated that non-owners could land on the carrier. They would not get CaseI/II/III comms nor could they spawn.
  12. If you saw Noneline’s post he said to hold off on the purchase they are looking into it.
  13. So far ED has only indicated end of Q1 if I remember correctly.
  14. I don’t know Mav. I think the carrier module should allow control of only the assets in the package without the need for CA. CA integration should be there to allow limited control for CA owners that don’t own the carrier module. I also think I remember reading that SC owners would be able to take control and no mention of needing CA. I could be wrong but I think that is the case.
  15. If you own the Hornet through ED shop the extra discount will be applied at checkout. You can also use “Miles” points to drop the price further. If you own the Hornet through Steam then you want to hold off a little bit based on Nineline’s post. There are more than four spots on the Supercarrier, there may be even more coming as ED does some more tests. I think I remember reading there were 12 and we may get up to 18.
  16. It really depends. The Hawg is complete and you can learn all aspects of that bird now. She is a fun aircraft to fly and challenging in her own right. She is sloooooooow; that is one thing to keep in mind. The Hawg has really good HOTAS integration, The Viper is a close second and leave a lot to be desired in the Hornet in that department. There are a ton of missions specifically for the Hawg; including ED's Red Flag campaign. Others have created some really good content for it as well. That will be a benefit for offline flying while you learn the bird. There are a lot of Hawg "veterans" out there that can teach you the bird faster than by yourself. The Hawg is getting a cockpit refresh soon and I plan to put some time in her again once that is done. Personally I am a big fan of the Viper even though all of the systems are not in place/polished. The nice thing is you can learn each new system as they get released and you will have more mission profiles available with a multi-role fighter.
  17. I am not sure but I had to bind the master modes (T1-F/C/B) to be able to get out of Dogfight mode (S1_Forward).
  18. On the MFCD.
  19. While this is probably a WIP as a few functions aren't working. When going into the APR Menu you cannot get out of it by hitting the APR button a second time like you can with other menus/sub-menus.
  20. Make sure you are running the Open Beta and not Stable branch.
  21. Try logging out of DCS and back into it. Sometimes takes the servers a "minute" to realize you own the module. Some of us saw the same thing with previous modules.
  22. Here's my "two cents." I give every developer one module to show me what they got. After that I can accurately asses the developer myself and determine what I think their work is worth. I'm excited for the JF-17 and it looks promising. I don't, truly, know if the Thunder will be worth whatever price they set until I get my hands on her and experience it for myself; including support, bug fixes, updates, etc... I will buy the JF-17 as soon as it is available and we will have to wait and see if they can live up to the hype.
  23. Would you rather have a temp IFF in the next couple of weeks or wait several months for a proper IFF implementation? That was rhetorical....
  24. CBU-97 and 105 are the same thing. The 105 simply has GPS for wind correction and can only be dropped via CCRP.
  25. Right, but I believe the actual verbiage on the knob is UFC.
