  1. It is, there were some issues early on. If you get the campaign as part of the pre-order NTTR bonus, simply open DCS Open Alpha. Go to Module Manager; if you don't get the option right away to download then hit the refresh button found on the bottom right corner a few times and a box will popup prompting you to download.
  2. You should probably wait until Christmas 2019 before you buy any module released this year; I'm sure they will be on sale for more at that point in time.
  3. Docs folder is missing, they know about it. Just give them some time to get it sorted.
  4. CV1 is up for pre-order. Who all ordered with me? Shipping dates have already slipped to May 2016, last I checked.

You can still practice making contact and holding steady. It's a challenge since the aircraft wants to auto-adjust the trim to where you point the nose. At least in my limited experience. This means you have to be on top of your game when you make minor adjustments.
  6. Wags conducted a cold start in one of the introductory M2000C videos.
  7. At the moment yes. They are waiting on ED to develop A/G radar before finishing the A-7 and the F-15E.
  8. Only 1.5 gets the update today and the M2000C module. 2.0 will get love tomorrow as announced by Razbam on Facebook.
  9. Lat\Long can be entered via the "CDU." It's called something slightly different like CDA or something like that. There's been no mention of UTM acceptance via the computer or not.
  10. Both the A- 10C and the Mirage use an INS. They are easy to use at the moment becuase you don't need to complete any INS updates as you fly. They have different levels of functionality from what I have read so far. That really revolves around the CDU, they way you access the INS. You are doing yourself a disservice by not learning it. I believe once you do it 1-2 you will understand it.
  11. They have made it abundantly clear on multiple occasions. No.
  12. They did say that you can do level CCRP. For that to work you have to input coords and MSL altitude of target. If you do not include the targets altitude above sea level then you will have to use the Dive method.
  13. I thought Razbam already had he Harrier in its roadmap...
  14. I would love for it to drop this weekend, though I think Monday is more likely.
  15. Well I think the day DCS has an F-16C/D and a Dynamic Campaign. The Dynamic Campaign is the only reason Falcon 4 has lived as long as it has.
  16. You will want to install the base 2.0. After that you should be able to move the and replace all of your OpenAlpha folders. Run a repair afterwards just to be sure nothing became corrupted.
  17. Technically it was never up for sale, there was a crowd funding campaign that was scuttled by members in this very community. The same ones that also complain about lack of content, no new maps and not enough news updates....
  18. Yes it will be capable, yes there are already tankers that support it. They did make mention of possibly doing one of their own as well.
  19. Maybe the OP needs to do a repair install. I haven't been that far North, so I don't know for sure how it should look. ***EDIT*** Just placed an AC out there and I can confirm that is how the terrain looks out there.
  20. I don't know the extent, I just remember that Wags once mentioned that once you get away from LV the quality starts dropping. (those are not his exact words) So the highest mesh is around Vegas and places like Creech, etc... Areas immediately around those places are equally to slightly less detailed and it goes out to the edges which are referred to as fly over country. Those areas have elevation data, and a simple mesh. Again, that is not verbatim from ED/Wags or anyone else. That is my summation of what I remember the update covering.
  21. Your screen shot is taken around Round Mountain. That is not a high-detailed area. If ED did the entire map to the same level of LV, your computer would melt. This is not a bug. Coordinates according to your screenshot: 38 39'33"N 118 10'58"W
  22. Man that sucks, I didn't realize 1.5 broke as soon as 2.0a alpha became available.... Whatever will you do?
  23. I think everyone can agree with that. Really hoping that ED can model Tonopah (sp?) as they once said they would like to.
  24. That's how I understand/see it.
