  1. Others have indicated the time to drop, based on your posts, I assume you are new. I want to make sure you also are aware that you will want to use the Start Menu >> Eagle Dynamics >> Update Open Beta. If you have started DCS in the last 24 hours it will not check again, automatically, for an update during that 24 hour period. This will hopefully save you some time and confusion in a few hours.
  2. You can try to reach out to Steam to see if they will honor the new price. You can also "return it" and re-purchase it.
  3. Modules, with very few exceptions, are released into OB before being released into Stable Branch. You may have to wait 1 week to over a month for the Viper to reach Stable depending on what bugs or other issues are found during EA in OB.
  4. Probably not. Unless there is a large DCS World update to go along with the release of the Viper it should be pretty painless. The previous times there were issues were when they released NTTR and SoH.
  5. Wags hinted at that in a post on the forums or FB, can't remember which; we just have to wait to see what they implement.
  6. Well sometime on the 3rd. It may even go away right before the download is ready on the 3rd. I wouldn’t assume it is going to be available the whole day.
  7. Happy Viper Friday!
  8. If you buy through the ED store you will want to install the stand alone DCS World. The price is higher in the Steam store as the Pre-order window has expired there as the anticipated release date was since expired.
  9. The good thing that if ED does not, someone in the community will.
  10. The full ramp start video is posted on YouTube now.
  11. He also accidentally Livestreamed part of the ramp start video earlier....
  12. Damn it has been that long hasn't it. Okay, I was mistaken.
  13. Enjoy your timeout.... The Hornet was released into EA on 1 June 2019 - sure seems like you have no clue what you are talking about.
  14. To give you a bit more detail than the above poster, it's obvious you are new here, the Warthog was original developed under a USAF/ANG contract as a desktop trainer for pilots training to go from the A model to the C model. Due to this there are a lot of extra "red tape" or restrictions placed on ED as to what they can and cannot do for this module. Most here would pay extra for an HMCS add-on or update to the Hawg - you are not alone. We can only wait to see if ED can negotiate the option, we don't even know if they can.
  15. That means you are most likely in ByPass mode and you need to fix that.
  16. That is correct and it looks like that is the direction ED is going.
  17. While that is a valid proposal, "other planes" the LGB code is not tied nor tagged to the TGP. There is a "cheat menu" to change the laser code of the bomb itself. That is the way I took the other poster's suggestion.
  18. Because then they would have to spend the time and resources to code it as a sub-menu. This is going to be EA, just deal with the limitations that come with it until the final system is in place.
  19. Doubtful, Wags update "reads" as if it is the new direction for high-fidelity models.
  20. As soon as they have a date they are confident they can "hit" they will announce it. I have yet to see them just release an anticipated module without any notice. Caveat - I believe it has happened with a 3rd party module and not an ED module.
  21. Preorder date on Steam is a placeholder for an anticipated release date because Steam requires a date for a product to go up for pre-sale.

It allows you to guide the bomb all the way to impact using the camera on the bomb itself. I, personally, don't see myself using it that often. Maybe in a historic-type mission where GBUs and LGBs are not available.
  23. That never happens..... :megalol:
  24. You need to reach out to ED Customer service, forums are not the place for that.
  25. You'll have to wait for someone with hands-on experience with a Block I JF-17 chimes in. Yes they do have access and have spoken about it on facebook and other mediums. Is it enough, I personally don't know. As can any Dev. I will give every new 3rd Party Dev 1 module. After that I can determine if they are worth supporting going forward. They are putting a lot of TLC into this module and it stands to reason that it will turn out to be a really good module. Authenticity is going to be up to those with first-hand experience.
